It's something in between, and mostly how people feel about it.
We have different age categories on here, so I have to consider it.

Some comments can be read with pure thoughts or not-so-pure thoughts.
Both are fine if nobody feels insulted or assaulted on a personal basis.
Although, common sense is applied here, because personal boundaries are sometimes very "grand" for some.

That's not really a catalog of what or what-not you can do here, many things are handled on occasion.
Mostly when there is a report, because I don't actively search the server for unfit commentary.

If you make a dirty joke which is not too graphic - well. It is what it is.
Insulting things (aimed to insult on a non-RP-level) is also against the rules.

What rules do you want this server to follow, exactly? I was under the impression that you didn't want the porn/NSFW. Do we also need to censor ourselves for swearing, dirty jokes, etc. or do you just not want any type of porn? Saying 'if you go all nasty' leaves it too open-ended.
