- Hello,
- I have reviewed the link. In my opinion it is innocuous. It is a blog post from over 10 years ago, where I am considering leaving Vodafone for Orange, where my friends were at the time, and when networks did not offer cross-network minutes.
- I am not minded to remove a link that you have acknowledged was made in good faith.
- I don’t have any incentive - other than you threatening to affect my organic pagerank - to remove the link, and I do not appreciate the threat.

- Hi there,
- I hope this email finds you well. I’ve contacted you twice previously to request the remove of links from your website to Vodafone.co.uk . I know you may have missed our earlier emails or may have been busy and unable to reply.
- However I’d be very grateful if you could help me by removing the links. If not, we may need to include your website in a disavow request to Google. I’d like to avoid this as it could affect your website’s standing with Google and result in a reduction in its authority.
- Below are the pages on your site which contain links to Vodafone.co.uk:

- Your help on this would be greatly appreciated and I hope to hear from you soon!

- Please cite me the section of Google's Webmaster Guidelines (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35769?hl=en) that require the removal of good-faith links to your client’s homepage. Unless you believe that what you say is a good-faith link is instead “a trick to intended to improve search engine rankings” or you believe that my good-faith link is a spam link.
- Unless I receive a satisfactory answer, I will be happy to contact Google and to inform them of the tactics you are using.
