Chocolate

>“Fwodo wan’ chokwit! Fwodo wan’ chokwit!”.

>You sigh. Frodo, your recently adopted fluffy unicorn, is throwing a tantrum on your living room carpet.

>“Good fluffies don’t ask for chocolate”, you tell him sternly. “Here, I cooked you some delicious pasta, eat it before it gets cold”.

>“Nuuu!”, Frodo answers, rolling on his back and futilely waving his hooves in the air. “Fwodo wan’ chokwit! Fwodo wan’ chokwit now!”.

>Now that you think about it, when you took Frodo from the shelter, yesterday, you heard a lot of the fluffies in the cages babble about chocolate. It was probably some previously owned fluffy’s fault spreading the word of the legendary treat among his peers.

>You don’t want to punish your pet for the tantrum with the sorry stick (that’s for when he’ll inevitably break something valuable), but sure as hell don’t want to concede to his whims: chocolate would probably damage the fluffy’s delicate teeth, and you certainly don’t want to take him to the dentist.

>Instead, you ask. “What is chocolate, Frodo?”.

>The fluffy stares back at you, marvel in his eyes. “Dahdeh nu know chokwit? Chokwit bes’ foodie eva!”.

>“And what does it taste like?”

>Frodo frowns. “Fwodo nu know… But Fwodo suwe chokwit bes’ nummie!”.

>You then pretend to have an idea. “Okay, I got it now! You’re very lucky, I have some chocolate I can give to you. Follow me, buddy!”.

>“Yay! Fwodo haf chokwit!”.

>Five minutes later, the unicorn is happily munching his prize on the kitchen floor.

>“Do you like your chocolate?”.

>Frodo stops eating his celery for a moment and looks at you with adoring eyes, his tail wagging. “Dis bes’ tweat eva! And dahdeh bestes’ dahdeh eva!”.

>You smile. Fluffies are not that complicated, after all.
