  3. Note: These changes will not take place until after World Tournament Series 3 finals as to not interrupt the competitive season. These means they are subject to change and most likely incomplete.

These are balance changes that have been copied from the “Balance and Bug Fixing” as well as the “Runes”, “Sigils”, and “Amulets” sections of the patch notes that the devs have internally, this does not include all of the notes. This is up to date as of January 1st 2015. As you will see these are mostly nerfs and bug fixes. I can’t imagine Anet would release a patch like this as it would upset too many players. I assume we’ll see more reworks like the Mesmer grandmaster traits along with some buffs for each of the professions.

  11. Attack Activated Sigils:
  12. Sigil of Air: Increased recharge from 3 seconds to 5 seconds.

  81. Inconsistent teleporting: Fixed bug which caused players to be immediately returned to their original position after teleporting.
  82. Stow weapon: Fixed bug which allowed the stowing of a weapon to unintentionally cancel some animations.
  83. Tethers: Fixed bug where tethers could not be seen in stealth. This will affect Magnet, Tainted Shackles, and Spatial Surge.
  84. PvP Queueing: Fixed a bug that caused players to not be taken out of queue when they pressed the leave queue button.
  85. You may now queue for Ranked and Unranked arenas while in Custom Arenas or Practice servers.
  86. You may now randomly enter other Practice arenas while in a Custom Arenas or Practice arenas.
  87. You can now change your PvP build in Practice Arenas.
  88. Matchmaking should be improved.
  89.  
  90. Elementalist:
  91. Ring of Fire: Fixed bug which caused burning to be applied to players if they teleported outside the ring without touching the fire.
  92. This fix applies to all rings.
  93. Drake’s Breath: Burning duration on this skill reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds per application.
  94. Soothing Disruption: Vigor duration on this trait reduced from 6 seconds to 4 seconds. Regeneration duration on this trait reduced from 6 seconds to 4 seconds.
  95. Renewing Stamina: Vigor duration on this trait reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds.
  96.  
  97. Engineer:
  98. Overcharged Shot: Now has a 1/4 second cast time. Added a brief warmup effect.
  99. Gear Shield: Increased the cooldown of this skill from 20 seconds to 25 seconds.
  100. Poison Grenade: Grenades can now be blocked.
  101. Incendiary Powder: Burning duration of this trait reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds. Added buff icon to show when Incendiary Powder is ready.
  102. Metal Plating: Reduced turret damage reduction of this trait from 30% to 15%.
  103. Rifled Turret Barrels: Damage increase bonus of this trait reduced from 15% to 10%. Turret range increase reduced from 50% to 40%.
  104. Thumper Turret: Health reduced.
  105.  
  106. Guardian:
  107. Amplified Wrath: Burning damage bonus of this trait decreased from 33% to 20%.
  108. Too high of burn damage is gimmicky. Condition Guardian will be compensated in other ways.
  109.  
  110. Mesmer:
  111. Halting Strike: This trait now has an internal cooldown of 1 second.
  112. Illusionary Leap: Clone’s health has been increased significantly to increase reliability of the Swap skill.
  113. Portal Exeunt: Added range indicator.
  114. Power Block: This trait can now lockout auto attacks for the 10 second duration.
  115. Disruptor’s Sustainment: Increased the duration of this trait from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
  116. Time Warp: Reduced the cooldown of this skill from 210 seconds to 180 seconds.

  118. Necromancer:
  119. Dark Path: Added a new warmup effect.
  120. Mark of Blood: Added a new warmup effect.
  121. Chillblains: Added a new warmup effect.
  122. Putrid Mark: Added a new warmup effect.
  123. Reaper’s Mark: Added a new warmup effect.
  124. Lich Form:
  125. Deathly Claws: Fixed bug that allowed this skill to be casted behind the Lich. Added a cone requirement to attack.
  126. Spinal Shivers: Damage reduced by 50%. Spinal Shivers now will be activated on the target and in an aoe around the target within a 360 radius.
  127. Death Shroud:
  128. Doom: Fear duration at all distances set to 1 second.
  129. Life Transfer: Fixed a bug where this skill would continue if Death Shroud was exited via Life Force being depleted.
  130. Reaper’s Protection: Fear Duration reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second.
  131. Terror: Damage no longer affects fears from Reaper’s Protection or Runes of the Nightmare.
  132. Ranger:
  133. Rapid Fire: Damage per arrow reduced by 5%.
  134. Eagle Eye: Removed 5% damage increase with Longbow and Harpoons.

  137. Steal: Fixed bug that caused Steal to be obstructed.
  138. Consume Plasma: Reduced Protection, Aegis, and Vigor durations from 10 seconds to 5 seconds.
  139. Shadow Refuge: Increased the cooldown of this skill from 60 seconds to 75 seconds.

  141. Warrior:
  142. “For Great Justice!”: Increased the cooldown of this skill from 25 to 30 seconds.
  143. “Shake it off!”: Increased the cooldown of this skill from 25 to 30 seconds.
