  1. Ever since the paralysis -> paresis thing Praenomen have lost any way to kill except for damage, which admittedly they do a truckload of. All of the liaison reports seeking to remedy the issue via ghast or biles have been rejected and last round we were given the green light for an alternate kill route but nobody really had any ideas. Here's one I have this time.
  2.
  3. Create 4 new Sanguis skills, call them something like Slowed Reflexes, Audacity, Seduced, Deadly Embrace. Slowed Reflexes could be put on when they are suffering from confusion, impatience, and epilepsy. Audacity could be put on when they are suffering from recklessness, berserking, and paranoia. Seduced could be put on when they are suffering from stupidity, loneliness, and masochism.
  4.
  5. Deadly Embrace would have differing effects based on what is stacked upon them, flavour would be the vampire sinking their fangs into the victim's neck and injecting a venom based on their condition. Slowed Reflexes would make focus cost double mana and the cooldown to take twice as long, Audacity would lower target's cutting/blunt audit, Seduced would make temptation and seduction ticks double in damage. If all 3 are on a target at the same time then Deadly Embrace has the vampire latch on with the victim too damaged to resist (they're stupid, disregarding their own health, and seduced by the vampire), instantly draining them dry and killing them. The instakill could restore 50% blood or so for the vampire. Note that the above effects are only for if you use Deadly Embrace on top of having the other aff on them.
  6.
  7. Have one Sanguis aff fade if the person is away from the presence of the vampire for ~30s and has all the requisite affs cured. Let the vampire know when one of these affs has faded.
  8.
  9. Since there is a first-cured aff in each of the conditions it's not possible to simply bury the kill condition affs under other ones, ensuring that someone always has the choice to cure them and avoid the corresponding Sanguis aff. They have to make this choice at the cost of ignoring the venom that is slashed which makes a lock a possibility again if they do choose to cure in such a way.
  10.
  11. This would all be accompanied by a damage overhaul of the class. This is just the core concept of the idea, numbers and all subject to testing and balancing of course ie maybe 4 Mentis affs per stack is better, etc. Dementia should not be used as an aff for any of these conditions because the Survival Clarity skill ensures it can be kept off indefinitely.
