Piss Poor Group Session 52

[19:05] * Rabtar  the group has spent several days in Newton, repairing the tank and a set of badly damaged power armour. Now they must choose their next move.
[19:06] * Ragebrew rolled the power armor helmet between her hooves, rubbing Maw's head idly. "So, next plan? We got the Glow to attend to, or we can finish up with the last few things around. Maybe go hunt something big and scary, haul to the dragoness for some last supplies."
[19:08] * Elektron gulps "Well... If you think the dragoness' supplies will help I suppose we can go get something for her..."
[19:11] * Ragebrew nodded. "She's given us some good gear before. Friendly enough. Coming with something big and tasty helps get on her good side. Figure we can hunt something down along the way then." She looked to the others. "Thoughts?"
[19:11] <Spectre> "... Whats more likely to avoid a horrible death?"
[19:13] <+Ragebrew> "Getting as much support as we can. So dragoness. Unless yer afraid of hunting some big game."
[19:13] <Spectre> "Not particularly... Sounds like it could even be fun

[19:17] * Ragebrew hopped onto the tank, nestling Maw on her head. "Right then. Isn't too far out, but we'll want to look for something big and tasty along the way."
[19:18] * Elektron nods, climbing into the pilot's seat
[19:18] * Lostshot rolls over and yawns grumbling softly and shielding her eyes with a hoof
[19:18] <Spectre> "Wake me up when you need me"
[19:18] * Spectre curls into a batpony ball of snoozling
[19:19] * Ragebrew nodded, looking to the sky. "Figure we'll want to start hunting around dusk. When all the nasty critters come out of hiding."
[19:20] * Spectre will grin at that. Night hunting was best hunting
[19:22] * Ragebrew chuckled. "Well, dont be pissed if we find something at noon. Trust me, a chunk of a dragon's hoard is worth the sunblindness."
[19:24] <Spectre> "At least that damned ball is hidden behind the clouds" he mutters sleepily
[19:25] * Ragebrew nudged Elektron. "Right, lets get this show on the road."
[19:26] * Elektron nods and starts up the tank, setting it off in the general direction of the dragoness' cave
[19:32] * Ragebrew hopped off the tank part way through the trip, looking at... a very large pile of shit. She eyed it for a moment, poking it with her hoof. "Still wet. And big. Oh this'll be fun." She trotted around, looking for tracks before wandering off after them.
[19:32] * Spectre will remain asleep until someone tells him theyve arrived
[19:34] * Mad_Modd  they have set off in the early morning because I said so. At around dusk they come across a kink of big, half moon shaped hole in the side of a dirt hill.....
[19:35] * Lostshot pounces to her hooves with a cackle! "100% battery must drain as fast as can now!" she giggles wildly running in circles in her new power armor!
[19:36] * Elektron stops the tank, poking out of the cockpit "Is this what you were looking for Rage?"
[19:36] * Ragebrew eyed the hole in the dirt. She nodded as she flicked out Omega. "Eeeeyup."
[19:36] * Lostshot zooms up Elektron himself like it was ground and she was wearing spiked shoes and goes to the hole trotting about it and sniffing around curiously!
[19:37] * Spectre snores
[19:37] * Mad_Modd  Ragebrew can see all the tell tale signs of a very large radscorpion
[19:38] * Ragebrew blinked. "Oh... You....." She looked around, then back to the tank. "So, who wants to whack an albino radscorp?"
[19:40] * Elektron "Sure!... you first..."
[19:41] * Ragebrew snickered "When am I NOT first? Besides stealth ops."
[19:42] * Lostshot looked about the hole diggy digging around "I dun wanna get stung..."
[19:42] * Mad_Modd it seems the group is in luck! They have found something big and quite scary. And with it being dawn, it's hunting time for the King Albino Radscorpion. The giant, white arachnid comes rushing out of it's burrow, hissing angrily at the group and snapping it's claws, almost as if it's challenging them....
[19:43] * Spectre is still sleeping
[19:44] * Lostshot kicks up dirt hoping to make a wall of sorts so she can ZOOOOOM back on top of the tank and let out a quiet adorable 'eep' from behind Ragebrew
[19:46] * Ragebrew hopped back as the scorpion rushed out. "Right then!" She looked the creature up and down quickly, slapping on her salvaged PA helmet, right over her hat. "Wake up Spectre, keep this thing at range! Longshot, use the main cannon. It's got a small set of anti tank rounds. Use them!"
[19:46] * Spectre groans and rolls over "What did we find?" he mutters rubbing his eyes
[19:47] <+Ragebrew> "Our friend from the circus!"
[19:48] <Spectre> ".... Well fuck" he mutters and redies his blade.. Wondering if it would even help
[19:49] * Lostshot rolls to the gun with a giggle loadin' in ATM's~
[19:50] * Elektron quickly pop backs into the pilot seat and moves the tank to be out of immediate danger, while still keeping the main gun in range
[19:54] * Mad_Modd  The King bug hisses and charges after the tank! Seeing it as a challenger! It easily catches up the slow machine and bashes it on the top of turret...
[19:55] * Mad_Modd C%3 and it puts a big ass dent in the top of the turret with a loud "CLANG!"
[19:59] * Lostshot shoots the cannon with AP rounds! A second shot as a wild for good measure!
[20:02] * Mad_Modd  the shot puts a goes into the King bug, doing a bit of harm to it...
[20:03] * Ragebrew snarled as the bug ripped into the tank before pulling out a slip of Frenzy. Her fwuff stood on end, and her eyes bugged out. "Come'ereyaovergrownsunovabitchahmusingyatoplatemyride!" BLAM BLAM went Omega.
[20:06] * Mad_Modd  the fwuffy mare fires once, the second round being a dud. Hitting the King bug in the body, putting a nice big dent in it's armour...
[20:09] * Spectre bites down on the katana and leaps out of the tank, swinging twice at the creatures head before heading up into the sky
[20:10] * ChanServ sets mode +v Merciful_Devotion for #piss_poor_group
[20:13] * Mad_Modd  the batpony puts a few big cuts in it's "head" pissing the King bug off even more....
[20:14] * Merciful_Devotion whips around to face the bug, firing off a pair of shots from her caster before a third wild shot
[20:18] * Mad_Modd  the kinky mare puts a few burns on the King bug, but it don't seem to care much about the plasma...
[20:21] * Elektron tries to bring down a leg upon the mighty beast with his mightier beast before backing off and retreating out of melee range
[20:24] * Mad_Modd  the attack hits, but it just frustrates the beast as it's prey scampers off again. It turns looking for an easier meal. And it finds one it Merciful_Devotion. The King bug scuttles up to her and tries to jab her with it's stinger...
[20:28] * Mad_Modd  the stinger goes right through her armour, digging into her leg and injecting poison into the mare!
[20:31] * Spectre grimacing the batpony dives in for another series of attacks to the creatures head
[20:34] * Mad_Modd  The kind bug swipes at the Batpony as he attacks!
[20:36] * Mad_Modd  the batpony hits the King bug again as the King bug hits him in the wing... hard...
[20:36] * Spectre the batpony gimaces and darts back into the sky after swinging a second time "Tricky bug..." he mutters
[20:37] * Ragebrew frothed around the handle of Omega, chasing after the bug, blasting off another round before reloading Omega with some incind rounds. "Stophittingmyfuckingtankyadamncockroackcome'ereandmaulmeIdareya!" She threw a bottle of anti venom to Merci as she charged by. Maw opened fire with a pair of flaming snotrockets.
[20:42] * Mad_Modd  the King bug is hit again, and now it's on fire!
[20:43] * Lostshot locks and loads shooting two more shots at the scorpion thing and aimin' both shots for it's head!
[20:46] * Mad_Modd  she hits it in the head twice! Now it's actually hurt and REALLY pissed off.
[20:57] * Merciful_Devotion groans woozily after the sting, firing off another pair of shots from her caster before gulping down the antivenin.
[21:03] * Mad_Modd  and the kinky mares plasma caster glitches!
[21:09] * Elektron quickly pops up and fires off three shots from his Plasma Defender before returning to the controls
[21:14] * Mad_Modd  the great King bug is badly wounded but still combat able
[21:16] * Mad_Modd  it turns in a rage and attacks Ragebrew, trying to get her with it's tail and claws!
[21:18] * Ragebrew made a pained squeak as she got pinched to hell and back, then got a stinger through the leg.
[21:18] * Mad_Modd  and the King bug mauls Ragebrew!
[21:22] * Lostshot flips her BR off her back and fires three shots into the scorpions head!
[21:24] * Mad_Modd  the small rounds all but bounce off it's thick carapace
[21:26] * Ragebrew bellowed in blind anger as she was torn up, blasting twice into the bug's face before reloading and blasting a third shot wildly.
[21:27] * Ragebrew 's Maw would leap into the fray, latching his teef onto the bug's face!
[21:29] * Mad_Modd  the great white King of bugs shutters and stumbles at the hit, it swings at Rage once more before it collapses and dies
[21:30] * Spectre lands not too far away "... We all ok?"
[21:30] * Ragebrew threw her hooves into the air "WOOH!" She promptly collapsed to the side, bleeding massively.
[21:31] * Ragebrew 's Maw was gnawing on the bug's face, even if his teef barely scratched the paint.
[21:31] * Elektron hops out of the tank "I'm all right, I was hoping we wouldn't be seeing that thing again though."
[21:32] <Spectre> "Alright..." he mutters and eyes the fluffpony "You can fix yourself... Right?"
[21:32] * Ragebrew nodded as she pulled out her last roll of magical bandages, wrapping them around her chest. "We all alive?"
[21:33] * Merciful_Devotion stumbles and falls onto her chest. "... Ow..."
[21:33] * Lostshot reloads and hope up and from the top of the tank onto the scorpion. She inspects it before looking deeper into the cave it came from with her unicorn horn lightness
[21:34] * Wirepony waves from deep inside the cave, returns to chomping at something on the floor.
[21:35] * Ragebrew pushed off the ground, and slapped a couple bandages on Merci's chest for good measure.
[21:36] * Spectre yawns and looks over to the tank "You guys still need me for anything?"
[21:36] * Lostshot keeps going closer to the thing with curiousity waving back "Hmm. What's this you've found metal pony?"
[21:37] * Ragebrew looked at the... Fuck off huge scorpion. "Right, she needs to come to THIS, not the other way around... Ya'll head out to the dragoness, I am gonna spend the night harvesting bits from this."
[21:40] * Wirepony busily rips chunks of meat and flesh from a long-dead Steel Ranger, ignores Lostshot
[21:40] <Spectre> "We cant just strap it to the top of the tank?"
[21:40] * Lostshot EYES the body "Um. You don't make deals do you? I would be willing to risk a lot for some armor and stuff on him you may not want."
[21:42] * Ragebrew looked over at Longshot and facehooved. "Damnit Mare, get away from that."
[21:42] * Wirepony hisses, spitting blood at Lostshot
[21:43] * Lostshot eeps and backs up looking around and wiping off the blood. She points to the distance "HOLY SHIT IS THAT A PILE OF STEEL RANGER BODIES AND A HELICOPTER?!" she yells looking from the corner of her eye to Wire seeing what his reaction might be.
[21:43] * Spectre blinks and looks over at Longshot ".... Yeah, rage, we're not leaving you here..."
[21:44] * Wirepony wraps a dozen wirey tendrils around the carcass and drags it out of sight, deeper into the cave.
[21:45] * Ragebrew shrugged. "It's got it's meal, I got mine. Don't worry."
[21:46] * Lostshot flails "Fuck. Well worth a shot." she shrugs. "Anypony else interested in going in the cave with me?"
[21:46] <+Ragebrew> "The cave that thing just went into?"
[21:46] <Spectre> "... I dont feel like dying, so no"
[21:47] * Lostshot nods "It had a Steel Ranger. At least I could go for the tags. I plan to just go in until he's there. Not fuck with him of course. If he wanted to kill me he could have... tried." she giggles
[21:48] * Ragebrew facehooved. "I'll check for the tags if and when it leaves."
[21:50] <Lostshot> "Meh. He could leave or be behind us or the next town over. I doubt he will just leave from this cave if he beat us here. And plus, he's metal lookin'."
[21:51] <Spectre> "Right, wheres the dragon? I can deliver the message faster by air. Provided you can give me something to convince it not to fry me on sight. It would be faster than travelling by tank, and you wouldnt be alone here if the others stay"
[21:52] * Lostshot flips her rifle around in her hooves and stays in the cave leaning against the wall and keeping her horn light on "Mmmmmnnn.. I'll wait a while then... fine.."
[21:53] <+Ragebrew> "Look for a cliff face some ways to the southwest. Look for bones. Tell her the fwuffy one has another meal for her. In the mean time..." CRACK, she peeled off a single piece of chitin she had been working on. "I got a long night."
[21:53] * Elektron climbs back into the tank and settles in for a long wait
[21:57] * Mad_Modd  and they settle down to cut up the once great King bug and set off to find the dragoness. For not dieing and shit the group gets 5000xp
