Granted, to even become able to compete with her on her scale, you've gotta get on that scale yerself. S'why I've decided to have Hadrien undergo that stuff, which wasn't a spur of the moment decision, but a lot of IC discussion and OOC discussion. After the first bit where Doc basically punchsploded a whole devil's ball, I decided, 'OK. Maybe it's best to gloss over the combat shit for a while til I can one, throw her some meaningfully hard targets, and two, tackle those myself.' Also, I honestly took the 'bad idea' comment as subtle hostility.
