- I used to be socially awkward too, prefering to hide and shy away from the world, keeping to myself. But I realized, that my stumbling of speech won't improve by itself.
- Now I'm a fluent speaker, able to crack jokes and puns with ease, and less derpy in general. I've earned more friends in the past three years than I have over the course of my life!
- And besides, I can't believe I missed out on socializing with friends over those lonely years. (had I had friends in the first place...)
- So take a gander and try conversing, it's fun and enjoyable! And from what I've learned, nobody is going to fuss over nitpicky details, stumbles of speech or a bit of awkwardness; what comes, goes, so don't worry about the past, implore of what you can say in the future!
- You could start off with simple hellos, no need for fancy three sentence British-speak. Get into the feel of it, maybe even ask how was someone's day next. It doesn't have to be an English expository essay ^_^; People will remember you for who you are, not for a slip in your speech that one obscure day.
- And remember, practice makes perfect ;)
