Broken Toys

The little boy cries for a toy
The dad, being the old sap that he is, buys the toy
The boy drops the toy and breaks it
He begs for a new toy

The dad sits there ignoring the boy as the boy continues to mourn
The boys other toy has been broken
This one cannot be fixed
The boy laments for the one thousandth time knowing that he can never get this toy back

He sits there like a sloth
With his two broken toys
Waiting for someone to fix them
As if the toys would fix themselves
