- How to Vertisy
- Vertisy is not meant to be easy. You will struggle for potions, and to sustain a stable meso income. This will help you maximise everything you can and cover the basics to give you the maximum income.
- You start off with a whopping 20,000 meso, This is plenty to get you going. First things first don't spend any of it to get off Maple island, or your tutorial.
- Head over to your job instructor and job advance, This will start a quest line of 'training'. These quests will fill you up with tons of potions upon completion but first you need to invest
- in some potions yourself. Below are the potions I recommend for you to use based off your class.
- Warriors: White potions, Blue Potions.
- Archers: Orange Potions, Blue Potions.
- Pirate: Orange Potions for Guns, White for Knuckles, Blue Potions.
- Thief: Orange Potions for Claw, White for Dagger, Blue Potions.
- Magician: Orange Potions, Blue Potions.
- Having spent about 15,000 of your 20,000 meso on some potions begin the quest line. LOOT EVERYTHING, absolutely everything has value so don't leave anything left behind.
- This will keep you going until about level 20, This is when you become Level efficient. Being level efficient means maximizing how much you gain HP/MP wise per level.
- Upon leveling up as you know you gain ALL your Hp and Mp back, use this to your advantage. Once you reach about the 80% mark, stop healing yourself to full hp/mp. What this
- does is allow you to save potions by relying on the level up to regen all your hp/mp. For example you're level 20, and have 500/1000 Hp, instead of using a potion to heal 300 hp or 150 hp
- Only use a potion when you're on the brink of death. If you level up with about 100Hp you gain 900 back meaning you just saved yourself x amount of potions depending on what your using
- this is the same for mp!
- Doing this alone will keep you going for a while, however you need to follow one rule.
- The rule to follow is what i call The One-Hit Rule
- The One-Hit Rule basically means... Don't force yourself to level on things your level, maximize what you can do. Due to the meso algorithm being custom in Vertisy It's not always
- the best idea to kill high level monsters! The Algorithm is (Monster Health / Monster level) then slightly randomized. Meaning the best way for you to make money is to find the monster
- with the highest health but the lowest level. To put this into perspective a Red snail is level 4, and has 40 health, (40/4)=10 So you are guaranteed about 10 meso a kill on a red snail, including the
- snail shell selling price of 5 meso that's about 14~20 meso per kill. Most classes will consume mp to kill something or multiple. If you spend 10 mana to kill 1 mob that's a lower level
- then you are, compared to using 100 mana to kill something of your level, You lose money. If a red snail is 40hp and 14~20 meso a kill, for a level 4 mob and will cost you nothing to kill, and a
- Pig is 75hp and 15~70 meso a kill but consumes more mana to kill it over a snail. You gain more profit from 2 snails then 1 pig (This is also dependent on drop RNG)
- In a nutshell... Kill things that are easy, Loot everything you can, Find the mob that fits you the best, and maximise what you get out of a level up to conserve as much as possible.
- The current best spots to make money from level 10~30 are Pigs, Ribbon Pigs, and Slimes. They provide an average meso gain from the coin alone, however they are capable of dropping
- ETC items that can sell from 5 to 150 meso each and they drop pretty frequent, on top of that all mobs drop Gachapon tickets which can pull in even more profit from NPC'ing useless
- equipment you get.
