[12:37] <TenMihara|GM>  whether you're trying to avoid starvation, working yoru ass off to make a comfortable living
[12:37] <TenMihara|GM>  or just trying to stay out of the path of raiders, slavers and other various monsters
[12:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Some people only need a simple drink and a couple hours to enjoy themselves
[12:38] <TenMihara|GM>  While others like the running around and get bored when they try to relax
[12:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Will a bit of relaxation at long last be good for our group of wastelanders?
[12:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Or  will it just make them crazy?
[12:39] <TenMihara|GM>  I guess we'll find out...
[12:39] <TenMihara|GM>  *****Session Begins*****
[12:41] * Purple_Kay finishes racking the balls. "Come on, Kid, there has to be some kind of wager." He looks over to Razor   "Ain't a game if nothing's on the line. "
[12:44] * Green_Field stops outside the door and says to Daisy, "no telling what kind of ponies are inside, so stay close ok?"
[12:44] * Razor watches carefully as Purple_Kay sets up the game. "Did you have something in mind?"
[12:45] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods and sticks close to Green.
[12:46] * Purple_Kay "Heck, doesn't matter what it is, long as its some thin'."  He brings a hoof to his chin in thought. "Hey, Beau? Any ideas on a friendly wager? Changes in mane style are off limits. "
[12:46] * Razor probably doesn't have much left to style anyway.
[12:47] * Harmony thinks. "Whomever loses is the first to take... five shots?"
[12:47] * Green_Field heads on in and looks around to see who's inside.
[12:48] <Purple_Kay> "Seems like a slight to the Kid. That's much worse on her than me. " he smirks.
[12:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Green_Field can see Purple_Kay, Razor and Harmony around the pool table. Logic_Gates is still at the counter with a Sparkle~Cola (I think)
[12:50] * Razor snorts. "Are you saying I can't handle it?"
[12:50] * Logic_Gates is.!
[12:50] * Logic_Gates is, even!
[12:50] * Harmony nods. "Oh, yes, I am sure it would be difficult for you, Razor, as compared to Mister Kay and his large frame."
[12:51] * Purple_Kay looks around for inspiration. He spies something tucked around the corner. It could be just scrap, but that kinda looks like a microphone. "Implying, not saying. But you are a hundred years to young to hang with me if I really cut loose. "
[12:52] * Green_Field joins Logic_Gates at the counter, "so what other unusual substances do you have to work with?"
[12:53] * Logic_Gates grunts slightly when Green_Field joins him. "Nothing." He seems to be rather cross about this.
[12:53] * Razor stomps a hoof. "I can take it!"
[12:53] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy takes a seat at the counter next to Green_Field, looking around curiously. There are a couple other patrons, but the group itself comprises most of the bar's current business
[12:57] * Purple_Kay gives a smile, cigarette dangling from his mouth. "I'm sure you can. Warm up game first, so ya can learn the rules. Loser takes a shot. We'll build from there. "
[12:59] * Razor nods, eyeing the table.
[12:59] * Green_Field to Logic_Gates, "that's unfortunate. It's not often I meet somepony that's actually prepared and organised for things."
[13:01] * Purple_Kay "I'll break. " He raises his bum leg onto tge table with a wince over the cue taking the end in his mouth. He sends tge cueball rocketing down the table into the cluster of balls. "Looks like im stripes."
[13:02] * Purple_Kay goes on to explain the rules while ge sets up hos next shot.
[13:02] * Logic_Gates shrugs. "I just get bored. And I want to get into the Collegiate so I can get a cloudwalking spell so I can sneak into a pegasus military base so I can get a rare video." He said this in a completely straight tone. He also notably didn't say what the title of the video was.
[13:02] * Harmony stands silently, watching the pool game.
[13:05] <Green_Field> "If that's what you do bored, I'd be amazed to see what you can do when driven."
[13:08] * Purple_Kay knocks in a couple more, giving himself better shots with practiced use of English. But he misses a long shot to the corner. "You're up, Kid"
[13:09] * Logic_Gates just shrugs. "I don't know."
[13:14] * Purple_Kay calls over to the barkeep as she gets ready to shoot. "Is that what I think it is in that corner over there?"
[13:15] <TenMihara|GM>  The Barkeep looks at Purple_Kay's querey, "That? I really don't know what that is. It's been a fixture here as long as I've owned the place. It's bolted to the wall."
[13:16] * Purple_Kay goes over and checks it out quickly, waiting his next shot.
[13:17] * Logic_Gates glances at Daisy, then back at Green. He seemed as if he was a bit off-put. "... Do you think you're going to raise her?" He mumbled in a low tone.
[13:18] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay can tell what's missign with a quick dip inside the casing. It would still be rusty and beat up looking, but he things a couple scrap electronics and about half an hour coudl get it running again.
[13:19] <Green_Field> "Not raise, I'll help her integrate somewhere."
[13:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy frowns. She taps her hoof 19 times against the counter
[13:20] * Razor still has no real idea how to play. Purple_Kay's explanation only goes so far. She goes for what she thinks is an easy shot first, but doesn't manage to sink the ball.
[13:20] * Logic_Gates blinks. "What's she saying?"
[13:22] * Purple_Kay gives her a quick lesson on English. Hitting the ball off center so it goes where you want it, before taking a shot. He seems to have trouble with his shoulder and the shot goes wide. He snorts. "You again. "  He goes back to fiddling with the machine while she shoots.
[13:26] * Green_Field waves over the barkeep, "probably wants a drink."
[13:26] * Razor preferred it when it was a simple 'hit a ball with a stick'. She doesn't do well with complicated stuff. Her next shot lands, though barely, but her followup shot ends up even worse than the first.
[13:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy frowns again. She taps more slowly this time, counting to 19 with her hoof.
[13:27] * Logic_Gates gets the idea and hoofs over 19 caps. "You know, I bet the Crusaders would appreciate her."
[13:28] <Green_Field> "No, she saying she's 19 years old."
[13:28] * Logic_Gates blinks. "What?"
[13:29] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy glowers at Logic, then nods enthusiastically to Green_Field
[13:29] * Purple_Kay passes the time between shooting and fixing the gizmo. His shoulder getting worse as he plays more. He ends up losing. "Looks like I take a shot. " he rolls his shoulder.
[13:30] * Logic_Gates retrieves his caps. "Oh. My mistake."
[13:30] * Razor is not sure how she won. She's absolutely terrible at the game! She looks smug though. Victory is victory!
[13:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy bristles at Logic, then smiles to Green_Field for gettign it right
[13:31] * Harmony chuckles. She wasn't expecting Purple_Kay to lose.
[13:31] * Purple_Kay orders another smokestack. "Those who stoke the fires! Grant me some luck!"
[13:31] <TenMihara|GM>  The Barkeep prepares the stack for Kay and slides it to him
[13:31] <Green_Field> "So, she doesn't need help growing up, just fitting in."
[13:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods once curtly
[13:32] * Purple_Kay "one more go, Kid. Loser tries out the machine I just fixed. "
[13:33] * Razor glances toward the machine, a little wary. "What is it?"
[13:34] <TenMihara|GM>  The Barkeep looks to Purple_Kay, "I was kinda curious about that myself. Not that I mind you fixing... whatever it is. I assume that's what you were doing, right?"
[13:34] * Purple_Kay "nothing harmful. Just a little entertainment. It's like a radio. Ya in or not?"
[13:34] * Logic_Gates looks off to the side. "Can't exactly give advice on that front." Him being fourteen. Wait. Fifteen. Huh, he forgot his birthday was yesterday.
[13:35] * Purple_Kay staggers a bit trying to pull off a tough pose, but catches himself.
[13:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy herself has a cutie mark of a single flower.
[13:38] * Razor gives him an incredulous look, and shakes her head. She mutters, "I don't even know how you didn't win last time. This game is too complicated..."
[13:38] <Green_Field> "Hmm." *pulls out the paper and pencil* "how did you get your cutie mark?"
[13:39] * Purple_Kay looks over to Harmony who has been taking in the game. " how about it, Beau? You up for a game? Same wager ."
[13:41] * Harmony thinks for a moment before nodding. "I would not mind, though are we wagering shots, or to use that machine?"
[13:42] * Purple_Kay "the machine. If you're game. It's nothing bad, I promise. "
[13:42] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy takes the pencil in her mouth. "Had help from friend. I was born slave, but he captured. Inspried me with talk of freedom. Sounded so nice. He taught me reading and numbers. Cutie mark came one night when he managed to sneka me away from camp for a bit and gave me a taste."
[13:43] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy then scribbles, "Yours?"
[13:43] * Harmony smiles. "Sure, I do not mind a friendly wager."
[13:47] * Purple_Kay "Great!"  He lines up the break. "Then there is just one more thing to teach you youngin's. Have you heard the phrase 'shark'?"
[13:47] * Harmony raises her eyebrow and slowly shakes her head. "No, I have not..."
[13:48] * Logic_Gates pulls back his lab coat. No cutie mark there.
[13:48] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy points to Green's cutie mark
[13:48] <Green_Field> "Well, I've been going around with groups like these for years now. I can't fight very well, but I'm good at working under the pressure of a fire fight. The fist group I went out with got in one and one of them got hit. I dragged him behind some cover applied medical aid and afterwards one of them mentioned that I had gained my cutie mark, I looked down and sure enough there it was."
[13:49] * Purple_Kay " You see, a shark is a player that hides his skill, loses a game or two, to lure fishes into the water. Into a big wager. The eats them." He proceeds to run the table.
[13:49] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods and scribbles some more. "You help ponies. Healing good. Freedom also good. Even better than he said."
[13:51] * Harmony blinks and her eye twitches. "That... was quite underhoofed."
[13:51] <Green_Field> "So Daisy, what would like to do with your freedom?"
[13:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy blinks, then twiddles her hooves. "Spent so long trying to get it... now not sure."
[13:53] * Purple_Kay smiles as he heads to the machine. "If you were the Kid I'd make you do this alone, but since you aren't, I'll join you. " he hits a few buttons and the screen comes on and music starts. He tosses her a microphone. "You're pink, I'm blue, we're both green. Name like Harmony you'll catch  on. "
[13:56] * Harmony nods slowly, looking to the screen for the words she is supposed to sing.
[13:57] * Purple_Kay missed the first bit, but picks it up in the middle with his worn but not unpleasant baritone. "I'm goin' to Coltston I'm gonna mess around, Yeah, I'm goin' to Coltston, Look out Coltston  town.
[13:59] * Green_Field waves the barkeep over again, "Well, we'll figured something out. How about a drink?"
[13:59] * Harmony smiles and sings her part, unfamiliar with the song, but in tune with the music and Purple_Kay and quite happy with the song choice.
[14:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy tilts her head curiously. "I am a bit thirsty."
[14:00] <TenMihara|GM>  *She wrote
[14:03] * Purple_Kay smiles and sings. Leaning into her a few times as the two part harmony comes and goes. He's grinning like a much younger stallion as the finish. "Not so bad. Haven't sung a song with a pretty lady in twenty years." He looks around the room. "Who's next?"
[14:03] <Green_Field> "Have you ever had alcohol before?"
[14:04] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy shakes her head
[14:05] <Green_Field> "Let's start you off with some cider then."
[14:07] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy looks curious. The barkeep slids her a mug of side. She fumbles her hoof into the handle and takes a swig. He eyes immediately light up and she attempts to drink the whole thing in one go
[14:07] <TenMihara|GM>  *Her
[14:12] <Green_Field> "You really should not drink and eat that fast."
[14:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy gags on the cider and sputters
[14:15] <TenMihara|GM>  The Barkeep trots up to Purple_Kay, "So that's what it does huh? Well, that sure was entertaining, especially with a voice like hers," He gestures to Harmony. "Not that you were too terrible yourself."
[14:16] * Logic_Gates wanders off to the corner of the room, kicking his hind legs slightly. Well, that went well.
[14:17] <Green_Field> "See?" *turning to the barkeep* "wild pegasus for myself."
[14:17] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy looks down at the half chugged Cider and sighs. She picks up the pencil again, "It all so good. Can't help myself."
[14:18] * Purple_Kay smirks. "I've always been lucky enough to have my faults covered by an attractive partner. " he looks over to Logic_Gates   "Hey,G, want a go?" He offers him the microphone.
[14:18] * Logic_Gates stares at the microphone. "I'm good at a lot of things. I don't think that's one of them."
[14:19] <TenMihara|GM>  The Bartender nods, "Well, this might just be an opportunity to drum up some extra business. You guys have been good to me, y'know that? between that Jake Juice recipe and now this... what did you say this machine was called?"
[14:20] <Green_Field> "You just have to learn how to savour it."
[14:21] * Harmony smiles at the Bartender and Purple_Kay at their compliments. She walks over to the bar, sitting down.
[14:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy looks like she didn't understand what that word meant
[14:22] * Purple_Kay "not sure. Ours had lettering intact. Something like 'car-ah-oh-Kay'
[14:23] <Green_Field> "Savour means to enjoy something slowly, so that the enjoyment lasts longer."
[14:26] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods slowly, then takes another sip of the cider, looking dreamy
[14:26] * Purple_Kay queues up another song. "Get rhythm, when you get the blues..."
[14:29] <TenMihara|GM>  The Bartender smiles, "Kareeokay huh? Well, since I can't rightly take something like that for free, let's say your tab for the night's on the house, hm?"
[14:30] * Purple_Kay gives a whoop mid song at that. Booze on the house! Time to really cut loose!
[14:32] * Green_Field 's ears perk up at "booze on the house."
[14:32] * Harmony wouldn't mind some free drinks.
[14:33] * Purple_Kay finishes and puts the microphone down. He orders a celebratory triple.
[14:35] * Logic_Gates slowly, silently flips through the options of the songs after Purple Kay left it alone. And then, well. He saw a song that he wanted to hear.
[14:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep goes back to the counte,r "So, what can i get you all?"
[14:47] <Green_Field> "Wild Pegasus."
[14:48] * Purple_Kay downs his triple and decides to give a sipping drink another chance. "Snifter of brandy?"
[14:53] * Logic_Gates kind of awkwardly waited for the bar to clear out some, then took the stage, eyes blank and forward. This was going to be embarrassing. He cleared his throat, then as the digital bleeps and acoustic guitar came in, he began to sing. "Code Pony get up get coffee, code pony go to job. Code pony go to boring
[14:54] <Logic_Gates> meeting, with boring manager Mob~"
[14:58] * Purple_Kay gives a whoop and raises his glass to G as he heads over to sit with Green_Field and Daisy. They didn't really get off on the right hoof, but he threw in when the foals were in danger v
[15:02] * Purple_Kay supposes that makes him ok.
[15:05] * Logic_Gates is, of course, a bad singer. Not horrible, though. "Someday Code Pony have everything, even pretty mare like you. Code pony just waiting for now, Code pony say someday, somehow. Code pony like cruncho's, Code pony like cap and Sparkle, too. Code pony very simple buck, with warm, fuzzy secret heart. Code pony like you.~"
[15:07] * Green_Field when Purple_Kay sits down, "so Kay, how are the wastes treating you?"
[15:09] * Purple_Kay rolls his shoulder. "Getting prettier everyday. "
[15:11] <Green_Field> "You're a freak of nature, most ponies would be bed ridden for weeks after that. Have a toast." As he takes a shot.
[15:13] * Purple_Kay smirks. "I've never been called a freak of nature by a /stallion/ before." He takes a measure drink of brandy.
[15:14] * Green_Field with a smirk of his own, "with wits to match. Have another." Taking another shot.
[15:16] * Purple_Kay takes another sip of brandy. "Keep flattering me and I might get the wrong idea. "
[15:18] <Green_Field> "Keep giving me free drinks and I might too."
[15:21] * Purple_Kay takes a drag on his cigarette. "Enjoying yourself Daisy?"
[15:24] * Purple_Kay orders another round for the table with a grin.
[15:26] * Harmony clears her throat, trying to get the attention of the bartender. "Do you have any wine in stock?"
[15:37] * Purple_Kay sips more as he waits. He really isn't a sipping kinda guy. He waves over Harmony to their table. "I'm sure hell bring it to ya. No need to wait over there. Join us!"
[15:39] * Harmony nods and walks over, joining the others, though she still wanted to get that bartender's attention... She smiles to all the ponies at the table. "Hello, Mister Kay, Mister Green, Daisy."
[15:39] * Logic_Gates blushes, but it doesn't show very well through his fur. He simply drops the microphone and makes a bee-line to the security room. Interaction is much easier when ponies seem smaller.
[15:40] * Purple_Kay applauds as he goes. "Good job, G!"
[15:40] * Green_Field takes another shot.
[15:46] * Logic_Gates tucks his tail between his legs and runs faster.
[15:48] * Purple_Kay gives a whistle as Logic_Gates flees. He speaks to Harmony and Green_Field , "Ya know, I could be convinced he's a bit on the shy side. "
[15:48] <Green_Field> "Hard to read, that one."
[15:49] * Harmony nods in agreement. "Seems to be, yes."
[15:50] * Purple_Kay "How was the spa?"
[15:51] * Harmony looks to Daisy. "It was wonderful. Daisy, don't you agree?"
[15:54] * Green_Field suddenly remembering, pulls out the green dress  and shows Purple_Kay the burn, "hay, would you able to do something with this?"
[15:55] * Purple_Kay studies the burn. "Yeah, won't take much. Add a little decorative frill and good as new. "
[15:56] <Green_Field> "Excellent, thanks."
[16:01] * Purple_Kay looks between the two mares. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. You both look marvelous. I'm a little sad I couldn't join you. "
[16:06] * Purple_Kay finishes his brandy. "Any thought on where we should take you, Daisy? Got friends in Flank that might be willing to take her on as a waitress, but it's a little on the seedy side. "
[16:14] * Harmony looks to Purple_Kay. "When... Proverb is back, where shall we be off to next?"
[16:15] * Green_Field takes another shot.
[16:17] * Purple_Kay "Good question. I've thought a bit about that stable, but I think that's a bust. Golden will probably give the location to the Society and they'll send a team or hire one. Not worth bleeding more over. "
[16:20] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth. "Board seems played out here, maybe trot down to Flank anyway to see if there are any interesting prospects. "
[16:20] * Purple_Kay "then again, I think G wanted to hit up the collegiate  "
[16:28] * Purple_Kay "What about y'all? Needs, desires?"
[16:30] <Harmony> "I do not have any pressing matters..."
[16:32] * Green_Field taking another shot, "just let me know when you've made up your minds."
[16:35] * Purple_Kay snorts. "Well, won't know anything until tomorrow night. If Wishy isn't back by then I intend to drag her back by an ear. "
[16:48] * Purple_Kay rises, he's on the verge of losing his hard won relaxation to worry. He goes and fiddles with the karaoke machine. He queues up a song from the full version library. A stallion's voice rings out soft and slow.
[16:49] * Purple_Kay  trots over to Harmony. He holds out a hoof.  "Spare a dance for an old stallion?"
[16:49] * Harmony smiles and nods, taking Purple_Kay's hoof and sitting up. "Of course, Mister Kay."
[16:49] * Logic_Gates watches the festivities over the camera footage, while sipping on a sparkle cola.
[16:52] * Purple_Kay leads her around the open floor, a hitch every so often due to his shoulder, but he's obviously done this before. He adds a bit of complexity, he's confident she can keep up.
[16:54] * Harmony can indeed, obviously knowing how to keep her tempo and step with his, following his moves with a small smile.
[16:57] * Purple_Kay "You are rather good at this. Last time I tried to dance in this bar I has to dance alone. "
[17:00] <Harmony> "You seem to dance well, too." She smirks. "Shame, I would think you could manage to challenge Razor into dancing."
[17:03] * Purple_Kay "Didn't work last time. Kid just doesn't appreciate the slower things." He steps back and bows as the song ends, then looks up with a mischievous glint in his eyes as the next song opens with a blast of high tempo sax. A big band swing number blaring through the speakers. "Course I can appreciate fast too. Still game?"
[17:04] * Harmony certainly is, picking up her pace and step, following the beat of the song.
[17:25] <Purple_Kay_> • Purple_Kay_ spins her around the room pushing himself just as hard as he can and being thrilled she can keep up... And thankful she isn't trying to push back. He hasn't danced like this in probably her lifetime. As the song ends he tries to hide how out of breath he is.
[17:27] * Harmony chuckles as the song ends, smiling brightly. "Thank you for the dance, Mister Kay." She bows her head. "I have not had fun like that in a while."
[17:28] * Harmony moves back to the table and sits down, nudging Green_Field as she sits. She smirks. "Maybe you should ask Daisy to dance~"
[17:31] * Purple_Kay_ noticed the slick sensation on his foreleg as he follows her back to the table. Maybe swing was overdoing it. Oh well. "Yeah, Doc, I can queue up another slow one, or something lively."
[17:35] * Green_Field looks at Purple_Kay_'s shoulder while smirking and taking another shot, "I would say take it easy, but after that, your shoulder seems to be holding up. Like I said freak of nature."
[17:37] * Purple_Kay_ "It's not that special. If I let pain hold me back, I'd never move. "
[17:39] <Green_Field> "I hear that. I've met a lot of 'tough guys' that buckle to the slightest pain. Pathetic really."
[17:46] * Purple_Kay_ nods. Ordering another round of shots.
[18:08] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy blinks at the festivities that were going on around her. She looks a little overwhelmed
[18:09] <Green_Field> "Embarassment is another kind of pain that we must get over. Daisy, let's have that dance."
[18:10] * Harmony tries to get the attention of the bartender once more, asking for what wines they have available.
[18:11] * Purple_Kay_ trots over to the machine. "You waltz Green_Field? Doesnt get much simpler."
[18:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy blinks and points to herself skeptically.
[18:13] <Green_Field> "Are you kidding? My dancing is terrible, but it usually gets better as the alcohol drip continuse
[18:14] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy looks sheepish
[18:14] * Green_Field turning to Daisy with a smile, "yes you, who else?"
[18:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy gets to her hooves and fidgets a bit nervously
[18:16] * Purple_Kay_ puts on a simple waltz and walks over the Harmony. "Simplest dance there is Daisy."  He bows and leads her once around. "1,2,3. 1,2,3."
[18:16] <Green_Field> "Come on, you won't be any worse than me."
[18:17] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy attempts to follow, but is painfully lacking in grace. Her limbs still being somewhat emmaciated doesn't help either.
[18:17] * Purple_Kay_ ends the tutorial lap back at the bar do she can see about her wine. He watches the others dance.
[18:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep gets Harmony her glass of wine (finally) and watches the dancing. Some more patrons mill about, drawn by the curious music
[18:19] * Green_Field 's "grace" is quite lacking as well, but keeping it simple doesn't dance too badly.
[18:20] * Harmony smiles and sips her wine.
[18:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep chuckles as the new patrons show up, "This keeps up I might even give Mixers in Flank a run for its money."
[18:23] * Purple_Kay_ orders a glass of what Harmony is having. "Warms your heart, doesnt it? Seeing a former slave get to experience freedom and a bit of happiness?"
[18:23] * Harmony nods, enjoying watching the others dance.
[18:25] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy trips over her own hooves and sends herself and Green sprawling
[18:27] * Razor is currently at a table by herself. She's been watching then sing and dance, definitely wanting no part of it.
[18:27] * Green_Field gets up and helps her up, "are you all right?"
[18:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy shakes her head and rubs the back of it, looking sheepish and blushing
[18:30] * Green_Field checks her head for injury and smiling says, "let's go sit down then, you can finish your cider."
[18:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods and takes her seat, sipping her cider sheepishly.
[18:33] * Purple_Kay_ orders a beer and takes it over to Razor 's table. He puts it in front of her and sits, sipping his wine. Why did he order another sipping drink?
[18:34] * Razor glances up as Purple_Kay_ brings over a beer. She mutters, "Thanks."
[18:35] * Purple_Kay_ motions to the karaoke machine. "Wanna sing one?" He smirks.
[18:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Disy lets out a sigh of contentment, followed by a hiccup
[18:36] * Razor shakes her head. "You kidding? There's no way."
[18:37] * Purple_Kay_ "A dance then?"
[18:37] * Green_Field taking another shot, "Good to see you enjoying yourself. I don't want to hog all fun."
[18:38] * Razor rolls her eyes. "Guess again!" She takes a drink.
[18:39] * Purple_Kay_ rubs his chin in thought. "Hmmm. If I can't find something you enjoy other than fighting soon, I'll just have to let you punch me."
[18:40] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy takes the pencil and scribbles some more, "You all so nice to me. Show me many things. He would be happy."
[18:41] * Razor smirks. "You sure you wouldn't like it?"
[18:41] * Green_Field his smile fading, "I'm almost afraid to ask what happened to him?"
[18:43] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy sighs, then continues scribbling. "We both fell. I was hurt, but I landed on him. Lucky to live. He not as lucky. His neck bent wrong and he didn't get up when I prodded him, then bug monster came."
[18:43] * Purple_Kay_ "If it would get a smile out of you, I'm sure I could find the positive in it."
[18:43] * Harmony orders another glass of wine as she finishes her current glass.
[18:44] * Razor outright grins. "Be careful what you ask for. I hit /hard/."
[18:45] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep gets it for her, then looks around at the increased business. "Looks like that tab for you guys for the night will be covered." He chuckles.
[18:45] * Purple_Kay_ grins back. "Haven't I proved I can take a pounding?"
[18:45] <Green_Field> "Well, the only thing I can do is make you happy and try to find a free place for you out here, it sounds like that's what he would want."
[18:48] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods, "I don't think he alive now, which is why I thought maybe I dead too."
[18:52] <Green_Field> "You think he might be alive still in the stable?"
[18:52] * Razor thinks a moment. "I dunno. You've been limping a lot lately."
[18:53] * Purple_Kay_ snorts. "In my defense, I think I'm allowed a little limp if the bone is exposed."
[18:54] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy shakes her head, "He not with me when you save from fire. Bug monster probably eat." She hangs her head, looking sad
[18:56] * Razor rolls her eyes and takes another drink. "See? Can't take a hit!"
[18:57] * Purple_Kay_ "Well, your one to talk. "
[18:57] * Razor gives Purple_Kay_ a glare. "What do you mean?"
[18:58] * Harmony watches Purple_Kay and Razor's conversation.
[19:00] * Purple_Kay_ smirks. "Don't you remember, Glass-jaw? Or is that a side effect of the concussions. " He finishes his wine. "You were unconscious as much as not when we met. "
[19:00] <Green_Field> "I'm a doctor and I should be good at making others feel better in these situations, but I'm not. All I can say is I'm sorry he died, not that it does any good."
[19:01] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods, "He wanted to show me freedom, and thanks to him I am. He'd be happy I think."
[19:02] * Razor snorts. "You wanna try it out? I'd be surprised if you lasted half as long as me!"
[19:03] * Purple_Kay_ "Are you seriously suggesting we play "punch each other in the face until one is knocked out"?"
[19:07] * Green_Field takes yet another shot, not sure where to take conversation from here.
[19:08] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy traces a hoof on the counter, not really sure what to do next... "What you think I do now?" she scribbles
[19:08] * Razor stomps a hoof on the table. "You're the one who decided to bring it up! You have nopony to blame but yourself!"
[19:10] * Harmony giggles from afar, amused by Razor's yelling.
[19:11] * Purple_Kay_ sucks his teeth. "Kid, I'd cut off my own hoof before I'd let it strike you." He looks at his empty glass. "I'm a bit to the wind as it is, but I could stilll take you shot for shot. "
[19:11] * Purple_Kay_ "We do have an unlimited tab tonight."
[19:12] <Green_Field> "We'll have to find something that you like to do and that you're good at. You said healing is good and I wouldn't mind having a nurse to help me out."
[19:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep calls out to Purple_Kay, "Unless you drink my stock dry. If you do, I'd be sending you out to replace it."
[19:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy blinks and tilts her head again, not sure about that word once again
[19:15] * Razor glares at Purple_Kay_. "Is that a challenge? You couldn't win if you tried!"
[19:16] <Green_Field> "You could help me heal ponies."
[19:17] * Purple_Kay_ "it'll be ok 'Keep. She'll be out well before you are. ".
[19:17] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy scribbles some mroe, "I don't know healing."
[19:17] * Purple_Kay_ gives a predatory smile.
[19:17] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep chuckles
[19:18] <Green_Field> "No, but I do, and you've proven that you can learn things."
[19:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy ponders that. She looks intrigued, but hesitant
[19:20] * Razor glares.
[19:22] * Purple_Kay_ returns the look with a smile. "I suggest we shoot straight Buck Hardy. No need to piddle around. "
[19:24] * Green_Field before taking another shot, "At any rate, we can figure it out later. Tonight is supposed to be about having fun."
[19:24] * Razor "You gonna set us up or you gonna keep talking?"
[19:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods and drinks the last dregs of her cider. She smiles and wobbles a bit
[19:25] * Purple_Kay_ calls back to Barkeep. "Two bottles of Buck Hardy 151, and two glasses please!"
[19:26] * Green_Field puts out a hoof out to steady her.
[19:27] * Harmony walks over to Purple_Kay and Razor. "May I join you two?"
[19:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep nods and sets them up, "Your call chief. Don't expect me to shovel you out if you crash though."
[19:29] * Purple_Kay_ quirks an eyebrow. "You... Want to join our drinking match?"
[19:30] * Razor smirks. "You sure you can handle it?"
[19:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep looks at Harmony, "You look like a mare who likes the finer things. This is about the furthest from."
[19:31] * Harmony shrugs. "Most likely not, but I do not have much else to do."
[19:32] * Purple_Kay_ "another bottle and glass then!"
[19:33] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep shrugs and brings it up, "Your funeral miss."
[19:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy smiles thankfully and rubs her head, looking a touch disoriented
[19:36] * Purple_Kay_ takes his bottle and pours the 151 proof alcohol up to the line near the brim. "Pour to the line, shot it all. We drink at the same time. Any pony doesn't drink, or doesn't keep it down, loses. May the best stallion win. "
[19:37] * Harmony nods and follows Purple_Kay's actions.
[19:39] * Razor pours her own as well. "You mean 'May the best mare win!' "
[19:40] * Purple_Kay_ smiles. "I know what I said. Shoot!"  He throws his head back.
[19:40] * Razor downs hers. Bring it on!
[19:41] * Harmony downs hers, somewhat reluctantly, now that she was in the challenge.
[19:42] <TenMihara|GM>  Harmony may know how to pick the good stuff, but she sure as hell can't take it. She immediately keels over
[19:42] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep just laughs, "We warned her."
[19:42] * Harmony is asleep now. She likes sleep, but wishes she had a pillow.
[19:43] * Purple_Kay_ "poor thing. You'll look just as peaceful when you go out, Kid." He pours.
[19:44] * Razor grins. "Funny, I was just aboutn to say the same to you." She pours as well. "You can still quit now!"
[19:45] * Purple_Kay_ "Shoot!"
[19:45] <Green_Field> "I was hoping to show you billiards before we had to turn in."
[19:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Diasy nods and trots over to the table a little wobbly, and looks down at the colourful balls curiously.
[19:46] * Razor downs hers at the same time.
[19:47] <TenMihara|GM>  Both contenders stay through this round
[19:48] * Razor pours again. "You've got no chance."
[19:48] * Purple_Kay_ "Still with me?" He smiles. Although truth be told he regrets some of his prior drinking. He pours.
[19:49] * Purple_Kay_ "Shoot!"
[19:49] * Green_Field sets up the rack, "I'll show you first." He explains how it's played and only misses once. "It's been a bit since I've played. I'll rack 'em again."
[19:49] <TenMihara|GM>  A lot of other patrons are watching this contest now curiously. Some murmurs went through the crowd, includign a couple small wagers
[19:50] * Purple_Kay_ "Woo!" He smirks.
[19:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Thus far, the two contenders are in a dead heat.
[19:51] * Purple_Kay_ "Don't embarrass yourself now. You can switch to Brahmin milk any time!" He pours.
[19:52] * Razor scowls and pours again.
[19:52] * Purple_Kay_ "Shoot!"
[19:56] * Purple_Kay_ gets hit by the effects of a night of heavy drinking to her couple beers. The gorge builds in his throat.
[19:56] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor feels incredibly buzzed, and probably rather validated as the big purple buck falls to the floor on his fourth shot, while she, just barely, manages to remain in her seat. There's some cheering and booing from the crowd and the clinking of some caps changeing hooves
[19:57] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's hitting the floor shakes the whole damn bar
[19:59] <Green_Field> It makes Green miss a pocket, "damn."
[20:00] * Razor feels pretty damn good about herself right now. "Ha...! Told him!"
[20:00] * Harmony is still asleep.
[20:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy fumbles her pool cue and takes a shot, but it bouces off the side and sinks the cue ball
[20:01] * Purple_Kay_ didn't fall directly on Harmony, but did manage to come to rest limbs tangled on hers.
[20:03] * Razor decides to rest on the table. She slumps over it, still grinning.
[20:03] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep puts the bottles and glasses away, "Helluvashow kids."
[20:05] * Green_Field picks up the ball that went off the table and does his best to help teach her the earth pony technique, not knowing it that well himself.
[20:05] * Purple_Kay_ snuggles with the warm thing in his hooves.
[20:06] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy this time manages to tear into the fabric of the table
[20:08] * Green_Field winces a little knowing he'll have to pay for that.
[20:09] * Harmony snuggles back...mmmm... pillow.
[20:09] <Green_Field> "Daisy, you're hitting them way too hard."
[20:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep looks at the ripped table, "I think you might wanna take her home. Not that she's not welcome, just that she seems to be at her limit. Also, unless your friend can fix that too, I'm gonna have to ask you to pay me to replace it."
[20:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy drops the cue and shrinks back a bit
[20:11] * Purple_Kay_ 's muddled mind is 22 years in the past as he snuggles behind Forgefire...
[20:12] * Green_Field afraid to ask, "how much? We'll use it as collateral until he fixes it."
[20:12] * Purple_Kay_ nibbles and ear.
[20:13] * Razor is dozing... not quite passed out but almost there.
[20:15] * Harmony purrs... such a comfy pillow.
[20:15] * Purple_Kay_ rests his head on top of Forge's. No horn. No Horn... NO HORN! His eyes shoot open.
[20:16] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep nods, "Fifty."
[20:18] * Purple_Kay_ lays there, cradling Harmony against him, although now jolted completely out of his previous... Mood. He finds himself rather stuck.
[20:19] * Green_Field hoofs him the fifty caps, "I'll get him to fix that as soon as I can."
[20:20] * Purple_Kay_ tries to gently free himself.
[20:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Barkeep nods, "And when he does, I'll refund him."
[20:22] * Green_Field turning back to Daisy, "maybe we ought to head back to the inn, you're starting to look a little out of it. You have had quite a day.
[20:23] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods and shuffles her hooves
[20:23] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy looks up with a smile though, a small one. It really had been the best day of her life so far. By a rather wide margin
[20:24] * Purple_Kay_ is well and truly stuck. Harmony is like a super attractive vice!
[20:25] * Green_Field heads over to Purple_Kay_ and notices his situation, "uh, Daisy and I are heading back to the inn."
[20:25] * Purple_Kay_ "I didn't win, did I?"
[20:26] <Green_Field> "If the sound and thump of you falling over is any indication, no."
[20:26] * Harmony clutches her pillow tightly.
[20:26] * Harmony neeeeeeds her pillow.
[20:28] * Purple_Kay_ struggles to shift himself to get her on his back and stand.  "Didnt entirely lose either."
[20:28] <Green_Field> "A good way to look at life."
[20:29] * Harmony clings to Purple_Kay's back!
[20:30] * Purple_Kay_ noses Razor 's cheek. "Come on, Champ. You win. Lets get some sleep... Not on the bar."
[20:30] * Logic_Gates quietly starts his partitioning again. He needed to find a portable storage system for these files sometime.
[20:32] * Green_Field smiles back at Daisy, "sleep sounds like a good idea."
[20:33] * Razor jerks away from the nosing and glances up. When she sees who it is, she grins. "Ha! I told you! Teach you to underestimate me!" She stands, a little wobbly.
[20:33] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods and leans against green, yawning
[20:36] * Purple_Kay_ gives a woozy, crooked smile. "You are the Baroness of Booze! I would bow, but I would fall over. Lets go." He carefully staggers out with Harmony and Razor to their room.
[20:36] * Green_Field laying down for her to get on his back, "it was mean of me to make you dance when you're still needing to get your strength up. I'll make it up to you by carrying you back."
[20:37] * Razor smirks. "Baroness... I like the sound of that..."
[20:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy nods a bit sheepishly and makes a garbled 'mhm' noise in her throat. She gets on his back
[20:39] * Purple_Kay_ arrives in their room and looks at the bed, Razor, and Harmony in turn. "How are we doing this?"
[20:41] * Razor unceremoniously flops onto the bed. She doesn't care how they're doing it, she likes beds.
[20:43] * Green_Field arrives at their rooms and disinfects the bed again before gently putting Daisy on it.
[20:43] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy immediately nods off.
[20:44] * Purple_Kay_ would like the bed too... But he can't let Harmony sleep alone, she has a bounty. And if she's in this room with them there is only one bed.
[20:45] * Purple_Kay_ and chivalry demands she have a bed!  He lays her beside Razor and tucks them in.
[20:46] * Green_Field puts he covera on her and tucks her in. He gets out his clean bedroll, takes of his armor, and lays down for sleep himself.
