Dear Saurabh,
It is great to see your interest to develop things to contribute to our IITR community and if you have a good idea we would love to see it implemented and launched in the community.

We believe that learning is a key part of developing anything and expect you to take your time developing it with reasonable amount of effort so as to balance your academics and other extra-curriculars alongwith it.

Firstly if you are interested to join IMG then you have a great opportunity as we will be recruiting from second year too this year. The information is not out yet but you will be seeing a post regarding it with details within a day on our Facebook page.

If you are selected then we will surely help you work on your idea and bring out your app. But as of now we do not allow any third person outside of group access to our servers or source code, but we will see if we can have some alternate route if necessary after recruitments.

Great to hear from you and eagerly waiting to discuss your ideas :)

Hi,
I have got some idea about developing a App related to Lectures and Tutorials, App of IMG and want to work for it. I have discussed the idea with Vaishali Jain and Ishu Goyal and they agreed and told me to contact you.

I will send you the exact and detailed Idea after your reply.

I really want to develop it, not like IMG takes all the responsibility and make the app, I want to learn and have some experience. I agree I don't have development experience and may delay the launch of the App, but ready to spend 2-3 hours a day if all of you help and support.

If it is not possible then atleast I want all the source files and Screencasts during development by your team if possible. I promise that I will only use that to learn and not take any advantage to find bugs and attack the server or give to other. If you have some privacy problems regarding sharing the source code and if I need to be part of IMG for this and if you think I am eligible then I am ready to join IMG.
