Star Citizen: A Tribute

Wow, what a gathering! Been following this and I'm having a hard time believing
the sheer scope and vision of the this gaming masterpiece, and I dearly hope
that everybody and their brother throws even just a basic $60 at this monumental
achievement. I feel only pity for those detractors who have said that this is a
waste of everybody's time and money. It's time to swallow your pride and admit
you were wrong! Wrong about Chris, wrong about Sandi, and thwarted in your hope
that this thing isn't going to come out any time soon, but please take heart;
You can always pledge and join us in the 'verse ... As for the Escapist and co,
I hear that there's good money in making shit up and posting it online as fact.

As for personal attacks; it takes a big man to admit that he's wrong, but despite
the evidence goons continue to troll CIG. In the face of personal attacks on
his size, Lesnick has so far proved to be staggeringly resilient. Every day he's
having to kick another childish goon from the community. CIG's dedicated guys are
out there on the forums tirelessly demanding that you donate more money to this
to create the Best Damn Space Game, and you idiots still claim that this is a
ridiculous Ponzi scheme. In fact, I have to say if there's one person who I feel
has lost the plot entirely it has to be Derek Smart. If there's one guy who
should be drawn and quartered for their part in this, it has to be him.

So this long and rambling post is basically all to say that I'm finally, and
utterly fed up with the flak this game has been getting. Those idiots who are
completely convinced that this is a scam, a way of fleecing money from nerds
should remember they are worshipping Derek Smart - a main clearly attempting
to reboot a failed career from another angle. There simply isn't any
basis to his accusations - at the Con, Chris and Co. showed there's plenty of
substance to this game, and those supporters who earnestly believe the contrary
picture painted by this delusional madman and his horde of goon sycophants
should probably be kept away from sharp objects and, if possible, sectioned. I
am going to increase my pledge amount as soon as I can, and in the meantime
feel nothing but pity for those lapping up this drivel.
