Seaquestrian History Mosaic

 Stray has the same difficulties as Jewelle explains to him that the records underwater tend be told orally or in more permanent fashions but she comes across a panel of a mosaic made from sand that magically shifts between a fable of Seaquestria's founding on loop, lightweight enough to be taken home and about the size of a small poster. The sand shifts on a scene dynamically which Jewelle explain... One scene depicts tentacles reaching from under the water, but a mermare guided by a moonbeam fights them into submission.  Jewelle explains that a mermare chosen by Luna drove back a terrible beast from the waters making it so ponies from the land could swim, and this is the origin of seaponies. Seaquestria is said to be founded in the region where the beast was felled. This is shown in the animated mosaic in a rather amusing parallel to the Darwinist animations of fishes gaining legs compared to ponies losing theirs and gaining fish tails.
