1. >You never went back to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night
2. >There was too much on your mind
3. >You mean, it’s not like you haven’t gotten a little wet in the middle of the night
4. >When some dreams can get hot and heavy…
5. >…but this dream wasn’t even sexual…
6. >It was just hanging out with Pinkie Pie…
7. >The sun starts to slowly bleed into the room through the open window
8. >You turn and glance to her
9. >She snores loudly on her back, feet in the air, in her onesie pajamas
10. >…well, she IS kinda cute…
11. >…what are you thinking, Femanon!? She’s a p0ny!
12. >…and a girl!
13. >You’re not a lesbian
14. >You mean… well, every girl wonders about their sexual orientation at some point…
15. >…but you got through all of that in high school
16. >No more experimenting
17. >You know you’re straight as an arrow!
18. >…then why that dream…?
19. >You lay on your back and ponder it for so long
20. >Eventually, you can hear a loud, cute yawn from the bed not too far away
21. >Pinkie rolls over and lazily opens her eyes
22. >She catches notice of you
23. >”Oh hey Emmy! I didn’t think YOU’D be up already!”
24. >You bolt your head toward her
25. >You throw on a smile
26. Heh, yeah. Just… you know… early to rise, early to catch the worm…
27. >…or, is it the bagel?
28. >”Well come on!” She shouts as she launches out of bed
29. >Gosh, she has a lot of energy
30. >”Let’s go get some breakfast!”
31. >She springs, up and down, up and down, toward the door
32. >Your eyes kind of wander
33. >She has a pretty nice, fluffy tail…
34. >Attached to a really nice looking—
35. >What the hell is wrong with you!?
36. >You snap yourself out of it
37. >You stand up, throw on your pants, and hook your bra back on
38. Come on, Femanon…
39. >You say to yourself
40. You don’t lust over any horses…
41. >…female horses, for that matter
42. >It was just a dream!
43. >You head downstairs to the kitchen area
44. >Pinkie Pie has already set up an amazing looking platter of muffins and cupcakes
45. >…does her diet consist solely of sugar?
46. >Do diabetes exist in this world?
47. >”Help yourself!” she says with cheer
48. >She dives her head in and takes a large bite out of two or three cupcakes
49. >You giggle a little to yourself as you grab a muffin and nibble on it a little
50. >It’s really delicious
51. >All sweets seem to be way better in this world
52. >You glance over to the pink pone
53. >She’s cheerfully gulping back her delicious baked goods
54. >By the mouthful
55. >You smile to yourself
56. >She’s so cute when she eats…
57. >…
58. >You take a huge bite out of your muffin and try to distract your thoughts
59. >Like, what are you and Fluttershy going to do today?
60. >Maybe go for a walk together somewhere…?
61. >Chat, get to know each other a little more
62. >You’re already pretty close with Pinkie
63. >And you hope to get close with her other friends at the party
64. >…yeah, that sounds good
65. >”Emmy, you gonna eat the rest of that?”
66. >…What?
67. >Pinkie snaps her jaw at your muffin like a crocodile, scarfing it down completely
68. >You’re left speechless
69. >…then, you giggle a little
70. Oh Pinkie…
71. >She swallows the mouthful of treats she has and grins widely
72. >You smile back, and rustle her mane a bit
73. >It’s so soft…
74. >And smells of cotton candy…
75. …A-Anyway, Pinkie, I should be going now. Gotta see Fluttershy and all.
76. >”Okie dokie lokie!” she says, still beaming, “I’ll be seeing you tonight, right?”
77. Of course! I’m so looking forward to it!
78. >”Me too! Me too!” she says, springing up and down again
79. >You laugh
80. >”We’re so alike, Emmy!” she exclaims
81. >She looks over to you and smiles
82. >You smile back
83. >…
84. >Suddenly, she wraps her front hooves around your neck swiftly
85. >You’re caught off guard, and taken by surprise
86. >”I’m so glad I’ve made you as a friend…”
87. >…you shake off your surprise
88. >You wrap your arms around her too, returning the hug
89. >She smells nice…
90. Me too, Pinkie, me too.
91.
92. (They’re pretty human on the inside…)
93. >You think to yourself as you make your way to Fluttershy’s cottage
94. (Could that be why…? But still… she’s a girl…)
95. >You’ve been over this a million times in your head
96. >You just… need to chill out about it
97. >It was one night
98. >You got a little wet
99. >So what?
100. >Everyone has weird dreams where things happen that they don’t want to
101. >Don’t let it occupy your time…
102. >Yeah… just… relax
103. >You approach Fluttershy’s cottage door and knock
104. >There’s a long pause, then some mumbling behind the door before it opens
105. >”Oh, h-h-hi Femanon… y-you’re over e-e-early…”
106. >Wow, like a skipping record
107. Yeah… I thought we could spend the day together going for a walk, or a picnic, or something. You gotta get started on those pretty early, huh?
108. >”Y-Y-…Yes! You’re right, y-you d-do!” she bumbles out
109. >…what’s with this…?
110. Fluttershy, are you… okay?
111. >”O-Of course! Wh-Whatever do you m-mean?”
112. >She glances to the floor, and moves out of the way
113. >You take it as a sign to enter the house
114. >You step in, and continue your conversation
115. Well, you seem a little… nervous.
116. >You look over to her shaking body
117. …or a lot nervous. Something up?
118. >”N-No! Not me!” she smiles widely, “H-How was your s-sleepover? D-Did you sleep o-okay?”
119. >…maybe she’s just living up to her name…
120. …yeah, I slept alright…
121. >You plant yourself down on her couch
122. I mean, I woke up in the middle of the night. Had trouble sleeping after that.
123. >You glance in her direction
124. >…she looks like she’s seen a ghost
125. >”Wh-Wh-Why wouldn’t y-you be able t-to?” she stutters out
126. I had an… odd dream.
127. >Her ears perk up a bit
128. >”Oh, a d-dream? Just a… dream?”
129. Yeah… just a dream. Nothing… noteworthy or anything.
130. >You avert your eyes a little, recalling the embarrassing incident
131. >You think you hear Fluttershy sigh in relief
132. >”…was it… was it a good dream…?”
133. >You look back over to her
134. >She’s smiling a little
135. >And the stuttering seems to have turned down a bit
136. >That’s probably a good sign…
137. …Yeah,
138. >You say, thinking back to the dream
139. >Back to that… tingly sensation
140. …it was a pretty good dream.
141. >You can’t believe you’re admitting that…
142. >”Oh, that’s just wonderful~”
143. >She’s beaming
144. >…huh.
145. >Well, she seems to have relaxed a bit, anyway
146. So how about that walk and picnic?
147. >You ask with a smile
148.
149. >You and Fluttershy go for a lovely stroll through the outer area of the woods
150. >The air is crisp and the day is beautiful
151. >The walk lasts a couple of hours
152. >Neither you or Fluttershy say a whole lot
153. >You both just enjoy the beauty of the land, the majestic nature of the animals, and the gorgeous wildlife
154. >This place is truly a paradise
155. >Once the sun passes midsky and the day ages a bit, you settle down in a nice field, take out the blanket and basket you’ve been carrying, and set up a nice picnic area
156. >Fluttershy takes out a thermos of tea and pours you each a cup
157. >You bring out the sandwiches you prepared and get them ready for eating
158. >And the two of you gleefully sip your hot beverage and snack on your lunch
159. >You gaze off into the vast, blue, Equestrian sky
160. >It’s so different than the sky you’re used to
161. >So colorful, beautiful, and free…
162. >Fluttershy meekly shuffles over to you during your gaze
163. >And kind of cuddles up against your leg as you sit
164. >Her warm fur against your rolled-up, jean-covered leg takes you for a surprise
165. >You glance down to her
166. >She’s blushing like mad and averting her eyes
167. >You giggle a little
168. >Why is that?
169. >You pull her in a little closer
170. >She “eep”s loudly as you do
171.
(Why is that vaguely familiar…?)
172. >She rests her head on your lap
173. >And you begin to pet her
174. >She shudders a bit with each pet
175. >You look down to her and smile
176. >She smiles back
177. >Ah… what a relaxing afternoon…
178. >”Femanon…” Fluttershy squeaks
179. >You look back down to her and smile
180. >And scratch her behind her ears
181. What is it, Shy?
182. >She melts underneath your long, limber, feminine fingers
183. >”Umm… well, *ooh*, I was just *ahh*, wondering about… something…”
184. Hmm? Like what?
185. >You cease your scratching and return to simple petting
186. >”Well, I… I was just wondering… do you… I mean, should… um… oh dear…”
187. >You giggle a little
188. Why so flustered?
189. >You say with a smile and a laugh
190. >”Well…”
191. >She looks like she’s really focusing on what to say
192. >Then exhales a bit of a sigh
193. >”…have you ever had a feeling… a feeling like, something you thought you knew about yourself your whole life… might not be true…?”
194. >…huh?
195. >You shoot her a puzzled expression
196. I’m not sure I follow, Shy…
197. >”Umm…”
198. >She re-adjusts herself a little beside you
199. >You can feel her heartbeat
200. >A quick pitterpatter…
201. >”I… I thought I knew something… about myself… for a long time. Th-Then… recently… I’ve been having… well, um… doubts about it…”
202. >…that’s… odd.
203. …Like what?
204. >”L-Like… well, I… I always thought that… that I was… att—… attrac—… um… oh my…”
205. >She’s blushing up a storm
206. >You giggle a little to yourself
207. >You don’t know what it’s about
208. >But you don’t want her stressing herself over something
209. >You pat her
210. Hey.
211. >She looks up to you
212. Don’t worry about it. You can ask me another time.
213. >You give her a warm smile
214. >A little relief washes over her face
215. >”Oh… thank you, Femanon.”
216. Any time.
217. >You lay back, relax, and enjoy the soft rays of the sun
218. >”…have… have you ever felt that way about something…?”
219. >You open your eyes, and lean up on your elbows
220. >You direct your attention to her
221. About what? Thinking I knew something about myself, then having it change?
222. >She meekly nods
223. Well… sure. I’m sure it’s happened plenty of times.
224. >”Oh…”
225. >She lays in silence for a bit
226. >”H-How about… recently…?”
227. >You glance back over to her
228. Recently?
229. >She again nods
230. >Hmm…
231. >You think it over
232. >…
233. >Oh…
234. >Last night…
235. >The dream… with Pinkie
236. >And the... wetness…
237. >…
238. >”Everything alright…?”
239. >You snap out of it and look at Fluttershy
240. >You must have had a zoned out face of some sort
241. Um… actually… now that you mention it… I think I have…
242. >You don’t really want to admit it to her
243. >…hell, you don’t want to admit it to yourself
244. >But that dream…
245. >That amount of… secretion…
246. >That can’t be a coincidence
247. >And she’s just so…
248. >…
249. >Well, you don’t need to tell Fluttershy exactly what
250. >Based on her expression right now—
251. >--Which seems to be pure joy and relief—
252. >--You don’t even think you need to elaborate anymore
253. >”Oh, I thought so! I was hoping so!”
254. >Hoping so…?
255. What do you mean?
256. >She reopens her joyful eyes
257. >And straightens it out a little bit
258. >”Oh, um… nothing,” she says with a smile
259. >Fluttershy…
260. >This mare…
261. >…she’s an odd one for sure
262. >But sweet
263. If you say so, Shy.
264. >You reply with a smile
265. >She cuddles up again next to you
266. >You happily accept her cuddle
267.
268. >You are now Fluttershy
269. >And you and Femanon had an absolutely wonderful morning and afternoon!
270. >You spent it together, just the two of you
271. >A walk, picnic…
272. >It was almost like… a date…
273. >You blush at the mere thought
274. >Femanon just left, she’s heading over to Sugarcube Corner to prepare for the party
275. >You gaze at her human flank from your window as she leaves
276. >Oh my…~ the way it shakes…~
277. >…oh dear, do you really feel this way?
278. >You still aren’t completely sure…
279. >Although… you felt all those strange emotions when you saw her last night…
280. >Her… chest… and her… oh my~
281. >But you were terrified she saw you when she woke
282. >You barely escaped!
283. >Best of all, she thought it was all a dream
284. >A dream that… she really liked…
285. >Oh, could it really be true…?
286. >She said as much… she said she’s recently felt a change of what she thought true…
287. >Could she really be talking about you…?
288. >…she must!
289. >Who else could she be talking about?
290. >You pace your cottage
291. >Ohh… this uncertainty is killing you…
292. >…
293. >Well… you’re seeing her tonight…
294. >And Applejack is coming…
295. >Surely she’ll bring some of her trademarked cider
296. >…maybe you could work up your courage with that…
297. >…you have to know for sure
298. >You sigh
299. >The very fiber of your being demands it…
300.
301. >You are now Femanon
302. >You’re walking over to Pinkie’s place to help prep for the party
303. >You had a fun day with Fluttershy, but…
304. >…that conversation you had
305. >It’s… sticking with you
306. >Is something you thought you knew about yourself really changing…?
307. >In such a short amount of time…?
308. >…it’s possible, you suppose…
309. >…well, you have to find out for sure
310. >You don’t think you’ll talk to Pinkie about it directly or anything
311. >Heck, that’d probably scare her right off
312. >Just see how you feel around her at the party
313. >Maybe she feels sort of the same?
314. >Maybe she’ll do something about it…?
315. >…hopeful thinking, Femanon
316. >But you need to know
317. >Do you really feel this way?
318. >Or was it some fluke?
319. >You sigh as you approach the building
320. >Funny how rattled you can get over seemingly nothing…
321. >You brace yourself as you enter the door
322. >…well, once you leave here tomorrow
323. >You’ll have answers for yourself
324.
325. End of Part 3
