The imgur link shows what I had in the box.  But i have no hardmount instructions so not sure what parts I should be seeing.

i can email you instructions
Me: That would be good.  If I have the right hardware, not sure how to use it.  That 'U' bracket doesn't match with my bike's hardware mount points
Michael: do you have a 750 dc?
Me: Shadow Spirit 750.  I think that is sometimes called a 'dc'  *shrug*
Looks like it is a DC.  At least from my 5 minute search

if it is a dc we wont have any hardware for it
Me: oh...  crap.   It is a DC.  The bracket mount points  are about and inch too far apart.
Michael: they wont work then unfortunately
Me: But I bought these bags from you because you said they would hard mount to my bike! ugh!

Me: Was just chatting with Michael and chat ended.  I have a 2002 Sprit 750.  After buying bag (Your order ID is #15240) he said it won't fit my bike.   I asked about hardware in image on web page (https://www.vikingbags.com/honda-750-shadow-spirit-charger-braided-motorcycle-saddlebags-6132-prd1.htm) and was waiting to hear back

Andy: This is the new mounting hardware for Honda Shadows, could you tell me why it won't fit?



Me: U brackets don't line up with mount point on my Bike.  Michael a few minutes ago said it won't fit a 2002 Shadow DC.

I guess it fits 'other' Honda Shadow bikes.



Andy: Right actually one point is supposed to go on the bolt above the shock and one point goes on the fender rail.

I'm running out to the bike.  Back in about 10 minutes if you want to wait.  I'll look for other mount points that this U bracket lines up with.

Me: What's your recommended solution?  I bought these bags because they were supposed to fit.  I didn't want any Throw-over solution.

And I don't want to pay an extra $100 when it was supposed to fit!
