Old vs New

Old bloods: Old Bloods are Werewolves, the almost dead race that started it all off. The Old bloods where first made a woman laid with a wolf, causing the offspring to be born a creature of man and lupis. The Old Bloods are much more powerful then their New Blood cousins and are notoriously arrogant. They see New Bloods as their servants, due to the fact that it was the Old Blood bite that created them. Almost immortal, an Old Blood doesn't have much in the way of extra powers expect their unrivaled physical and hunting prowess, whole packs of New Bloods have had problems taking on just a single Old Blood. Old Bloods do not seem to have a natural lifespan.

New bloods: New Bloods are shifters, originally made to be the servants of the Old Bloods as their bite converted victims into shifters. Mongrels as they was known to their masters. They make up the general population of the bloods, rebelling against their Old Blood masters in a long and bloody history that has left the two at ends. Most shifters are born these days, due to the lack of an Old Blood population and form packs must like their forefathers did. A shifter is capable of holding extra powers, but in terms of brute strength pale in comparison to the beasts of legend. Some have mutated to take on the shape of other predators such as panthers.
