Masked Rider Kick Hopper II: Marco Diaz 9!

>Marco and Star whooped as the kicked the crap out of Ludo's minions, Star Blasting and Marco kicking.
>"Rider Jump!" Marco roared as he gave a jumping uppercut to the Giraffe minions, knocking the tall monster onto his allies in the process.
>"Sparkling Riot Demon Laser!" Star cried, blasting the downed monsters and leaving them slightly crispy.
>The duo high fived, only to be caught in the beefy arms of one of Ludo's stronger minions.
>But before they could break free a voice cried "JUSTICE CRASH!" seconds before a bicycle smashed into the Monster's face.
>Dropping them in a daze the monster took a few teetering steps before falling over unconscious.
>"What the heck was that!?" a confused Ludo screeched.
>"The Unofficial Rider!" a helmeted figure called, his eyes obscured by thick cycling goggles "Mumen Rider!"
>"Another Rider?" Star asked curiously as Ludo and his minions beat a hasty retreat, looking at the armored teen.
>"Ano-" Mumen Rider said before catching sight of the Still armored Marco "Mar- I mean, Fellow hero!" the teen cheered.
>Looking at the armored teen, Marco's eyes widened. "Gustav!?" He asked excitedly.
>Mumen Rider groaned, "you've seen right through my disguise!" he complained, pulling down his goggles before taking off his helmet to reveal a head of messy strawberry blond hair.
>Marco disengaged his armor before hugging his armored friend "It's been years!" he said "Meet Star, our current Exchange student!" Marco introduced.
>Star looked between the two riders "You two know eachother?" she asked curiously.
>Mumen Rider laughed "I stayed with them acting like I was from Scandinavia, they saw right through me." slinging an arm over Marco's shoulder "My Real name's Charlie" he explained before holding a hand out to Star "Nice to meet you!".
>Star smiled, Taking his hand and shaking it "I'm a magical princess from another dimension!" she returned
>"Okay" Charlie said accepting Star's strange story.
>"what're you doing here?" Marco asked, Curious as to why his old friend was in town.
>"I'm going to all the places I was a "foreign exchange student" at to apologize for lying before I head back home to Open my restaurant!" he explained happily, "Most of them already knew though" he added as an afterthought.
>"That's great!" Marco said "but what's up with the "Mumen Rider" thing?" He asked curiously.
>"I was inspired by your heroics!" Charlie exposited "Seeing you taking down robbers and helping those in need inspired me!" hhe declared, causing Marco to blush.
>"aww, C'mon" Marco said as he waved his hand "I'm not that big a deal" He rambled.
>"Don't be so humble Marco, you're awesome!" Star chirped.
>from there they went to Casa de Diaz, chatting about adventures old and new.
>"People turning into monsters?" a concerned sounding Charlie asked.
>"Yep! Marco took out the first one on his own and then we teamed up to take out the second!" Star whooped "Janna's been looking into them ever since one attacked her too, so we're all working together" she explained.
>Charlie whistled "I've mostly been catching purse snatchers and saving kittens from trees" he said "but if I bump into anything like you've talked about I'll give you a call, okay?" The Unofficial Rider confirmed.
>"Sounds good!" Marco replied as he opened the door "Mom, Dad, We're home!" He called
>"Hello Marco!" Mrs. Diaz called "Hello Sta-" she began to say only to gasp when she saw Charlie "Charlie!" she cheered happily, running up to give the boy a hug "what brings you to the neighborhood?" She asked curiously after letting him out of the hug
>"Just passing through, I'm visiting all the families I stayed with!" he replied in a chipper voice "My Restaurant's going to open next month and I wanted to thank everyone before I started my business up!" Charlie explained
>"Well, I insist that you at least stay the night" Mrs. Diaz said happily "we'll throw a party in celebration of your restaurant!" and so it was
>late into the night the group partied, sharing stories and eating food and when it was well in the night, heading off to bed.
>Star awoke in the middle of the night, needing a drink. as she walked to the bathroom a voice drifted up from below.
>"-Rider here, C-Class Hero" Charlie said into his cellphone "Illegal Hero Kamen Rider Kick Hopper isn't aware of the scope of what he's involved in, and the appearance of a second Illegal Hero is confirmed, Kick Hopper can probably be convinced to join, but his accomplice and the unknown Illegal hero will probably resist, I'd suggest sending a A-Class Hero to confront them once they're all together" He explained, unaware that Star was listing in on him.
>the plucky princess covered her mouth to stifle a gasp 'Marco's an illegal hero?' she asked herself while also wondering who the second illegal hero was.
>Star was tempted to rush to Marco's room and tell him right away, but realized that could lead to trouble, Star sneaked back to her room and hoped that Marco would believe her.
>As soon as Charlie had left Star had dragged Marco off, making sure they were alone before beginning to speak "Charlie was spying on us!" She said in a panicked voice.
>"What!?" Marco replied in a flabbergasted tone
>"I heard him on the phone last night, he was talking to someone about you and calling you an "Illegal Hero"!" Star explained
>"I'm having a hard time believing that Star." Marco deadpanned "Me and Charlie were like best friends" he said with a tone of finality.
>"Marco, I think you and that other Rider are in trouble!" Star pleaded
>But Marco refused to believe her "Star, this isn't funny!" he yelled.
>Star was frustrated at Marco's refusal to believe her "It's not a joke!" She yelled back.
>Marco's resolve seemed to crack "But, we're friends" he almost mumbled
>Star sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder "and I'm your bestie" she said "Why would I lie?" her empathetic question finally seemed to get past Marco's denial causing him to break away from her.
>"I need some time to think" Marco said before walking away, not seeing Star reaching out for him with a hurt expression.
