- Hello all,
- I have a particularly tough fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue case. My practice partner and I have been working him up for years and have tried almost everything without much help.
- One thing we haven't tried is a genetic medicine approach. On patient request we want to start looking into this. I have taken Dr. Lynch's courses and have studied a bit on my own and feel relatively good with methylation pathway but not much else.
- I had him run the methylation and detox pathways through genetic genie for a start. MTHFRs look fine (all wide type homozygous). Only homozygous on genie's methylation panel is MTRRA66G and CBS C699T. On genies' detox panel homozygous for CYP2D6 S486T.
- Is there any other SNPs in particular you guys look at for fibro? (and yes I know this is an overgeneralization but I'm looking for any leads for him)
- Thanks!

- Run it through Sterlings app - There are more SNPs described on that- I would look at the mitochondrial SNPs on that.
- I'm sure you've checked him for Lyme, right?
