**Object Class:** Safe

**Special Containment Procedures:** SCP-552 is to be contained in a high-capacity containment vault, located in Site-77's Safe SCP wing. The area SCP-552 was discovered in has been purchased by Foundation front organizations, with all nearby buildings being demolished.

**Description:** SCP-552 is a ███ ███████ brand portable car wash, manufactured in 1999. The exterior is painted blue, with a logo for the gas station it was discovered by printed on the left side. SCP-552's interior components match those found in other ███ ███████ brand portable car washes.

When a vehicle enters SCP-552 while it is in an active state, it may be displaced to a random location within 20 kilometers of SCP-552. The location SCP-552 displaces these vehicles to is usually an area with a large amount of water, such as the inside of a cloud or the bottom of a lake. These displacements will usually last between 10 and 30 seconds, after which the vehicle is returned to SCP-552.

Occasionally, vehicles displaced by SCP-552 may be transplanted to a seemingly random location. These locations will usually consist of farms, restrooms, car dealerships and automobile races. These incidents will last only a few seconds before returning to SCP-552. Displacements such as this will occur very infrequently, with only 7 cases recorded prior to containment.

Receipts printed after displacement may have a message from SCP-552 printed on the back. (See Addendum 552-A).

SCP-552 was discovered after reports of vehicles appearing within a cloud was reported by passengers on a civillian aircraft. Initially classified as an Extranormal event, further investigation was conducted after reports of a vehicle appearing on the ███████ military testing course reached Foundation assets in the U.S army. SCP-552 was classified as an anomaly after drivers in SCP-552 affected vehicles contacted local military officials. A cover story regarding local pranksters was disseminated, with SCP-552 being classified as Safe on 11/17/1987.

**Incident 552-1:** During testing on 11/16/2002, a vehicle displaced by SCP-552 did not reappear. No report of vehicles suddenly appearing which matched the displaced vehicles appearance have been found, and as of 4/14/2009 has not reappeared. The receipt message printed by SCP-552 has been made available in this report.
