Stages Prior to start of Operation

    To free up necessary resources for an offensive the British and Dutch will begin a slow withdraw from Southern Haiti and eventually fall back to Tiburon. First withdrawing from Bani and Barrahona and relocating to Jacmel and continue the withdraw as deemed appropriate by the War Council. All ships will need to be out of Bani by Friday, August 26th.
    It is recommended that British Forces to set up an outpost at Georgetown with 1st and 4th rates to stage from. If would be recommended to retake Little Cayman and necessary to hold Southern Cuba until Saturday, August 27th.
    All British, Dutch, and United States forces will need to have an outpost set up in Tulum, or Tumbado prior to Saturday August 27th. It is necessary for all players to have outpost in these 2 ports for the stage 1 of the operation to occur on Saturday August 27th. A fleet of 1st rates, 2 fleets of 4th rates, and a fleet of 6th rates will be needed at these ports, and can be coordinated among the 3 nations on which ships to have.


Stage One

    If the British can hold onto Southern Cuba until Saturday, August 27th, and given the trend of the Spanish attack so far they will more than likely make another assault on those ports. The British will not defend those ports for the day of the operation.
    All British, Dutch, and United States Forces need to stage in the Port of Xpu Ha at 1930 UTC on Saturday August 27th with a 1st rate fleet, 1-2 4th rate fleets, and a 6th rate fleet. (The ships in Tumbado should possibly stay in port until the flag is pulled and could possibly blockade the ports of Conttoy and Mugeres. )
    At 1955 UTC, the British will pull flags for every Spanish port that is open on the 1800-2000 server window. Five minutes later the British will also pull all available Spanish flags that are open on the 2000-2200 server window.
    The Main objective for this attack will be to capture the ports of Mantua, Corrientes, Conttoy, and Mugeres.
    The fleet will then depart from Xpu Ha and proceed north to Conttoy and Mugeres where the shallow water fleet and one of the 4th rate fleets will begin their assault on those ports. The 1st rate fleet and 2nd 4th rate fleet will then proceed to the northern point of Corrientes Bay in which the 4th rate fleet will move on Mantua and the 1st rates of Corrientes to begin their assault. (If time is permitted I would suggest the 1st rate fleet to escort the 4th rate fleet into Mantua.)
    Any and all ports captured should be set to North American or Australian timers in which both British North American players and United States players will be committed to defend.


Stage Two

    With the capture of the four ports in stage one, Stage Two will be the capture of Baja by Australian forces augmented by additional ships from players of other time zones.
    The United State Forces in coordination with the British for pulling flags will proceed from Tordo south clearing the Spanish out of the Gulf.


Key Objectives

    Baja and Mantua. These two ports are the closest Spanish ports to La Habana that produce teak and Live Oak wood. The only other Spanish port that produced these wood types that are within 20 minutes sail of the La Habana are shallow water ports and it is extremely difficult to haul wood in shallow water traders. The capture of these two port would make it very hard for the Spanish to produce ships. These port is captured should be set on the 0200-0400 or 0400-0600 server time for North American players to defend.
    Corrientes, Conttoy, and Mugeres. These ports are necessary for the defense of our line as we continue offensive operations. Corriente if captured should be set to 0200-0400 or 0400-0600 for defense and Conttoy and Mugeres should be set to the 1000 server time.
