- Puck stood in the doorway, watching for anyone who might be coming. Takizawa loomed over the body of the guard blocking it previously, drooling. He growled before digging into his flesh and ripping apart chunks to devour.
- Puck shuddered at the sound of the bones cracking and skin ripping away. He was used to being around death. He was a ghost, after all. But... ghouls were different. Maybe it was the excessive methods that Takizawa himself used to kill. Maybe it was the fact he was eating the corpses. It didn't really matter. But it made Puck's stomach turn nonetheless.
- After a minute or so, Takizawa stood back up, wiping the blood off of his chin with the sleeve of his cloak and licking it off. When he backed away, he snarled at the remnants of the body and chuckled to himself. He started walking out and nodded at Puck to follow him.
- "... What's it like?" Puck asked.
- "Eh?" Takizawa craned his head back to him. Puck shuffled his feet.
- "To eat humans," he continued. "It just... seems like it'd be kinda gross." Takizawa laughed.
- "It's great!" He beamed. "Everything tastes awesome. I'm strong. It's amazing!" Takizawa broke into a fit of giggles. Puck stopped behind him, then walked up to his side. Takizawa calmed down and turned to him. He tentatively pet Puck's head and started walking again.
- "... Why do you ask?" Takizawa said after a pause.
- "I dunno, I just," Puck replied, "I'm just... curious, is all. It always seemed... kinda gross. I guess." Takizawa grunted and hid his face in his cloak.
- "Yeah... gross..." he muttered to himself.
- "Did I... say something?" Puck asked.
- "Nothing," Takizawa snapped. "You didn't say anything. Just... thought back to some stuff."
- He turned around, putting on a grin.
- "But that's not fun for me right now," he said. He leaned down and pressed his black lips to Puck's forehead. "Come on. Boss's gonna be mad if we don't get back now, won't she?"
- "Y-yeah... guess she won't."
