  2. Narrator has connected.
  3. Actinidia has connected.
  4. Narrator: I'm gonna be up all night.
  5. DNA: Coffee?
  6. Narrator: I fucking slept all day when I got home.
  7. DNA: Ah
  8. Narrator: I dunno how but I was like, "I'm home. Sweaty. I'm gonna shower."
  9. Narrator: And fell asleep IN THE SHOWER.
  10. Narrator: And got out and was like, "I'mma lie down and watch some anime."
  11. DNA: Neat trick. Never tell me how to do it.
  12. Narrator: Damn t.v. never even made it on.
  13. Narrator: That's been my week.
  14. Narrator: My job has been demanding this week. Godsdamn people.
  15. Grace has connected.
  16. Narrator: GRACE!
  17. Narrator: WE HAVE BEEN SA---Wait, where's Ava?
  18. Grace: MEOW Wait wot?
  19. Narrator: Ava might have fallen asleep.
  20. Narrator: Nope. Got her.
  21. Grace: Noice
  22. Narrator: Okay. She's gathering dindin's and will be here shortly.
  23. Narrator: Now to read what you guys put
  24. Boom Box: "You know I got you
  25. I know you got me
  26. Boom Box: We got time to just
  27. Play things freely, that's life."
  28. Boom Box: "And living it easy."
  29. Boom Box: "You can show me scars
  30. And I'll show you mine
  31. Boom Box: We count the stars
  32. Just to pass the time."
  33. Boom Box: "Lights, lost in ages."
  34. Boom Box: "And I believe, you're honest eyes.
  35. And you'll be my sight, we'll be just fine."
  36. Boom Box: "You got two shoes on
  37. Friends like family
  38. Boom Box: Make you smile yeah can
  39. Make you happy in time."
  40. Boom Box: "We're living it easy."
  41. Boom Box: "We could find a life
  42. Somewhere far away
  43. Boom Box: In a dream you had
  44. That we'd live one day."
  45. Grace Leonhardt: Guuuuuuuuys... the radio's on again
  46. Boom Box: "Yeah, living it easy."
  47. Boom Box: "And I believe, you're honest eyes.
  48. And you'll be my sight, we'll be just fine."
  49. Boom Box: "Take my hand, we'll run away
  50. Run till the sand meets sea.
  51. Avara has connected.
  52. Boom Box: Trust me, it's what we've planned
  53. Boom Box: These games won't last forever
  54. Take my hand, this is our last time."
  55. Boom Box: "Time to take a chance with me."
  56. DNA: What's the check involved to figure out which direction the signal is coming from? Or is it a matter of moving the radio around and checking how clear the signal is?
  57. DNA: Because I have no idea what's going on.
  58. Grace: It's that or looking for billboards for local ads for it
  59. Grace: That or even just trying to spot towers and investigating places that have them.
  60. Boom Box: "Alright, alright, alright! That's Be Just Fine. Uh, composed by...Richardson and Macklin. Voiced by Delarre."
  61. Narrator: I don't know if its possible to lose radio signal in DC.
  62. DNA: Do I know any of those 3 names?
  63. Narrator: Hm. I never really LIKED this use in D&D.
  64. Narrator: But, sure. Give me a Cunning test.
  65. Pierce Mars Oswell: Cunning (no focus) 3+4+2+1=10
  66. DNA: I couldn't figure out what test that would go under either.
  67. DNA: I also do not remember if said names have been mentioned.
  68. Narrator whispers: You recognize the first two names as composers and the later is, yeah, a vocalist. Though those fuckers forgot to mention Ford. Also a composer to Indie Folk.
  69. Grace Leonhardt: Grace tries to recall who those names are to as well. 3+3+2+4=12 (STUNT! 3 Stunt Points)
  70. Narrator whispers: You recall that the instruments used in Be Just Fine were acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, snare drum and glockenspiel. And I guess female vocal. If you consider that an instrument.
  71. Narrator whispers: Be Just Fine was an Indie Folk song used in the XSeries Music.
  72. Etna: I'll throw my dice in as well.
  73. Etna: 3+5+2+0=10
  74. Etna: "Whoever's doing this can't readd the labels, or they'd have kept in Ford. Hmm..."
  75. Avara: are there any city maps of DC in the former-the-white-house?
  76. Narrator: I recall you all doing a sweep through the place for such things when you first arrived.
  77. DNA: Sounds vaguely familiar. I feel like we couldn't read them or something?
  78. Avara: we still might be able to recognize visuals. like an area without a lot of tall buildings, with a thin tall thingy in the middle. like radio towers.
  79. Grace Leonhardt: "I was about to say. Though that's somewhat interesting to think about. So at the very least, that means they're familiar with the music and how to work the stuff?"
  80. Narrator: Yes. You might've been able to do that.
  81. Narrator: But you uh, gave them away. If I recall.
  82. Narrator: I realize I didn't exactly note this. Luckily there hasn't been too many sessions so I can just do a ctrl+f on a few docs
  83. Avara: oops. well, butts.
  84. Avara: i guess we'll just have to go look out the windows on the second story, or higher if we can go higher, and try to see radio towers from there.
  85. DNA: Etna! You're the tallest one!
  86. Avara: how about while i do that, the others talk with hjadvir (sp?) about spokesmoning
  87. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will try to look for dad snek for that exact reason.
  88. DNA: A fine idea
  89. Actinidia: Actinidia follows.
  90. Narrator: Okay yes. Session 11. You guys already did a search for things.
  91. Narrator: They were either too damaged or you couldn't read anything and decided to make floor plans of your own for the White House.
  92. Avara: alright
  93. Avara: ... man, it's been a lot longer than i realized.
  94. Narrator: This is session 22.
  95. Avara: had a feeling it was around there
  96. Grace: I think they mean getting on top and looking for radio towers.
  97. Narrator: So, what exactly is Etna doing here?
  98. Narrator: And I guess while she figures that out, Grace was looking around for Hjadvir?
  99. Actinidia: Etna is trying to get to the highest point in the white house to look for radio towers (or anything else obviously interesting for that matter).
  100. Actinidia: Grace and Actinidia are together.
  101. Narrator: She'll need to give me some Strength (Climbing) tests to see if she can get up there.
  102. DNA: Mars is tagging along with Grace.
  103. Avara: she's going onto the roof (from what i hear snipers can nest up there, so it might be accessible), or the highest floor she can access, and she's using her eyes or any scopes up there to scan the horizon for radio towers and advertisement billboards that look radio station-y.
  104. Grace Leonhardt: Ye that's about right. Grass mom snek, metal juggernaut hamster, and punchy shy anubis are gonna try to find dad snek.
  105. Narrator: If you recall, there were several cave-ins for the building. So any nests that may have been surely aren't there now. The accessibility of 'up' is better suited to flyers or wall walkers. But you can still make the attempt to climb it with a Strength (Climbing) test. Probably several.
  106. Etna: 2+6+1+2=11
  107. Narrator: And the trio can give me a Perception (Searching) test.
  108. Actinidia: 5+4+4+1=14
  109. Pierce Mars Oswell: 4+3+1+3=11
  110. Etna attempts to scale the walls to try and reach a high enough elevation to look about. She finds that, even when slanted, the smooth walls makes for a tough climb and is unable to make any ground.
  111. Avara: can i use the power of Being A Rock Type to move rubble around to make makeshift stairs?
  112. Grace Leonhardt: 6+5+3+1=15
  113. Narrator: You do not possess the ability to levitate rocks. I'm not sure any pokemon actually does. Stealth rock creates rocks if that's gonna be brought up.
  114. Narrator: Though if you know any techniques that creates them, or something similar, by all means.
  115. Avara: theeeen can i use E-Strike Ice to make a staircase? with rounded edges on the stairs, and the steps tilted upward a bit, so you'd slip towards the staircase instead of away if you lose balance?
  116. Grace: Oh sheeet, Etna's trying to let it go up in here
  117. Narrator: Now I'm debating how much I'll regret it later if I say "yes".
  118. Avara: :3
  119. Actinidia: The best way to say "maybe" was make it a crafting check that lets her use Ice Accuracy focus and no materials.
  120. Actinidia: But is temporary.
  121. Narrator: That's totes not how crafting works.
  122. DNA: And now I sit back and watch the fireworks.
  123. Narrator: I just double checked Ground and Rock mastery to ensure this isn't something either does.
  124. Narrator: Rock is KIND OF but not really.
  125. Narrator: So, here's what I'll do. If you're trying to createa staircase out of your e-strike I will allow it. All the other e-strikes do ltierally create what their type is. E-strike fire is literally fire. E-strike water is literally water. So I'd feel like a dick if I said no.
  126. Narrator: But, just blasting rocks into a makeshift staircase will end up making a bunch of rocks that'll just roll down and murder you. So you'll have to do it well and that means CRAFTING.
  127. Actinidia: Actually, novice fire mastery lets you make a flame.
  128. Avara: i'm uisng Ice, not Rock.
  129. Narrator: It does. And isn't really the same.
  130. Avara: hence the tilt.
  131. Narrator: Lemme double read
  132. Narrator: Okay I saw where I misread. But same principle. It'll still be a crafting test.
  133. Narrator: And yeah, any ice focus will assist you here. But as a crafting thing, to the literal roof of the building, it'll take a while. And I'll let you decide ice or rock. The ice will melt eventually - the rocks won't. Whether or not that's a benefit or detriment to you is up to you.
  134. Narrator: Crafting takes a minimum of 6 hours and can be performed once a day. The advanced test TN is 11 and the threshold is 4.
  135. Avara: hmm.
  136. Avara: i'll go rocks.
  137. Avara: so no focus bonus, but more stability.
  138. Narrator: Which makes this a 3d6+acc test.
  139. Avara: thankuu
  140. Etna: 3+4+4+4=15
  141. Actinidia, Grace and Mars all go lookin for Hjadvir.
  142. Avara: if there was a way to stunt myself into having one extra point of Threshold, i'd be a winner.
  143. Narrator: Aaaaand that's just shy of completing the staircase fully. And after blasting rocks together with your e-strike for six hours you're all tuckered out of crafting it today. Or frustrated. Or both. I dunno.
  144. Actinidia, Grace and Mars walk into a bar---
  145. DNA: And Grace says ouch?
  146. Grace: And mars walks through it?
  147. DNA: And Actinidia tries to seduce it?
  148. Actinidia is the first to find Hjadvir with Grace nearly stumbling into Actinidia to point this out as well. Hjadvir is found sitting atop Slen's shop watching all of the snakes work, relax or train and tutor. He seems content but sad.
  149. Actinidia: "Is something wrong, Hjadvir?"
  150. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) is startled some when Actinidia speaks to him. He settles when he see's her and looks distantly at his people.
  151. Hjadvir (The Father): "This change in the world, for myself and so many others, was wonderful. A sort of blessing. But it comes at a price that I'm not sure could ever be paid without ire."
  152. Actinidia: "What price is that?
  153. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) turns fully to Actinidia, "You're one of those from the pre-world. Where such a change is not in your favour. How you must feel then, I wonder?"
  154. Actinidia: "Oh, of course that change. I was worried you were talking about the changes we made to your clan." Actinidia hastily explained. She grew quiet as she reflected back on things. "...I was a drifter. I lived in a camper. I didn't have the established life others do, even my friends. Of course I'm sad for all those who died, but to me it feels like I'm hearing about a disaster from somewhere distant. Like when I hear about a huricane while in Montana. It doesn't really affect me. It's just something new, and I spend a lot of my life chasing new things."
  155. Grace Leonhardt: "It was... something surreal to be honest. Things beforehand are much different than they are now. The city... cities now I suppose, were where humans were the biggest threat and even then that was very slim. The place we're now? It used to be one of the most secure in the world. It's... surreal to see it in the state that it's in now, as well as us being and... well living in it."
  156. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will freak out a touch at the mention of things existing outside of DC, and worries about the state of her home and family... though she takes a deep breath and choses to worry about what she can affect... for now. "That... and well, things were kinda stable in what we knew of the future. No one truely knew, but things could be layed out... now? it's... a 100% unknown, and I've yet to decide if that's worrying or not."
  157. Actinidia: "Grace..." Actinidia's shoulders sunk. Then she reached in to hug Grace.
  158. Actinidia: "I'm so sorry for what you have to go through. What all of you do. I wish there was something I could do."
  159. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars addresses Hjadvir directly. "...Honestly, the only thing I've had on my mind lately is to get back to my friends and family. I don't know how they're holding up and I want-no, need to know. I try not to think about anything else. ...But what scares me the most is the prospect I might...well...gradually turn into a monster."
  160. Grace Leonhardt: Grace was kinda caught off guard. She wasn't really feeling much when stating what was coming to mind, but she didn't really do anything to turn down the hug. "Hey hey... we're all going through it. We made it this far, let's just keep soldiering on... And yeah... same here Mars... Same here."
  161. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) nods to everyone as they speak and tilts his head toward Mars, "I wonder if that's how most humans feel. That they're monsters now."
  162. Hjadvir (The Father): "I've caught wind of your discussions on the Seekers. And resentment toward human children."
  163. Hjadvir (The Father): "Mars, do you hate the humans that are still human?"
  164. Pierce Mars Oswell: "What do you mean? Do I hate the children?"
  165. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... to be honest, we went from top of the food chain, and the only ones up there, to... being changed into things all across the board. It's hard to accept for some." She'll be silent curious about Mars's response.
  166. Hjadvir (The Father): "Not necessarily the children themselves. The humans that are still human. I honestly think the fact they're children may not even register to those who want to kill them."
  167. Pierce Mars Oswell: "No, I don't hate them. Quite the opposite, actually - I want to protect them by any means necessary. Any means necessary."
  168. Hjadvir (The Father): "For creatures like me, this is a blessing. I'm able to do more, be more and communicate more. I can make something now. But for those that feels like this is a curse...and then to see others who are still human, how that must feel I wonder?"
  169. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... that's the thing about humans... well... was. In general, with a population in the billions, if you can think of a personality, it exists for someone probably... for better or worse."
  170. Grace Leonhardt: "We were big ol' chunks of wood ready to be sculped into whatever."
  171. Actinidia: "I... did come into conflict with a child. And I was so angry that I kind of forgot. I saw that child causing the deaths of others. I was disapointed, infuriated. I was offended that he was the new face of human-kind."
  172. * Pierce Mars Oswell 's gaze flicks towards Actinidia at the mention of that statement. But he hurriedly returns his eye contact back to Hjadvir.
  173. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will be a touch uncertain of how to feel, considering she was something in the new vein, albe a touch less angry. More unsure for the remaining humans than angry.
  174. Hjadvir (The Father): "That's just kind of where my thoughts have been. This world is new and new is dangerous. People are still figuirng out who they are. What they are and I am sure many are wondering why."
  175. Hjadvir (The Father): "For those like myself, the why is less important. We are more. And are better for it and it becomes more of what we do with this and those we spawn than to dwell on it."
  176. Hjadvir (The Father): "But those SoT's, they question the why. The how. And seek to undo this. It would be a detriment to those like myself and while I feel for the current state of affairs the humans are now in, I do not wish to return to being locked in a tiny fishtank."
  177. Hjadvir (The Father): "Thus, I was trying to understand why so many other groups would form. What their motivations would be. Their goals. And how I could uhm, throw a wrench into their works? I think that is the saying."
  178. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Spanner in the works, but that's just another word for a wrench. Yeah, you got it."
  179. Hjadvir (The Father): "But we owe much to you and I began to think that you might also favour the works of the uh, SoT's."
  180. Grace Leonhardt: "We're more neutral on the other groups. Like you've said, we... don't really have much of a care for the why at the moment like they do. Though a cease fire, peaceful contact, or possibly even something of trading shouldn't be turned down."
  181. Grace Leonhardt: "Except those that are after blood... those you need to get them the hell away from here."
  182. Actinidia: "Yes and no. I want to know what happened. I do not want it undone. This event, whatever it is, has created people. And undoing that is, basically, killing them. What tragedies have happened have... well... happened. The order is shuffled and some of us aren't as on top as we're used to. But to bring and end to literally everyone else to benefit what is now a minority of people, I can't stand behind that."
  183. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'm not really concerned with the 'why' everything is like this. What's important to me is what I can do right now to help. Changing everyone back won't really fix the problems. And I can't really pledge my support to people who just ignore the plight of children."
  184. Actinidia: "I would call myself an ally to Order."
  185. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh jeez... I didn't even think of that act. Undoing what happend would just... oof..."
  186. Pierce Mars Oswell: "The Seekers of Truth can do whatever they want. As long as they don't pick fights I won't get in their way, but I'm not going to stand next to them."
  187. Actinidia: "If I had my own side... I would be a Seeker of Equilibrium. As long as we're going to be pokemon, we may as well strive to see the idyllic world of the franchise. I want the dust to settle with as many lives saved as we can, human and pokemon."
  188. Avara: the Seekers of Truth are Sort of Twerps.
  189. Grace Leonhardt: "Heheh.. personally, I'd just drop the Seeker part. But I definitely agree with you act."
  190. Actinidia: "If Seeker gets us respect and legitimacy, then I say we claim it. We could also do something like Seekers of the New World."
  191. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Seekers of Hope rolls off the tongue pretty well. But what do I know?"
  192. Actinidia: "Seekers of Hope..."
  193. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh uh, fair enough. Though that does have a nice ring to it..."
  194. Actinidia: "I like it."
  195. Etna: Etna walks over to the others, stretching her limbs a bit as she walks. "Seekers of Hope... I think that'll work."
  196. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Oh! Etna, when'd you get back?"
  197. Etna: "Been listening for a bit. I'm using today to try and make a staircase that goes from the ground floor to the roof."
  198. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh! Yeah, we've been thinking of having our own faction so we're not annexed or something by one of the other factions or something."
  199. Actinidia: "Etna!" Actinidia smiled, "I was hoping you could join us. We're getting a lot of feelings out into the open, which I think all of us could use."
  200. * Etna looks to Hjadvir. "About the Seeker groups... I seriously doubt this can be undone easily. And I don't want it undone. Yeah, I miss my old body now and then. I'd be happier if I was changed into something with hands. But... my view is pretty simple."
  201. Hjadvir (The Father): "I'm relieved that you wish for this world to persist and for the better."
  202. Etna: Etna lowers her head, so she's closer to eye-level with the people she's talking to.
  203. Etna: "You are my people. My... pack, clan, pride, whatever term you like. Defending you, ensuring you have the chance to live and be happy. That's my purpose. Simple."
  204. Actinidia: "Are you... happy with that Etna?"
  205. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... what's the point if we're going to go at eachother for nothing? We're better than being mindless... and well... human's mindset has been seen to be stuborn as all hell throughout history."
  206. Grace Leonhardt: "Etna..." Grace will comment, touched by her words... a bit more than she expected.
  207. Etna: "I'm happy when I see my people getting better. Smarter, more capable, improving their quality of life and quality of self." Etna lets out a sigh of mixed feelings, thinking about Ura in particular. "I can't do anything about the body I have, but I can make the most of it."
  208. Etna: "Besides. While I did lose things..." Etna demonstrates her make-things-powers with a bit of amateur ice statue-ing. "I gained as well."
  209. Etna: "My worldview's always been pretty simple. I care about my friends and myself getting to be safe and happy. I put that before anything else, when we Changed. It's staying my top priority, no matter what."
  210. Etna: "The Seekers of Truth aren't our friends. They will never have my support, because of what they want to destroy just to move back. After what's happened, believing everything will just go back to perfect little peaceful society just because we change our bodies back is naive and idiotic. Nothing will ever be the same. They're just running from the inconvenient truth."
  211. Etna: "The Seekers of Order have respectable aims, but their priorities and mine don't align. They protect human children by any means and without any regard to cost. I... have to put my people first. I can't not. Even if I'll hate myself later."
  212. Etna: "But I do Hope that we can restore peace to the world with a new structure. Using the Pokemon media as a basis, like Act's been saying, is a good start."
  213. Actinidia: Actinidia smiled, "It feels like a long time since I heard one of your speeches. Was it really only a few days ago you swayed this crowd of sperpents ot our side?"
  214. Etna: "... Hm. It really hasn't been that long, has it? It already feels natural, though, to think of everyone here as pack."
  215. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Hope, huh..."
  216. Hjadvir (The Father): "Seekers of Hope. That does sound nice. Did you need me for something, though?"
  217. Actinidia: "That reminds me. The reason we came looking Hjadvir."
  218. Actinidia: "We need a spokesperson while we are out. Someone who can speak on our behalf. It's why Slen had to wait for us and will cause more problems in the future if we don't."
  219. Etna: "We need someone to lead the pack while we're on missions, and to talk for us if people come by to talk, or... whatever other non-violent aims."
  220. Etna: We need someone to trust with things when we're not around. You're the first person I thought of, and I wanted to know if you want the position."
  221. Hjadvir (The Father): "No, I don't want it." Hjadvir (The Father) sighs, "Should be obvious when I blindly followed Onix into the mess he created. We were lucky when you came."
  222. Hjadvir (The Father): (( she ))
  223. Etna: "Do you know of anyone in the group you'd trust the task to?"
  224. Hjadvir (The Father): "I won't be able to make the decisions you have to. But if you promise me to come and talk to me whenever you return, I'll take it."
  225. Hjadvir (The Father): "I want to be sure that I'm doing things as you would have. I don't want to change the image you see of our people and I don't want to work against your design. I believe in what you see of everyone but I get caught up in the details. I mean, I'm sitting on Slen's shop just staring at our people wondering what pre-worlds think and understanding the minds of our eventual adversaries or allies."
  226. Hjadvir (The Father): "You guys? You're doers. You do. You get shit done. You move with action and passion simultaneously with thoughts like mine. It's inspiring."
  227. Slen: Slen poked his head out of the shop and waved to you guys, "Yep. I'm still here."
  228. Etna: "Of course. It wouldn't be without support or direction." Etna takes a moment to wave a foot at Slen. "We'd want to talk about whatever happened while we're out when we get back, make sure you're fully aware of our plans and intentions before we leave, and any changes that might come along. We also... if we can work out the technical bits. Might try and recreate some of the devices humans used. Some that let people talk to each other over long distances, so you can contact us when something comes up."
  229. Slen: Slen pokes his head out of the window, "Oh yeah, about that. Places are starting to lose power. Or...things. I know I tried to cell phones for things like light, music, distractions, that sort of thing. Worked for the first few days but they just sort of...stopped working? Wouldn't even charge anymore. When there was power, I didn't try it without electricity."
  230. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) looked at Slen with concern, "I don't know what all that meant." Hjadvir (The Father) turns back to Etna, "As long as we can do that I'll take the position."
  231. Actinidia: "It means that old human technology is failing. So we can't just find some walkie talkies."
  232. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Cell phones no longer charging? That's...weird." He hmm'd a bit to himself but probably didn't get far in the thought.
  233. Etna: "We'd need to do those things for anyone that took the position, so yeah. We'll do it. If it doesn't work out, we'll find another option."
  234. Etna: "Hmm. Well... we're already all throwing around this arcane energy type that never existed before, right? Creating matter, or converting it from the air, or whatever. Breaking all the rules the old world ran by."
  235. Etna: "It's not surprising other stuff's changing too. Not sure how much it'll change, but... we should prepare for any eventuality."
  236. Actinidia: "Should we try and figure out how to make a phone run on pokemon energy?"
  237. Etna: "I mean, I'm spending my day ordering the worldd to make rocks and fit them into place for a staircase, so... yeah. Things aren't normal."
  238. Etna: "Yeah, that might be good. I remember some Pokemon stuff showing, like, Voltorbs powering machines."
  239. Etna: "I'll try and pick up something next time I feel up to Learning. I have a feeling something sparky isn't that far out of reach."
  240. Grace Leonhardt: "Well, if we spot anything like that it wouldn't hurt... Hey how far are you with the way up Etna? I might be able to make my way up."
  241. Etna: "I think I'll be able to get three fourths of the way done today."
  242. Etna: "You'd need to be able to make rocks happen to help. Mars can, I can. You and Act can't."
  243. Etna: "... Oh, you mean like, jumping and climbing up."
  244. Grace Leonhardt: "Ye."
  245. Etna: "Feel free to try. You have better eyes than I do anyway."
  246. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...wait, I can?"
  247. Narrator: To note: Mars could help.
  248. Etna: "You're Rock and Steel."
  249. Etna: "I'm Rock and Ice."
  250. Etna: "I'm using my Rock-ness to build the stairs."
  251. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Oh, huh. I did not know I could do that."
  252. Actinidia: "Can I use my grass-ness to make grass?"
  253. Etna: "You might be able to use your Grass-ness to make plants grow better."
  254. Etna: "Could help for crops."
  255. Grace Leonhardt: "... I think the best I got is just using my hands as hammers. I don't think I could punch out a staircase tho."
  256. Etna: "You'll be Fighting and Steel once you evolve, Grace. Metal is pretty awesome."
  257. Pierce Mars Oswell: "You could punch out a floor, though. If you really really wanted to."
  258. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...What would metal even do? Just coat things with steel and make them indestructible?"
  259. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Or would it be like metal-bending?"
  260. Etna: "Or make pieces of metal out of nothing. That could be used to make walls."
  261. Grace Leonhardt: "Yoooo... metal bending would be pretty cool."
  262. Etna: "Sounds like something to experiment with during downtime."
  263. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Sounds like it."
  264. Etna: "So yeah. Mars, want to help me try and build all the stairs today?"
  265. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Couldn't hurt. I don't have much else to do right now, do I?"
  266. Actinidia: "Wasn't there an item that made you absorb more HP from enemies in the games? My fighting has used a lot of that."
  267. Etna: "We'll keep an eye out for it. I think it was a big root kinda thing."
  268. Etna: "I'm keeping an eye out for Nevermelt Ice, myself."
  269. Grace Leonhardt: "I think it was a big root? It was root something I think."
  270. Etna: "So, yeah. Hjadvir, we'll keep you up to date, and we'll talk with you any time we're coming or going. Feel free to come talk with us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns."
  271. Actinidia: "I was able to sense the aura in what looked like a normal block of ice. If I can control that aura, I might be able to make a root like that myself. While you work on the roof some more, I'll see what I can do about roots and plants."
  272. Etna: "Alright."
  273. * Etna will lead whoever wants to follow her to the staircase.
  274. * Pierce Mars Oswell will follow.
  275. Actinidia: ((Is it at all possible for Actinidia to make a Big Root?))
  276. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will follow after, incase they need something punched and or attempted to be parcore'd.
  277. Narrator: Magic Items are not craftable.
  278. Narrator: Same kind of test for Mars as was for Etna.
  279. Pierce Mars Oswell: I don't remember what it was. Was it Rock Accuracy?
  280. Narrator: 3d6+acc using rock focuses for bonuses.
  281. Avara is disconnected.
  282. Pierce Mars Oswell: OH SHIT
  283. Pierce Mars Oswell: I ACTUALLY HAVE A ROCK FOCUS NOW
  284. Pierce Mars Oswell: ROCK ACCURACY 4+4+1+5=14 (STUNT! 4 Stunt Points)
  285. Pierce Mars Oswell: does this count as exploration or role-play?
  286. Narrator: Neither.
  287. Narrator: It's crafting. D:
  288. Pierce Mars Oswell: Does crafting have any stunts?
  289. Narrator: Of which I don't have a stunt list for. And unsure if I even should make one. But you saw the talents for 'em!
  290. DNA: That I did. Ah well, all I can do now is sit back and watch the fireworks.
  291. Mars, coming in after Etna to assist on the work she put in for creating stairs leading from ground level up to the rooftop. Working on six hours, he not only completes the stairs but also adds things for safety: Like railings and support beams.
  292. Narrator: (( Aww, my baby has a wiggly tooth ))
  293. Grace Leonhardt: (Daw! Grats!)
  294. DNA: First one?
  295. DNA: I know she is about old enough for that to be the case.
  296. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will wait for the construction duo to give the okay, so she could test out the staircase, and climb up them herself... with a touch of healthy weariness.
  297. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I promise it's safe and structurally sound. I walked up and down it myself many times, and I'm much heavier than you."
  298. Actinidia: Realizing she can't craft magical items, Actinidia will spend time with the snakes. Catching up on their day-to-day lives, what progresses are being made where and generally making apperances.
  299. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will akwardly laugh, and just go up the steps. While she waited for the stairs, she'll just get the food supplies' ducks in a row for easier storage.
  300. Grace Leonhardt: So from there, she'll try to get to the roof, so she can take a peak at any potential places of intrest, as well as any intact radio towers.
  301. Avara has connected.
  302. Avara: back
  303. Grace Leonhardt: wb
  304. Narrator: (( I'm back too. Soz, I pulled Emi's tooth out. ))
  305. Avara: she doing alright?
  306. Avara: i remember that hurting a lot, but also being a bit of a relief that the problem was going away.
  307. Narrator: She's stupid relieved.
  308. DNA: Haha!
  309. Etna: "Congratulations on the staircraft, Mars. It's very impressive, and it looks like it'll do what we need for sure. Now that we know we can do this sort of thing, we won't need as many supplies to build up our defenses, either."
  310. Etna: "... I wonder if grass power can make wood?"
  311. Etna: "There's a lot we should experiment with when we're not on missions."
  312. Actinidia: ((Grass Mastery can, give me until next session))
  313. Narrator: Grace, give me some Cunning (geographic lore)
  314. Grace Leonhardt: Grace tries to bring up what she remembered she looked up for the trip up to DC as she looks around. 1+4+2+4=11
  315. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...You have a pretty good point. Using energy to just build fortifications will really cut down on supplies."
  316. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will be craning, and squinting as she tries to get the best view of where she was. After spotting what she could, she'll come back down, "Well, I saw what I think is the NBC4 tower, and it looked decently sized to the northeast."
  317. Grace Leonhardt: "There was another smaller one, but NBC4 seems like a good first one to check out."
  318. Pierce Mars Oswell: "NBC? You recognized the...rainbow peacock?"
  319. Grace Leonhardt: "From what I saw, there was a church down to the south... so if there was a place humans turn pokemon... or children would go for safety, it'd be down there. The other one was the Hughes Memorial tower... if I remember it correctly from the brocure. It's to the southwest... so a lot of stuff to the south."
  320. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'm thinking we might want to visit the NBC tower first, then maybe move onto the second one if we get nowhere. Then the church. That might be another sanctuary set up. ...Or a trap. Either way, worth looking."
  321. Etna: "Might be that Order's set up at the church, since it'd be a symbol of safety and protection. Maybe, maybe not. We should definitely check with the radio stations first."
  322. Grace Leonhardt: "That's what I was thinking."
  323. Etna: "Alright. What time is it?"
  324. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Iiiiiiiit's..." Mars looks for a clock.
  325. Narrator: Hahaha, clocks.
  326. Avara: grace was just outside, might have an idea from sun and shadow
  327. Avara: if human tech's breaking down, that probably includes clocks.
  328. Narrator whispers: It's looks pretty...evening. Sun's setting and what-not. It's roughly 5:15 PM.
  329. Avara: so i guess that's another project: make a sundial.
  330. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...right, no clocks. But it's probably like...five-ish, based on where the sun is in the sky?"
  331. Pierce Mars Oswell: "..How ARE we going to tell time?"
  332. Etna: "Sundial?"
  333. Grace Leonhardt: "Anyone know how to make one?"
  334. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...good idea. I ...honestly don't know much about making stuff with precision."
  335. Etna: "Not really, but we can work it out later. I'm kind of burned out on make-things.
  336. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah. We should give ourselves something to do."
  337. Actinidia: "If we find a winding watch, that should work."
  338. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Or perhaps a pendulum clock."
  339. Etna: "It's late, though. I think we should take the rest of the evening and night as downtime, make sure Hjadvir's up to date on everything, and let him know we're heading out tomorrow."
  340. Actinidia: "The former will be more common than the latter."
  341. Etna: (( brb again. ))
  342. Narrator: So, resting and heading out is what I'm hearing?
  343. Actinidia: Yep
  344. Grace Leonhardt: No objections to that.
  345. Pierce Mars Oswell: Indeed.
  346. Narrator: Also bringing Hjadvir up to speed on...things? Which I'd prefer you guys laid out really. Don't wanna infer non-existent things.
  347. Actinidia: So he knows our values.
  348. Etna: (( back again ))
  349. Avara: the speechifying we did sets most of it. just verifying what we said, reiterating on our stances for each Seeker group. Blood: GTFO. Truth: Not friends, not immediately enemies. Don't offer them anything, but don't chase them away unless they do something against us. Order: Potential allies, make arrangements for possible meet-ups between leaders later. that sound good?
  350. DNA: That sounds acceptable. Anything specific we're missing about non-groups?
  351. Avara: non-groups should be judged by their behavior, using the four categories of Seeker currently established as guidelines.
  352. Actinidia: My suggestion is that human children should be given refuge, if they seek it. Others can stay if they have something to offer, be it a skill or resources. If they can feed themselves and don't cause trouble I don't have issues.
  353. Avara: anyone who's leaning mostly Blood, GTFO. mostly truth, treat like truth. mostly order, treat like order.
  354. Avara: anyone who's mostly like us, set them up with a temporary rooming until we get here?
  355. Avara: keeping someone on guard incase it's a BETRAYAL.
  356. Actinidia: That's a good guideline. I would divide into six groups. Blood, Truth, Order, Hope, Bystanders and Humans.
  357. Avara: human kids can be Bloody too. as we well know. and hjadvir doesn't speak hoomin.
  358. DNA: Do we have anyone who DOES speak human?
  359. Avara: so that's a more difficult case to handle.
  360. Avara: Etna.
  361. Actinidia: True.
  362. Avara: that's about it.
  363. Avara: anyone who's strictly a bystander, i'm not sure if we'd run into them.
  364. Actinidia: Though, as far as I know there are two kinds of humans. Ones with parents, in which case the parents will be judged (the kid we beat up was using his parents to kill). If the child has no one with them, they are probably not a threat at all even if they wanted to be and should be helped.
  365. Avara: too bad we can't just make a sign saying "You Need 7 Badges To Challenge This Gym."
  366. Narrator: Well, a gym is something Actinidia had as an idea.
  367. DNA: But we can't write.
  368. Avara: it is. and it seems like a good thing to build towards.
  369. Avara: but yeah, we can't hoomin write.
  370. Narrator: But, this is a the first time you guys had real plans by the end of the session and I can actually work on it during the week.
  371. Actinidia: give me a session
  372. Avara: *hugs kao*
  373. Avara: glad we could actually set up properly for you for once
  374. Avara: yeah. we're going to Radio Tower NBC4 or whatever it was.
  375. Actinidia: Gym thing might be a project for when we get back.
  376. Avara: making this place a gym will be a long-term project, honestly
  377. Avara: construction, safety measures, medical training, setting up some way of representing a Gym Leader, making the actual badges.
  378. Narrator: One you guys can definitely succeed.
  379. Narrator: Oh, right. Don't forget your Spinarak allies.
  380. Narrator: The first ones you made, after all. You could always check on them.
  381. Narrator: They're virtually across the street anyways.
  382. Avara: giving ura a bit of time to work with them, but yeah
  383. Avara: we should definitely do that
  384. Actinidia: We could. It's been a day or two since Ura left.
  385. Narrator: Or, rather, west of the park.
  386. Avara: i'm excited. we have actual direction and means to our name now.
  387. Actinidia: I think it's a good idea to stop on the way, since a day or two will show if Ura got hope safe and is doing well. And give us an idea of where things are going.
  388. Actinidia: *got home
  389. Avara: alright. To Ura, then the Station
  390. Avara: then back home to check on things. theeeen we'll decide if we want to say hi to the church of pokeology.
  391. DNA: I think that's a sound idea.
  392. Narrator: o7
  393. Grace: Sounds like a plan!
  394. Avara: woot woot~!
  395. Avara: i think that'll do us on tonight's session?
  396. Narrator: Yah, we can cut it here unless there were last minute things you wanted to take care of.
  397. Avara: i'm good.
  398. Grace: I'm good.
  399. Actinidia: I'm interested in being updated to 1.2 before we set out. So I'm good cutting here. Actinidia practices growing grass and learning human from Etna.
  400. Narrator: Yah, I'll have that ready by next game.
  401. Grace: Grace will practice her kicks, and plans out the fighting feild/dojo nearby just to sell the Gym part... and the fighting type compels her to do so.
  402. DNA: Meanwhile I'll find out what Steel focuses can do for building.
  403. DNA: ...A lot, probably.
  404. Avara: it might be a good idea to have etna be the "gym leader" since she's the one with the most charisma, and a sort of leader to the group anyway?
  405. Avara: will think on that.
  406. Avara: anyway! looks like we're all tied up for the night. just need that sweet EXPs.
  407. Grace: -w-7
  408. Narrator: Alrighty then.
  409. Narrator: I'm pretty darn distracted by Emi and her happiness of her first tooth loss.
  410. Narrator: Also the tooth fairy helps.
  411. Avara: yay tooth fairy shenanigans~
  412. Narrator: TONIGHTS EXP
  413. Narrator: EXP: 300
  414. DNA: 8150 EXP, 2850 to next level
  415. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt gains 300 experience points.
  416. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell gains 300 experience points.
  417. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell gains 300 experience points.
  418. DNA: (Doing it on both tokens because I'll forget)
  419. Avara: everyone try and show up early next week to update tokens.
  420. Grace Leonhardt: -w-7
  421. Grace is disconnected.
  422. Actinidia is disconnected.
  423. Narrator: Saving campaign and log~
  424. Narrator is disconnected.
  425. You have disconnected.
