So I decided to close this puzzle semi early as I am going to not be available much longer and will be even more infrequently posting in the thread. First off I'd like to congratulate all the new winners this year and I'm glad I saw some new names solving the puzzles! I can't wait for next year to do it all again! Now let's get started

Alright folks here it is my final puzzle!
Everything you need to answer the riddle is in this post (well in a way). This puzzle is so easy to do all you have to do is answer my question. But before you do that you may wish to read this

Ans:
Well quite clearly this is a substitution cipher, but where's the key, and even more important, what the heck are these indexes? Well it's quite clear that my former puzzle write ups will be the key, but in what capacity? You'll notice the final line of the clue "This one will take all of your cunning, or is it counting?" What could we count? Why words my dear Batboobs, words! So save all of my write ups to a local folder on your computer and make se of the following commmand (though there are other tools that could do this as well) "$ cat allhints.txt | tr '[:space:]' '[\n*]' |  grep -v "^\s*$" | sort | uniq -c | sort -bnr > key.txt". This command will create a list of every "word" in these text files (denoted by spaces) and then count the occurences of those words and output them from highest to lowest which gives you this key file (http://pastebin.com/YzEvJGdC). Now let's figure out what the hell those indexes mean. Well given that the left side numbers go up to 1500's and I'm pretty sure I've not written that many occurences, perhaps its another number, maybe a line number? And if that's a line number then the right must be the occurences. So refer to the key and you get
