  1. This is perhaps the sloppiest contract I have ever read in my life, AND I'M A LAWYER!!, Whomever wrote this contract hasn't a single shred of legal experience, It really needs to be rewritten.
  2.
  3.
  4.
  5. But onto business;
  6.
  7. In order for me to vote in favor of this contract the following edits would have to be made;
  8.
  9. The contract length to be reduced to a more appropriate 3 month probationary period, after which;
  10. The termination clause needs to be edited to an amount that would reflect losses incurred for the remainder of the 3 month period, excluding any equipment charges or penalty fees (penalty fees and compensatory fees are not legal and therefore would void the contract's legality in a court of law)
  11.
  12. STAG in no way shape or form is to be classed as law enforcement, and is to be classed as a Private military contractor as per the Hierarchy of Law Enforcement act, and for them to be treated legally as such, again as per the Hierarchy of Law Enforcement act.
  13. The power of arrest would be limited to catch and handover, the option to charge suspects would be not be an option, once again as per the Hierarchy of Law Enforcement act.
  14.
  15. The contractor would be expected to follow all orders from all law enforcement agencies on a hierarchy based order starting from the President, working down to and ending with LSPD high command.
  16.
  17. The hourly pay rate to be determined on a scale created using average percentage per active member, based on the income of preexisting Law Enforcement agencies, for example: if LSPD are getting paid $200,000 per hour with 20 active members, then if STAG has 10 active members then the hourly pay would be approximately $100,000..
  18. I personally think that paying a single dollar per person than civil services already receive to an external contractor is a waste of resources and if the allowances are not tallied on a percentage per contractor basis then it is to be deemed more financially viable to spend this money expanding the already existing tactical teams within the FBI and LSPD
  19.
  20. All participating members of STAG are to undergo the same strict background checks and training required by that of a Law Enforcement officer, those who do not meet these requirements would be excluded from participating in operations for the state, but may continue to work on other private contracts STAG may have.
  21.
  22.
  23. The contractor may not hold allegiance to or hold any other contracts with any other nation, be it official or rebellious, and may not be affiliated with any criminal, or terrorist organisation during the term of the contract.
