FE PbP 1.22 Setting Background

The Continent of Fictini is on the brink of war. The Great Empire of Liveton dominates the western side of Fictini while smaller states quarrel over the remaining land.

The players are new recruits, willing or not, in Liveton's 7th Platoon and are on a routine patrol when the prologue begins.

Greater Empire of Liveton
Founded by Emperor Norton I the Conquerer, the Empire resides over most of Fictini's western half. The Empire itself is relatively peaceful, as the current Emperor resides in Sounieh and none dare bring the wrath of the mighty Imperial Army upon them. However, events on the Empire's southwestern border may forever change the Empire...

Kaputso League
The Kaputso League is formed of a handful of Merchant Families and the guilds. A relatively new name on the political battlefield, not much is known about this rising star.

The Wildlands
Formerly the Kingdom of Yorin, a brutal civil war has left this land in pieces. Shifty dealings, black markets, and criminals run rampant in these doomed fields.

Kingdom of Frielia
A small kingdom on the northern end of Fictini, the Frielian Army is the most well trained in the world, and its new king is not well liked by its people.

Sheikdoms of Caliphi
Controlling most of the southeastern desert of Fictini, the Sheiks have little to do with outsiders and many high up in the church consider their pagan gods to be blasphemy that needs to be destroyed.

Holy City of Triloma
The center of religion in Fictini, Triloma maintains its independence by playing it's neighbors against each other.
