  1. Teambuilding Steps:
  2.
  3. Since I've seen various high caliber teams and scrubby teams alike through my OU experience, I've noticed that many use either the shittiest things possible, like a Special Mega Garchomp (When Physical is superior), or use some dominating and destructive forces, like Talonflame and MPinsir. Knowing the ladder real well and what comes with success, I opted to abuse a dominating force so my team can be dominating and as good as possible. However, I didn't want to use MPinsir OR Talonflame, mainly because all the previous teams I've made with the two have had an end result that was pretty similar, if not identical. This was the frustration that entered into me when I stopped playing pokemon and caused me to get bored of it. However, while getting frustrated again over not being able to use a dominating mon, I remembered how great Gyarados was in Gen 5 OU, and still is in this gen (despite the fact it looks like a fucking genie shrimp with a bad case of unibrow), so I decided to give him a go and abuse his usual Dragon Dance set, and amazed at how easy it is to set up +2 while the opponent thinks you'll Mega evolve. So I add him, and visit a popular roadblock that I've seen various times before...

  5. WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO IF I GET PREDICTED AND SOME ELECTRIC TYPE COMES IN? WHAT NOW? PLS SEND HELP?
  6.
  7. Well, gen experience carried over. It was simple to find a solution to this, and Garchomp was it. Being a great pokemon with great STABs, ability to set up SR, and fast enough to outpace a majority of the tier, I had absolutely no problem adding him in. I went for an old friend, and used the Gen 5 OU standard Sash SR Lead Garchomp. It guarantees me at least 1 set up of SR in the game, and the sash allows him to dish out the nukes we know as EQ and Outrage. Also, Sash allows me to preserve him when he's at 1% and use him as death fodder for stupid Landorus-T's using U-Turn when they're at low percentages and get roughed up (heh) by Garchomp's ability. But, this lead me to another roadblock...

  9. DRAGONS R SCARY! SO IS CONKERLDURR I MEAN FIGHTING TYPES! WHAT DO?
  10.
  11. Even though I absolutely hate the fucking fact that Aegislash is so goddamn slow, I was kind of in a bad spot for a better synergetic partner for the previous two, so I reluctantly added it. It is one of those Weakness Police Officer sets that sets an unsuspecting opponent in a really bad position. Since Bisharp is a worry for any Aegislash, i decided that I wouldn't miss Sacred Sword too much, if it meant that I got to kill fairies with an Iron morning Head. Aegislash lets me confront Kyurem-B (to a certain extent), beat idiotic MPinsirs who EQ without setting up on Aegislash first, and many other things that I either cannt think of right now, or am too lazy too mention. So yeah, use your imagination and ponies and next team member (lol it's not Keldeo)
  12.
  13. RAIKOU? I PLAY OU MAN, THE FUCK IS THAT THING AND WHEN WAS IT OU? IS SMOGON CHANGING THE TIER LIST? IS IT A KITTY ZAPDOS?
  14.
  15. Well, yes, kind of. Raikou simply lets me check MPinsir, forcing it to use an Aerialated Quick Attack, and inable to finish off a healthy Raikou. Same goes for Banded Talonflame's that run EVs to outspeed MPinsir, feeling like living the Reckless thug life. It's the terryifying set that dominated the Gen 5 UU era, except a slightly bulkier version this time around. It is a great answer to various common sights in OU, such as Lati@s (although only at certain times), Lando versions, Thundy versions, Dragons, you name it. BoltBeam is devestating, and this Raikou proves to be nothing less.
  16.
  17. LANDORUS-T IS SCARY, AND YOU ONLY HAVE LIKE, 1/2 OF A SWITCH-IN TO IT. WHAT NOW?
  18.
  19. You know, I've never been afraid to use two dragons in a team before, and I sure as hell don't plan to make an exception now. We add the magnificently amazing, hyper offensive behemoth that Latios is. Think he gives a fuck about your EQ? NOT REALLY (GO TO HELL, EXCADRILL). This is slightly different than the LO variant, whereas I dislike losing HP and wasting turns healing up, only to find myself back to about the same HP range in which I was in. So, to make things better against Aegislash and Bisharp, I planned my fun out with them with HP Fire over Roost/Recover.
  20.
  21. SCARF? YOU NEED YOUR SWAG 420 BLAZING SCARF? WHERE IT BE, DAWG?
  22.
  23. Right here bro. Don't worry, I blaze it every day at 4:20 am and PM. Hardcore (lol jk, I don't).
  24. But you know who IS hardocre?
  25.
  26.
  27. A FUCKING SCARFED MAMOSWINE. THIS FUCKER IS ALREADY ANTI-META, AND WE HAVE TO MAKE HIM FAST NOW AS WELL? THE FUCK MAN, I THOUGHT WE WANTED A DOMINATING TEAM, NOT AN UBER ONE.
  28.
  29. Ok ok, so Scarfed Mamo isn't as great as I'm making him out to be. But, I can tell you one thing: It catches people off guard so much, it's become hilarious to me when using it in the past, and and in recent battles too. It's an effective killer, and is hard to Paralyze, which is great added bonus for any Scarfer. It also has the cover of hiding behind Latios, which people expect to be the scarfed mon, because, c'mon now, Latios has more speed and all. However, I didn't want speed, since I don't fear the fast and fragile bitch ass scarfers. I want a durable powerhouse, and guess who just killed your goddamn Dragonite, who thought he could set up?
  30.
  31. Mamoswine did. (#DiggersbyTho)
  32.
  33. And there you have it. Please make your way back for pokemon descriptions, and thank you for taking your time on reading all of this. :)
