ByXIncognitoon January 31, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition A+ guide to hunting the elusive demonspawn known as the feminazi. Following the book's instructions, I started by tracking their scent (Lemon Pledge) and listening for their cries (a mixture of satanic growls and inane gossip). I immediately recognized the feminazis by their vicious jagged fangs and burnt brassieres, roaming in their natural habitat (the kitchen). I successfully managed to destroy them by hurling vicious insults about their appearance as well as rape threats, ensuring they would never endanger men's rights again. Thank you, Mr. Buchanan! #FreddyBellJones - 11 of 26 people found the following review helpful 5.0 out of 5 starsFinally!!! Thank you!!! ByKarl F.on February 4, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition How dare the trolls attack this book! Finally we have some clarity around gender roles as they are meant to be. I just HATE it when women in my workplace (how'd they even find it? So bad with directions...) behave like their education, life experiences, and professional perspectives are somehow equal to mine. I mean, my external genitalia can store so much more knowledge than theirs, and also functions as supplemental brain power! What I hate most is when those Devils drive great decision making, come up with amazing concepts, and conduct themselves with poise and professionalism that clearly points to advanced business acumen and keen talent. Thank you, Mike, for writing this book. We need people like you to showcase how wrong the "world" is...or whatever backwards, caveman delusion-haze it is - 20 of 46 people found the following review helpful 1.0 out of 5 starsCan't put it down. ByThomas Coleon February 6, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Lots of pictures. Lots of insight. Lots of lots. I couldn't put it down. Literally. I am still holding it while I type. I'm actually holding one copy in each hand and typing with the corners. 10/10 Would be cursed to hold for eternity again. 1 commentWas this review helpful to you? ByChristenon February 5, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition I'm the type of person to give any perspective a chance, regardless of how different it is from mine, however, this book is literally written by a man who writes about women as if he has personally been enslaved, tortured, and made to wear a gimp suit by them all his life. I get it, Mr. Buchanan wants to own many wives that have an uncanny resemblence to Barbie, but thats just not how the world works. So I think I'll continue living life happily as a feminist with a man whom I love, a career I wish to excell in, and a life I can be proud of. Yes Mr. Buchanan, feminists CAN love men, just not men like you! We're not all raging lunatics trying to achieve a mass genocide of the XY Gene. Sounds to me like you are a pot calling the kettle black, you crazy misogynist radicalist! Now excuse me While I continue to ice pick at the glass ceiling above me! 4 commentsWas this review helpful to you? ByA readeron April 13, 2015 Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase I give this five stars as a much needed humorous critique of feminism. IMike Buchanan is an amusing writer, which is good because I typically read before going to sleep and most other writings on feminists could be stress inducing, leading to insomnia or nightmares. Some sections I skim through because they have to do with the specifics of Britain's attempt to legislate gender parity. But overall, Buchanan's perspective is relevant in any western country being overrun by feminist academic ideologues. Even though this is written for the layperson, he does rely on scientific studies to back up his arguments. - 9 of 13 people found the following review helpful 1.0 out of 5 starsfeminists are destroying modern societies ByNiamh Roganon November 2, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition As a feminist I'm glad this man has discredited my ability to think critically about the issues that affect me and also discrediting the feminist movement by labelling them as misandrist who's sole mission want to get rid of men. Pattenon June 12, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition This is a clear and honest view of the future where equality reigns. A society that emotionally reacts to women's empathy will tie itself into knots and waste all its resources. A government cannot manage the depths of women's complaints. But we can manage the damage for all. The future is bright and clear. CommentWas this review helpful to you? A comprehensive condemnation of feminism and its insidious ravages delivered with considerable style and humour. Vital reading in understanding "The Ugly Truth" - and it's entertaining too! 22. A Real Eye Opener

  25. As someone who enjoyed Mike Buchanan's previous books about feminism - The Glass Ceiling Delusion in particular - I was at first disappointed to see this book only launching in an ebook edition. But a friend told me about free-to-download `Kindle for PC' software so I managed to download this Feminism: The Ugly Truth book in no time.
  26.
  27. The author's surpassed himself with this title. Nothing seems to evade his critical attention: he covers the central importance of misandry (the hatred of men), the disproportionate influence of men-hating lesbian feminists, the different natures of gender-typical men and women, the assault on all men and the majority of women and all children, the assaults on many fields (academia, the legal system, government, the media... the list is a long one.)
  28.
  29. The pursuit of radical feminist agendas by a Conservative-led coalition both merits and attracts attention, David Cameron being shown to have pro-feminist instincts in gender-related matters, as demonstrated by his firm support for quotas to deliver `gender balance in the boardroom' rather than on merit The writer uses extracts from other books but only where they're particularly relevant to the topic he's covering.
  30.
  31. The book ends with the plate section and a sample chapter from the writer's highly-rated French travelogue Two Men in a Car which I note has 17 reviews on www.amazon.co.uk, all 5-starred. This makes for a welcome, interesting, and humorous counterpoint to the preceding book. That's not to say the preceding book doesn't have its share of humour, because it does, as we might expect with chapter titles such as `Are some feminists (e.g. Tracey Emin) a pain in the arts?Read more ›

  40. Unmasking feminism, may be an alternative title.
  41. Really love it, love the humor and the insights it provides on how politicians exploits feminism sacrificing on the consensus altar the principles of meritocracy, business productivity and family cohesion.
  42.
  43. A must read, especially for young boys and girls looking for a clear understanding on how feminism is undermining the foundation of UK society.

  51. Truth about Feminism and the State in plain language!
  52. By phil on March 9, 2013
  53. Format: Kindle Edition
  54. Not exactly being a novice to this topic I was curious on how Mike would tackle the hydra that is modern feminism. Thankfully I was very pleasantly surprised to find that he doesn't sidetrack the reader too much with what feminists say they are about (believe me the language can get extremely dense and obfuscatory!) but concentrates more on what they have done and intend to do.
  55. The mainstream media does a very good job overall in putting a spin on many feminist activities and feminist inspired policies. Mike strips away the veneer of that spin and does so using plain language that doesn't require a degree in Humanities or womens studies in order to understand him.
  56. That however, doesn't mean Mike Buchanan is a "lightweight" far from it, his skill is more akin to a Richard Feynman lecture ie someone who actually KNOWS a convoluted and complex subject yet can distill its essentials and put it into everyday language that all can understand.
  57. The book is also extremely relevant to a relative newcomer to these issues as he shares his erudition on the topic generously with the reader. Many other related works are quoted and in some cases to the extent of an entire chapter where it is relevant to the topic of the text.
  58. In short just reading this book alone will give the reader a very good grasp of feminism, it's entanglement in most if not all of our establishments, government and institutions most specifically in the UK but also a pretty good overview of the international dimension also.

  86. Biography
  87. Mike Buchanan (1957- ) is a British writer, publisher, and men's human rights advocate, formerly a business consultant before retiring in 2010. In February 2013 his political party was officially registered by the Electoral Commission - 'Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them)' http://j4mb.org.uk - J4MB. The party plans to contest 20 marginal seats in the May 2020 general election. At the time of writing (January 2016) J4MB remains the only political party in the English-speaking world campaigning for the human rights of men and boys on many fronts.
  88.
  89. The party has among its objectives the end of discriminatory policies against men, and an end to other manifestations of radical/gender feminism which attacks many of the pillars of civilised societies including the family, education, the political system, the legal system, the media, business... and more. Radical feminism is a hate-driven female supremacist ideology which has assaulted the interests of women and children, as well as those of men, for 30+ years.
  90.
  91. In 2008 Mike founded LPS publishing http://lpspublishing.co.uk, in 2012 Anti-Feminism League http://fightingfeminism.wordpress.com and Campaign for Merit in Business http://c4mb.wordpress.com. He worked for the Conservative party over 2006-8 but resigned his party membership in late 2009 in protest at Conservative party leader David Cameron's adoption of women-only prospective parliamentary candidate shortlists for some constituencies for the forthcoming general election. To enable this, Cameron employed legislation introduced in March 2008 by the gender feminist Labour MP Harriet Harman.
  92.
  93. The legislation permitted political parties to use women-only prospective parliamentary candidate shortlists for the ensuing five general elections i.e. FOR 25 YEARS. The proposed legislation hadn't been mentioned in the Labour Party's 2005 general election manifesto, although the same manifesto DID include this gem: 'The new European Union Constitutional Treaty is a good treaty for Britain and the new Europe. We will put it to the British people in a referendum.' Ha.

  99. 'Feminism: The Ugly Truth' was published in a Kindle edition on 13 February 2012, the paperback edition is being published in January 2016. The book is a critique of radical feminism, a movement of angry misandric (men-hating) women which assaults men, women, children, marriage, the family, the legal system, academia, the media, democracy and business... and so much more. It leads to the early deaths of many men and women. Chapter titles include, 'Are you a misogynist if you only hate feminists?', 'How does feminism kill many men and women?', 'Are some feminists (e.g. Tracey Emin) a pain in the arts?', 'Why must we stop funding Women's Studies and Gender Studies courses?', and 'Are feminists delusional? Is the pope a Catholic? Do bears crap in woods?' The Kindle edition will contain a sample chapter from 'Two Men in a Car' titled, 'Would you like to have sex with my wife?' along with that book's plate section (16 photographs). The paperback edition will have the sample chapter but not the plate section.

  101. 'The Glass Ceiling Delusion: the REAL reasons more women don't reach senior positions'. After spending over 30 years working in the private sector (1978-2010), most of them working at a senior level in major companies, Mike Buchanan recognised that the 'glass ceiling' explanation for the small number of women in senior executive positions in general, and in the boardroom in particular, was a groundless conspiracy theory advanced by feminists to further their personal agendas. This book explains the real reasons for the longstanding gender imbalances, and why gender balance initiatives are a threat to meritocracy and therefore capitalism itself.
  102.
  103. 'David and Goliatha: David Cameron - heir to Harman?' This book considers the world of men and women in the workplace, and chronicles the enactment by the new Conservative prime minister (David Cameron) of legislation that was the brainchild of a militant feminist Labour MP, Harriet Harman. The Equality Act 2010 substitutes the principle of 'equality of opportunity' with 'equality of outcome' in the public sector, for the first time in British law. It is feared that the legislation may be extended to the private sector in the fullness of time.

  105. 'The Joy of Self-Publishing' A comprehensive guide to self-publishing in the modern era, with an emphasis on the practical issues involved in producing books and ebooks, and how to make the best of the Print-on-Demand ('POD') business model.
  106.
  107. 'Buchanan's Dictionary of Quotations for Right-Minded Americans' Quotations delivering insight, inspiration and amusement to Americans who are right-of-centre politically, like the editor. Quotations from the expected sources (Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, P.J. O'Rourke, Sarah Palin...) and from the less expected (Elvis Presley, Homer Simpson, Charlton Heston, Rita Rudner...)
  108.
  109. 'The Marriage Delusion: the fraud of the rings?' Also available in a paperback version with the title 'The Fraud of the Rings'. A critique of marriage which argues that most adults in the developed world in the modern era are unsuited to the institution. The book also makes realistic recommendations to reduce the number of unhappy marriages and thereby bring down the number of divorces. Now wouldn't that be a good thing?
  110.
  111. 'Two Men in a Car (A Businessman, a Chauffeur, and Their Holidays in France)' The politically-incorrect tale of two holidays in France enjoyed by Mike Buchanan and his chauffeur, Paul Carrington. The book contains 16 colour photographs taken during the holidays.
  112.
  113. 'Guitar Gods in Beds. (Bedfordshire: A Heavenly County)' The colourful life stories of eight amateur / semi-pro / professional guitarists living and performing in Mike Buchanan's adopted town, the throbbing metropolis of Bedford, England. One is Thunderin' Paul Carrington, the author's chauffeur in 'Two Men in a Car'. The book contains 16 colour photographs of the guitarists, half taken recently, half when they were much younger.
  114.
  115. 'Profitable Buying Strategies' (published by Kogan Page) Drawing on the author's 25+ years' experience of procurement at a senior level in major organisations, this is a guide to improving organisational profitability through reducing the cost of bought-in goods and services.
