  3. [20:07] * Kain is now known as Karsten
  4. [20:07] <KamenWriter> LAST TIME ON insert funny play on a war-time newsreel title here WE DID STUFF.
  5. [20:07] <KamenWriter> SPONSORED BY racist/ironic/sexist or otherwise funny period-sounding advertisement here
  6. [20:08] * Cait (nekodes@i.dunno.lol) has joined #OverthereGame
  7. [20:09] <KamenWriter> SO
  8. [20:09] <KamenWriter> Karsten spends one time period repairing the barricade
  9. [20:10] <KamenWriter> However, nobody else has put down that they're going to repair it for that time period.
  10. [20:10] <KamenWriter> So it's going to stand only half-repaired tonight
  11. [20:10] <KamenWriter> Just FYI in case a big attack comes in the night
  12. [20:10] * Gents (Gents@70A65716.B74CD33E.6BF78421.IP) has joined #OverthereGame
  13. [20:14] <KamenWriter> >Not everyone is nicked up yet
  14. [20:14] <KamenWriter> WELL we're going on
  15. [20:15] <KamenWriter> Forgive me if I rush a little, I want to make up for lost time
  16. [20:15] <KamenWriter> Starting from the afternoon, Karsten partially repairs the barricade (And the barricade will take 2 timeslots to complete)
  17. [20:16] <KamenWriter> Rudiger, are you still going to spend your Afternoon and evening bonding with Arigi?
  18. [20:16] <KamenWriter> Gents
  19. [20:17] * Karsten goes aheads and spends the evening repairing too
  20. [20:17] <KamenWriter> Okay
  21. [20:17] <KamenWriter> Karsten repairs the barricade
  22. [20:17] <KamenWriter> all by his lonesome
  23. [20:18] <KamenWriter> Karsten: Around the time you finish up your work
  24. [20:18] <KamenWriter> You notice that you hear some... odd chewing noises from the corner of the town you left the weedle egg
  25. [20:18] <Gents> (huh)
  26. [20:18] <Gents> (Also yeah)
  27. [20:18] * Ivan (Domo@sux-B9D9571C.hsd1.il.comcast.net) has joined #OverthereGame
  28. [20:19] <KamenWriter> If you go investigate, you find that... ewwwww.
  29. [20:20] * Karsten does investigate
  30. [20:20] <KamenWriter> The corpse you left there is undulating strangely
  31. [20:20] <KamenWriter> And soon, you see a green-tinted weedle drill its way out, eating ravenously as it does.
  32. [20:20] <KamenWriter> 1d2
  33. [20:20] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, 1d2: 2 [1d2=2]
  34. [20:20] <KamenWriter> It's female
  35. [20:20] <KamenWriter> 1d36
  36. [20:20] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, 1d36: 2 [1d36=2]
  37. [20:20] * Karsten studies it while it does so, curious.
  38. [20:21] <KamenWriter> Distracted nature
  39. [20:21] <KamenWriter> And Shield Dust is his ability
  40. [20:21] <Karsten> It bothers him a little bit, but medics are supposed to have a biological tolerance on some level.
  41. [20:21] <Karsten> And on some level this shit is actually really interesting.
  42. [20:22] <KamenWriter> And remember that http://paradoxhaze.wikidot.com/jewel-beedrill is his pokedex page (Except the abilities. Only Poison Touch is different in that it uses sleep instead of poison)
  43. [20:22] <KamenWriter> As you are nearby, it seems to be okay with you and imprints on you
  44. [20:22] <KamenWriter> And soon, it eats its fill and inches over to you.
  45. [20:23] <Karsten> He just waits for her to get through eating, and says hello with a bit of a smile, VERY carefully rubbing the weedle's body and avoiding the poison spike.
  46. [20:23] <KamenWriter> Its spikes are much larger and thinner than a normal beedrill's, and you note that it has a red spot on its head
  47. [20:23] <Karsten> Or the sleepy spike, whichever.
  48. [20:24] <KamenWriter> Yes, the venom is far less potent than in a normal weedle.
  49. [20:24] <KamenWriter> However, psychic sleepy energy is there
  50. [20:24] <KamenWriter> Meanwhile: Rudiger
  51. [20:25] <KamenWriter> isn't nicked up yet.
  52. [20:25] <KamenWriter> But you can roll your bonding checks with Arigi
  53. [20:25] <Karsten> After spending a few minutes with the weedle, he balls her for now
  54. [20:25] <KamenWriter> Gents
  55. [20:27] <KamenWriter> Alright, Elsa lets finish out your day
  56. [20:27] * Gents is now known as Rudiger
  57. [20:27] <KamenWriter> There he is
  58. [20:27] <Rudiger> (I thought I nicked up derp)
  59. [20:27] <KamenWriter> Rudiger, go ahead and roll your Arigi checks :B
  60. [20:27] <Rudiger> 2d6+2 Using 1 Ap chec number 1
  61. [20:27] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, Using 1 Ap chec number 1: 10 [2d6=2,6]
  62. [20:27] <KamenWriter> And forgive me if I'm not gonna be super detailed
  63. [20:27] <Rudiger> 2d6+2 Check number 2 with 1 more ap
  64. [20:27] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, Check number 2 with 1 more ap: 10 [2d6=4,4]
  65. [20:27] <Rudiger> (Its okay)
  66. [20:28] <KamenWriter> Is that charm?
  67. [20:28] <KamenWriter> Or intimidate?
  68. [20:28] <Rudiger> charm
  69. [20:28] <KamenWriter> K
  70. [20:28] <KamenWriter> Well done. Arigi enjoys the attention.
  71. [20:29] <KamenWriter> And considering that he's now seen how the other half lives and has had to go back to the wild, he's more inclinded to like you.
  72. [20:29] <KamenWriter> Arigi is now loyalty 2
  73. [20:29] <KamenWriter> No command check required
  74. [20:30] <KamenWriter> (Speaking of, technically Arigi needed command checks to operate during the Paras fight, but considering you got your ass capped, I'll let it slide :B)
  75. [20:30] <KamenWriter> ANYWAY: NOW Elsa
  76. [20:30] <Rudiger> (I mean I think you should anyway, I did almost die!)
  77. [20:30] <KamenWriter> Vindhler
  78. [20:31] <Elsa> 5d6+3
  79. [20:31] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, 5d6+3: 26 [5d6=5,3,3,6,6]
  80. [20:31] * Elsa attempts to use her newfound pyrokinesis to train him in combat
  81. [20:31] <KamenWriter> Combat check, huh?
  82. [20:31] <KamenWriter> Unorthodox, but... effective.
  83. [20:32] <Elsa> charm
  84. [20:32] <KamenWriter> Oh Charm then
  85. [20:32] <KamenWriter> :B
  86. [20:32] <Elsa> (Combat would be higher)
  87. [20:32] <KamenWriter> Also effective
  88. [20:32] <KamenWriter> More effective than Combat would have been
  89. [20:33] <KamenWriter> Vindhler has come to enjoy your presence. Go ahead and raise his loyalty up to 3 if he's not there already.
  90. [20:33] <KamenWriter> NEXT
  91. [20:33] <KamenWriter> Ivan
  92. [20:33] <KamenWriter> Roll me a Survival check to hunt
  93. [20:34] <Ivan> 5d6+2
  94. [20:34] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, 5d6+2: 17 [5d6=1,2,2,5,5]
  95. [20:35] <KamenWriter> Ivan goes out hunting and comes back with about 2 days of food for each person.
  96. [20:36] * Ivan drops the gathered food near Karsten's tent or whatever he has. He IS the chef after all.
  97. [20:36] <KamenWriter> And finally, roll a bonding check with that Sudowoodo?
  98. [20:37] <Ivan> 3d6+1 Charming
  99. [20:37] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Charming: 10 [3d6=3,3,3]
  100. [20:38] <KamenWriter> Cool
  101. [20:38] <KamenWriter> The Sudowoodo is willing to play nice. You find that he's loyalty 2 currently.
  102. [20:38] <KamenWriter> And he likes how stealthy you are
  103. [20:39] <KamenWriter> Last bit of business while everyone is here:
  104. [20:39] <KamenWriter> Kirlia and Cubone are still up for grabs
  105. [20:39] <KamenWriter> Elsa gets first dibs on Kirlia since she rescued it, but the Cubone really is first come first serve
  106. [20:40] <KamenWriter> As long as you understand it won't answer to any name but Hamlet
  107. [20:40] * Elsa can't call it anything but Hamlet? No deal, get out of my sight.
  108. [20:41] <KamenWriter> Elsa, you gonna go for the Kirlia or is it up for grabs?
  109. [20:42] * Elsa will leave it for the others
  110. [20:42] <Karsten> forever cubone
  111. [20:43] <KamenWriter> Cubone is Lonely nature
  112. [20:44] <KamenWriter> 1d36
  113. [20:44] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, 1d36: 9 [1d36=9]
  114. [20:44] <KamenWriter> Kirlia is naughter if that helps
  115. [20:44] <KamenWriter> *naughty
  116. [20:45] * Elsa asks the Kirlia when she has a chance, <Kirlia, would you prefer to be with me throughout this event?>
  117. [20:45] <KamenWriter> The Kirlia replies, <If you want me. You saved me, so the least I can do is help you.>
  118. [20:46] <KamenWriter> <But I'm okay with whatever you decide.>
  119. [20:46] <Elsa> <I'm asking you.>
  120. [20:47] <KamenWriter> <I would prefer you if I get a choice, yes.> :3
  121. [20:47] <Elsa> <Then alright.>
  122. [20:48] <KamenWriter> Level 25, female, Naughty Kirlia
  123. [20:49] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT
  124. [20:49] <KamenWriter> So that night
  125. [20:49] <KamenWriter> Cait and Elsa tell everyone else about the adventure that evening
  126. [20:49] <KamenWriter> And how apparently the Clefable in the woods has timelord powers or something
  127. [20:50] <KamenWriter> And they came back with a Clefable who is being taken care of by Mew and the Kirlia
  128. [20:50] * Cait says nothing about spacecans
  129. [20:50] * Elsa does relate that they're going to attempt to ruin the timelord's day
  130. [20:51] <KamenWriter> It's not the same Clefable, but he's apparently some kind of legendary hero of the future to the normal-type fairy-like pokemon in the western woods.
  131. [20:51] <KamenWriter> He seems like a normal Clefable.
  132. [20:51] <KamenWriter> Anything you guys want to discuss about what you're going to do about it?
  133. [20:52] <Cait> "This evening, I'm going to go and take that stone from that clefable, the bad one."
  134. [20:52] * Karsten is confused as all get-out by this line of conversation but okay.
  135. [20:52] <KamenWriter> *next evening
  136. [20:53] <Cait> *
  137. [20:53] <KamenWriter> It's still day 8, nearly night
  138. [20:53] <Karsten> "...hrm... Vould you like some backup?"
  139. [20:53] <Ivan> "Why?"
  140. [20:55] <Cait> "Why? Because they're trying to make this thing." She holds up the other clefable, "Join them to fight us! This time they ARE the enemy, so its okay to go and beat them up!"
  141. [20:55] <Elsa> <Wouldn't be against it.>
  142. [20:56] <KamenWriter> Maestro (The clefable) crosses his arms. Who are YOU calling a thing. >:I
  143. [20:56] <Elsa> <Cait, you can put him down.>
  144. [20:56] * Cait puts him down
  145. [20:56] * Rosetta is now known as castfromhp
  146. [20:57] <Ivan> "Alright zhen."
  147. [20:57] <Karsten> "I vonder vy se normal types are getting all riled up, sen. Up until now it has been very specific types attacking us, has it not?"
  148. [20:58] <Karsten> "Several pokemon groups have been hostile, but only certain kinds have been coordinating attacks."
  149. [20:58] * Cait shrugs.
  150. [20:58] <KamenWriter> <Normal types aren't a single contingent though.>
  151. [20:58] <KamenWriter> Says Mew
  152. [20:59] <Elsa> <There is the possibility that something else could be influencing them.>
  153. [20:59] * Karsten thinks about that.
  154. [20:59] <KamenWriter> <There are many different kinds of 'normal' types, and they don't all flock together like other types tend to.>
  155. [20:59] <Karsten> "Ah, I see."
  156. [21:00] <KamenWriter> <An Ursaring and a Snorlax certainly wouldn't want to do the same things as a Blissey and an Audino.>
  157. [21:00] <Ivan> "So zhen, perhaps zhere is different reason."
  158. [21:01] <Cait> "There were a few audino with the clefairies and jigglypuffs. maybe because they're pink?"
  159. [21:01] <KamenWriter> <What's wrong with pink?> :(
  160. [21:01] <Karsten> "Vell, sis is still raser puzzling. However, sere is one sing clear - ve must recover sis stone before sey use it for oser, less pleasant sings."
  161. [21:02] <Ivan> "Perhaps we can recover and destroy stone wizhout fight."
  162. [21:03] <KamenWriter> As you speak
  163. [21:03] <KamenWriter> You realize that the attack has started
  164. [21:03] <KamenWriter> It's a HUGE one too
  165. [21:03] <KamenWriter> Good thing you repaired the barricade because this would certainly have knocked it down
  166. [21:03] <Cait> "I don't have anything wrong with it! Its a manly color...shit." She looks out.
  167. [21:03] * Karsten groans as he looks out the window.
  168. [21:04] <KamenWriter> Everyone make a combat check for your shift.
  169. [21:04] * Elsa lights fires in both her hands, <Such an interesting chance to test this out.>
  170. [21:04] <Karsten> "And here I vas hoping to get some better rest. Sey seem to be pouring everysing sey have into sis..."
  171. [21:04] <Elsa> 6d6+4
  172. [21:04] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, 6d6+4: 30 [6d6=4,6,2,5,5,4]
  173. [21:04] * Karsten blinks at Elsa and then gulps, a bit.
  174. [21:05] <KamenWriter> Alright
  175. [21:05] <KamenWriter> Everyone else?
  176. [21:05] <Karsten> 4d6+3
  177. [21:05] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, 4d6+3: 13 [4d6=1,1,3,5]
  178. [21:05] <Cait> 5d6+2
  179. [21:05] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 5d6+2: 17 [5d6=3,5,2,2,3]
  180. [21:05] <Ivan> 3d6+2 Combat
  181. [21:05] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Combat: 15 [3d6=2,5,6]
  182. [21:06] <Rudiger> 5d6+3 Kombat
  183. [21:06] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, Kombat: 13 [5d6=2,1,2,1,4]
  184. [21:06] <KamenWriter> Alright, cool
  185. [21:07] <KamenWriter> You all do a great job of defending the camp
  186. [21:07] <KamenWriter> The barricade is in pretty good shape in the morning
  187. [21:07] <KamenWriter> You also all notice (Or perhaps you saw) that as soon as the sun rose in the morning Maestro the Clefable disappeared
  188. [21:08] * Karsten is sleeping slightly late, so he didn't see nothin
  189. [21:09] * Elsa decides to work on the barricade due to the fact that Karsten had to twice yesterday
  190. [21:10] <KamenWriter> Alright. Day 9
  191. [21:12] <KamenWriter> Oh also, feel free and take off 3 injuries for resting and bonding all day on day 8 Rudiger.
  192. [21:12] <KamenWriter> Because Karsten is an awesome doctor
  193. [21:13] <KamenWriter> First of all, lets start with...
  194. [21:13] <KamenWriter> Elsa repairs the barricade. It isn't very broken, so this is basically all that's needed.
  195. [21:14] * Elsa gives Anbruch a electric TM while she works
  196. [21:15] <Karsten> (4 injuries :3 I have a feature for that)
  197. [21:15] <KamenWriter> Oh neat
  198. [21:15] <KamenWriter> You heard the man, Rudiger. 4 injuries
  199. [21:15] <Rudiger> (More like 1 injury left :3)
  200. [21:15] <KamenWriter> roll me 1d6, Elsa
  201. [21:15] <Elsa> 1d6
  202. [21:16] <DiceMaid-9001> Elsa, 1d6: 3 [1d6=3]
  203. [21:16] <KamenWriter> Congrats. You learned Charge Beam
  204. [21:18] <KamenWriter> ALRIGHT
  205. [21:18] <KamenWriter> Let's hop over to Cait
  206. [21:18] <KamenWriter> Roll a bonding check with Aqua pls
  207. [21:19] <Cait> 2d6+2
  208. [21:19] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 2d6+2: 6 [2d6=2,2]
  209. [21:19] <Cait> charm, doesn't do a good job :B
  210. [21:19] <KamenWriter> Aqua isn't so impressed today.
  211. [21:19] <KamenWriter> As for Rudiger. He hobbles over to the river
  212. [21:19] <KamenWriter> And picks up where Cait left off.
  213. [21:20] <KamenWriter> Are you gonna just work on the bridge on the shore or are you actually going to try putting it in the water?
  214. [21:20] * Rudiger (Gents@70A65716.B74CD33E.6BF78421.IP) Quit ( Ping timeout )
  215. [21:20] <KamenWriter> Because Cait left all of her work on the side of th-okay then
  216. [21:21] <KamenWriter> Karsten
  217. [21:21] <KamenWriter> You're visiting Shaymin
  218. [21:21] * Rudiger (Gents@1770053F.B74CD33E.6BF78421.IP) has joined #OverthereGame
  219. [21:21] <Karsten> Yup.
  220. [21:21] <Karsten> But also willing to wait for Rudiger to hobble his ass back in from pinging.
  221. [21:21] <Karsten> ~
  222. [21:21] <KamenWriter> Rudiger: Are you gonna just work on the bridge on the shore or are you actually going to try putting it in the water?
  223. [21:22] <Rudiger> hmmm i think he'd try to put it in the water
  224. [21:22] <KamenWriter> K
  225. [21:22] <KamenWriter> Are you sure?
  226. [21:22] <KamenWriter> The river still looks very wild
  227. [21:22] <Rudiger> UH
  228. [21:23] <Rudiger> Why not yeah he willl
  229. [21:23] <KamenWriter> Okay.
  230. [21:23] <Rudiger> also I'll slap on an Electric Mushroom on my Driflooon
  231. [21:24] <KamenWriter> You place it in the water. the Bridge is actually finished, from all of Cait and your's work. You could cross.
  232. [21:24] * Rudiger goes to inform the OTHERS
  233. [21:24] <KamenWriter> Roll me 1d4 for your Drifloon
  234. [21:25] <Rudiger> 1d4
  235. [21:25] <DiceMaid-9001> Rudiger, 1d4: 2 [1d4=2]
  236. [21:25] <KamenWriter> Drifloon learns Thunder
  237. [21:26] <KamenWriter> Alright, at the end of the afternoon, Rudiger informs y'all that the bridge is finished
  238. [21:26] <KamenWriter> However, let's get everyone up to speed first.
  239. [21:26] <KamenWriter> Karsten:
  240. [21:26] <KamenWriter> You head to the east to find Shaymin's grove
  241. [21:27] <KamenWriter> It's fairly simple. Flying types still hang around the area, but they don't really mind you anymore.
  242. [21:27] <KamenWriter> And there's little Shaymin napping in the morning sun
  243. [21:27] <KamenWriter> What do?
  244. [21:28] * Karsten sits down and enjoys the sun a little, himself, before looking over to the Shaymin. "Guten morgen." he says simply, waiting to see if he stirs.
  245. [21:29] <KamenWriter> Shaymin stirs
  246. [21:29] <KamenWriter> And then looks up
  247. [21:29] <KamenWriter> <Oh, hello>
  248. [21:29] <KamenWriter> <Good morning.>
  249. [21:30] * Karsten nods. "I do not sink ve ever met for very long if at all, but I am Karsten. I heard a little about you before."
  250. [21:30] <Karsten> "Good morning."
  251. [21:30] <KamenWriter> <I remember seeing you around the human town, but no.>
  252. [21:30] <KamenWriter> He gives a little bow <Pleased to meet you.>
  253. [21:31] <KamenWriter> <What are you doing here?>
  254. [21:31] * Karsten returns the gesture with a smile.
  255. [21:32] <Karsten> "I vas just sinking to myself - I do not sink ve have come sis vay except to rescue se captain from se Beedrills. I vas simply curious about you and vondering if you vere doing vell. And vanted to get to know you, of course."
  256. [21:33] <KamenWriter> <Oh.>
  257. [21:33] <KamenWriter> <Well, I'm okay.>
  258. [21:34] <KamenWriter> <How are you?> :o
  259. [21:35] <Karsten> "It vas Ivan who met you before, yes?" he scratches his head awkwardly. "Maybe it vould have been better for him to visit, but I thought I'd spare se zought. I'm quite fine, myself, have been thinking about a lot of sings since befriending Mew, but sat is not so important. I vill be more san fine. Sank you for asking." he smiles again.
  260. [21:37] <KamenWriter> <Mew? OH! You're the human Mew made friends with!>
  261. [21:37] <KamenWriter> <Is Mew with you now?> :D
  262. [21:37] <KamenWriter> <Hi Shaymin!> :D
  263. [21:37] <KamenWriter> Mew pops out of the ball
  264. [21:38] <Karsten> "Oh, you know each oser? Sat's good to hear." He seems happy to hear that.
  265. [21:38] <KamenWriter> The pink pokemon plops down on your shoulder and meows
  266. [21:38] * Karsten scratches Mew behind the ears.
  267. [21:38] <KamenWriter> <We don't get to see eachother much, but it's always fun to see Mew.> :D
  268. [21:40] <Karsten> He nods. "And of course you are velcome to visit venever. If sere is anysing ve can do as vell, do let us know. I noticed some pokemon had crowded out se false trees before after se departure of Virizion, so I helped sem. I do not mind spending time doing good like sat."
  269. [21:41] <KamenWriter> <Oh yeah! I did want to ask you guys if you could do something.> :o
  270. [21:41] <Karsten> "Mm?" he listens intently.
  271. [21:42] <KamenWriter> <He shivers a bit, and a few seeds fall out.>
  272. [21:42] <KamenWriter> Without brackets
  273. [21:42] <KamenWriter> Oops
  274. [21:42] <KamenWriter> He shivers a bit and a few seeds fall out
  275. [21:42] <KamenWriter> He then gestures for you to gather the seeds.
  276. [21:43] <KamenWriter> <There are some birds to the... the... uh... The thataway.> He points south
  277. [21:43] <KamenWriter> <It's a family of Pidoves. They aren't from around here and they didn't really hang around me.>
  278. [21:43] * Karsten takes the seeds, listening.
  279. [21:44] <KamenWriter> <They're endangered in your time, so I thought maybe when they got here they were too hungry to fly.>
  280. [21:44] <KamenWriter> <Could you help them? It won't take too long.>
  281. [21:45] * Karsten nods. "Of course I vill." he dumps the seeds into a special satchel he hasn't made any use of yet.
  282. [21:45] * Karsten seems a little sad to hear they're endangered, he didn't really know the specifics back home, more than likely.
  283. [21:46] <KamenWriter> He nods
  284. [21:46] <KamenWriter> <Thank you. Come back here when you're done, okay?>
  285. [21:46] <Karsten> "Anysing to make sings a bit more comfortable for sem. Sure sing."
  286. [21:46] <KamenWriter> <I'll give you something good.> :D
  287. [21:46] * Karsten stands up. "A revard? You don't need to, of course... but I von't say no, either." he smiles.
  288. [21:47] <Karsten> "I'll be back in a bit, sen."
  289. [21:48] <KamenWriter> Shaymin waits :3
  290. [21:48] <KamenWriter> You walk south.
  291. [21:48] <KamenWriter> It's not a very long walk.
  292. [21:48] <KamenWriter> But its far enough away that it's clear the birds weren't acting to defend Shaymin like the others were.
  293. [21:49] <KamenWriter> Eventually, you come across a group of five Pidoves roosting together on a tree branch
  294. [21:49] <KamenWriter> As well as one Pidove standing on the ground, cooing.
  295. [21:49] <KamenWriter> It seems to move strangely. As if it's hurt.
  296. [21:50] <KamenWriter> Their heads turn to look at you as you approach, but they do not flee.
  297. [21:51] <KamenWriter> What do?
  298. [21:51] <Karsten> He frowns as he sees this, and kneels down to the ground, taking out the satchel of seeds. "{So you were some of the ones we saw when we arrived, hm? Poor things... Mew, could you try to tell this one I wish to help it? I'll feed them all after attending to the injury."
  299. [21:51] <Karsten> }
  300. [21:52] <KamenWriter> Mew does indeed tell the Pidove so.
  301. [21:52] <KamenWriter> The Pidove on the ground turns his body towards you.
  302. [21:52] * Karsten takes out his medical kit and eases over to the injured pidove, trying not to scare it, and looks over the thing.
  303. [21:53] <KamenWriter> And you notice that there is a large bullet hole, right through the bird's breast.
  304. [21:53] <KamenWriter> This bird shouldn't be alive.
  305. [21:53] <KamenWriter> MINOR KINDNESSES SHALL NOT SAVE YOU
  306. [21:53] <KamenWriter> Says a voice absolutely BOOMING in your mind
  307. [21:54] <KamenWriter> YOU SHALL BE DESTROYED, AS I HAVE DECREED IT
  308. [21:54] * Karsten looks up, bewildered.
  309. [21:54] <KamenWriter> It's coming from the Pidoves.
  310. [21:54] <KamenWriter> They are all looking at you
  311. [21:54] <KamenWriter> With wide eyes and bulletholes riddling their bodies
  312. [21:55] <KamenWriter> And then, there is a bright flash.
  313. [21:56] * Karsten tries to shield his eyes.
  314. [21:56] <KamenWriter> After a moment, the flash subsides.
  315. [21:56] <KamenWriter> And there is a pidove corpse
  316. [21:56] <Karsten> ...
  317. [21:56] <Karsten> D:
  318. [21:56] <KamenWriter> The other four are nowhere to be found.
  319. [21:56] <KamenWriter> This one has no bulletholes in it. It appears to have been attacked by an animal and left for dead
  320. [21:56] <Karsten> "{What in the world...?}"
  321. [21:57] * Karsten slumps a little bit, looking at Mew, just... confused and a bit sad.
  322. [21:57] <KamenWriter> Maybe this is the pidove that Shaymin was talking about. It seems you're too late.
  323. [21:57] <KamenWriter> Mew looks absolutely terrified
  324. [21:58] <KamenWriter> He is clinging to your shoulder and his eyes are wide
  325. [21:58] <KamenWriter> <Lets... lets go back to Shaymin.>
  326. [21:58] * Karsten thinks about this a moment and swallows hard as he comes to a realisation.
  327. [21:58] * Karsten nods.
  328. [21:58] <Karsten> "...{Alright...}"
  329. [21:59] * Karsten doesn't know whether he should bury the poor thing or not, but eventually... decides against it. This is the way of the wild, as sad as it is.
  330. [22:00] * Karsten stands up and hurries back to Shaymin.
  331. [22:00] <KamenWriter> When you come back into the grove, Shaymin is happy to see you
  332. [22:00] <KamenWriter> But then his face falls when he sees the expression on yours and Mew's faces
  333. [22:00] <KamenWriter> <What happened? Are the pidoves okay?> D:
  334. [22:00] <Karsten> "Ve... vere too late. I apologize. Sey did not make it."
  335. [22:01] <KamenWriter> <Oh.> :(
  336. [22:01] <KamenWriter> <What happened? What did you see?>
  337. [22:02] <Karsten> "Sey... sey.. appeared to be alive... and sen... sere vas a great and terrible voice proclaiming sat my actions vould not save us, sat ve vould still be destroyed." he struggles in saying this.
  338. [22:03] <KamenWriter> <O-oh?> D:
  339. [22:03] <Karsten> "And sen... sey were not."
  340. [22:03] <KamenWriter> <It was...>
  341. [22:03] <KamenWriter> Mew gives a glance upwards. Shaymin understands suddenly :o
  342. [22:03] * Karsten nods as well. "...I sought as much."
  343. [22:04] <KamenWriter> <Oh gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't know.>
  344. [22:04] <KamenWriter> He rushes up and climbs up onto your shoe, hugging onto you in apology, <I'm sorry.> ;_;
  345. [22:04] <KamenWriter> <But... thank you for doing what I asked.>
  346. [22:05] <Karsten> "No, no, it is okay. I vas not doing it for our salvation in any case. I am just sad sat I vas too late for se birds." he puts a comforting hand on Shaymin. :<
  347. [22:05] <KamenWriter> <Well... I'll give you the good thing anyway. okay?>
  348. [22:05] <KamenWriter> He then HNNNGGGGS for a moment
  349. [22:05] <Karsten> "You don't have to vorry about a sing like sat, Shaymin, really..."
  350. [22:05] <KamenWriter> And in a moment a large sunflower grows up in three seconds
  351. [22:05] * Karsten watches in concern though.
  352. [22:06] <KamenWriter> "Here."
  353. [22:06] <KamenWriter> <This will make Grass type attacks stronger.> :D
  354. [22:06] <KamenWriter> <Take it please.>
  355. [22:06] * Karsten sighs a bit, but smiles. "Sank you. It is much appreciated, regardless of vat happened."
  356. [22:07] * Karsten plucks the sunflower as gently as he can, considering the size.
  357. [22:07] <KamenWriter> You got a type booster: Grass
  358. [22:07] * Karsten then reaches into his satchel and takes the seeds back out. "I sink I should return sese as vell."
  359. [22:07] <KamenWriter> The Merry Sunflower item
  360. [22:07] <KamenWriter> <Thank you. I'll plant them somewhere.>
  361. [22:08] * Karsten nods again, a bit sadly.
  362. [22:08] <KamenWriter> <Or maybe give them to Mrs. Honchkrow's kids.>
  363. [22:08] <Karsten> "Verever you sink sey vill do good, please do."
  364. [22:09] <Karsten> "I love to vatch plants grow, myself..."
  365. [22:09] <Karsten> "...In any case, I suppose I should be getting back. I have even more to sink about now, I believe."
  366. [22:10] <KamenWriter> <Okay.>
  367. [22:10] <KamenWriter> <Come back anytime!> D:
  368. [22:10] * Karsten nods. "Of course I vill."
  369. [22:11] <Karsten> "And se same goes for you."
  370. [22:11] * Karsten bows again, and starts to leave, a bit more melancholy than before. At least Mew will probably eventually go back to his cheery self.
  371. [22:12] <KamenWriter> Alright. You head back
  372. [22:12] <KamenWriter> And now a bunch of bonding checks before CLEFABLE ADVENTURES
  373. [22:12] <KamenWriter> Ivan
  374. [22:13] <Ivan> Ahem
  375. [22:13] <KamenWriter> Petnya and Leonya. For Karsten: Greta's bonding check
  376. [22:13] <Ivan> 2#3d6+1 Charm

  378. [22:14] <Karsten> 4d6+3 Karsten goes off on the usual playfight romp with Greta, a bit sad at first, but it quickly serves to distract him from his own thoughts.
  379. [22:14] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, Karsten goes off on the usual playfight romp with Greta, a bit sad at first, but it quickly serves to distract him from his own thoughts.: 16 [4d6=3,4,2,4]
  380. [22:14] <KamenWriter> Petya isn't so impressed today
  381. [22:15] <KamenWriter> Leonya, however, he's pretty happy
  382. [22:15] <KamenWriter> Greta, however, is quite happy with his romping.
  383. [22:16] <KamenWriter> She's getting closer to you
  384. [22:17] <KamenWriter> Loyalty 1.
  385. [22:18] * Elsa does attempt to get across to Vindhler that it's time for most of the games to be stopping, shits going to go down soon probably

  390. [22:18] <Elsa> (No I didn't?)
  391. [22:18] <Elsa> (That was yesterdays one before)
  392. [22:19] <KamenWriter> Ah ok
  393. [22:19] <KamenWriter> Fair enough then
  394. [22:19] <KamenWriter> Vindhler is happy to play.
  395. [22:19] <KamenWriter> And while he plays oh look at that! He's growing
  396. [22:20] <KamenWriter> With the faint smell of cooking bacon, soon Vindhler has evolved!
  397. [22:20] <KamenWriter> HOWEVER
  398. [22:20] * Elsa attempts to not drool in front of him
  399. [22:20] <KamenWriter> Rudiger comes back before the evening slot
  400. [22:21] <KamenWriter> Rudiger, do you tell everyone you put the bridge in the river?
  401. [22:21] <Rudiger> Yes
  402. [22:21] <KamenWriter> Alright
  403. [22:21] <KamenWriter> Everyone: Rudiger appears to have put the bridge in the river
  404. [22:21] * Rudiger informs everyone he specifically did things when he wasn't supposed to move, but hey BRIDGE
  405. [22:22] <Cait> "So you finished the bridge?"
  406. [22:22] <Cait> "You made sure it wasn't going to fall over right?"
  407. [22:23] <Rudiger> "I.... sink so?"
  408. [22:23] <Rudiger> "Not sure if all at once"
  409. [22:23] <Ivan> "I still zhink ve should just fly over."
  410. [22:23] <Elsa> <Hrm, I look forward to seeing what you've put together.>
  411. [22:24] <Elsa> <We are going to attempt an attack on a group of fairies that have the stone though.>
  412. [22:25] <Elsa> <So the bridge will need to hold together until at least tomorrow midday.>
  413. [22:25] * Karsten hmms
  414. [22:25] <Rudiger> "I sink... Keep vatch at night?"
  415. [22:26] <Karsten> "Vell... it sounds like good job but you vere not supposed to be out of bed yet." He scowls.
  416. [22:27] <Karsten> "Let us hope se captain and Cait's work combined vill hold out."
  417. [22:27] * Rudiger looks at Karsten. "I felt useless... Least could do!" He retorts, though a bit more like a child being scolded by his mother
  418. [22:27] <Cait> "It should."
  419. [22:28] * Karsten can't really stay mad at Rudiger.
  420. [22:28] <Rudiger> "Yes, Cait capable strong vomen."
  421. [22:29] <KamenWriter> And so you decide to head to the west to investigate the strange goings on.
