  1. The First Bill of Rights Submitted to the /pol/ Senate mere hours after it's creation.

  3. Article 1 Equality
  4. The government shall not abridge the rights of the people, nor shall the people be denied equal protection of the law, on the basis of color, gender, language, religion, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, geographical residence or socio-economic status.

  6. Article 2 Right to Life, Liberty and Security of Person
  7. The government shall not deny any person the right to life or security of person, or the right to liberty without due process of law, or the right of the people to use arms in defense of these rights.
  8.  
  9. The government must extend the equal protection of the law to prohibit persons from arbitrarily depriving life, liberty or the security of the person from any other person.
  10.  
  11. Article 3 Slavery
  12. The government must ensure by law that no person may be compelled to involuntary servitude, except as for punishment for a crime, and prohibit the trafficking and sale of persons into bondage.

  14. Article 4 Humane Treatment
  15. The government shall not require any cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment as punishment for a crime nor shall it permit any person to be subjected to torture while in the government's custody.

  17. Article 5 Legal Person-hood
  18. All people are entitled to recognition under the law as a person imbued with these rights and all citizens are entitled to the civil privileges guaranteed by this constitution.

  20. The government shall not abridge the right of the people to assemble as a cooperative or corporation nor shall any tribunal deny its recognition as a person under the law.

  22. Article 6 Right to Redress
  23. The government shall not abridge the right of the people to petition for a redress of grievances, and the equal protection of these rights, by a competent tribunal.

  25. Article 7 Arbitrary Interference in Liberty
  26. The government may not subject any person to arrest or detention without probable cause of imminent threat to the public safety or, a signed warrant issued upon probable cause by a competent tribunal particularly describing the person to be detained and detailing the alleged violation of the law.

  28. No person shall be exiled as a condition of punishment if they are a citizen of the nation.

  30. Article 8 Right to Hearing
  31. The government shall provide, for defendants accused of a violation of the law, a fair and public hearing by a competent and impartial tribunal to determine if there is probable cause to bring the defendant to trial and to afford the opportunity to respond against such charges.

  33. Article 9 Right to Due Process
  34. Any person accused of a violation of the law shall be guaranteed the presumption of innocence until they are found guilty in a public trial, during which the accused was provided legal counsel and the ability to defend himself, by calling and questioning witnesses and by cross-examination of the evidence presented against him.

  36. Any person on trial shall be afforded by the government the right to a trial within a reasonable time after the alleged offense was committed and the right to be judged by a jury of the defendant's peers.

  38. No tribunal shall hold a person guilty or in contempt for any offense which did not constitute a violation of the law at the time the alleged offense was committed; Nor shall any punishment be imposed that is more severe than the punishment for the offense that was applicable at the time it was committed; Nor shall any person be tried for the same offense twice after having been previously found not guilty by tribunal.

  40. Article 10 Right to Privacy
  41. The government shall not interfere or trespass upon any person's personal affects or information, home, property or correspondence without a signed warrant by a competent tribunal issued upon probable cause and particularly describing the places, person or property to be searched and the specific things to be seized.

  43. The government shall not commit slanderous or libelous attacks on the honor and reputation of any person.

  45. Article 11 Right to Personal Autonomy
  46. The government may not prohibit the freedom of movement and residence within the nation of any adult person, except when there is an imminent threat to public safety or when such movement or residence violates the right to exclude others from private property, or persons being held or on probation for a crime.

  48. The government may not prevent any person from emigrating freely from the nation, nor shall it prohibit their return.

  51. Article 12 Right to Asylum
  52. The government shall provide all persons within its jurisdiction asylum from persecution or imminent threat to life or health, with the exception of persons convicted by due process of non-political crimes.

  54. The government shall not deny the right to stay and appeal a refusal of asylum to a competent tribunal.

  56. Article 13 Citizenship
  57.  
  58. The government shall not deny any person the equal opportunity to apply for citizenship in accordance with the standards established by law, nor shall the government be permitted to revoke the citizenship of any person, nor shall any person be prohibited from renouncing or changing their citizenship, nor shall any person born within the political boundaries of the nation be denied citizenship and full protection of the law.

  60. Article 14 Familial Rights
  61. The government must not deny a petition for marriage between any consenting adult on the basis of color, nationality, religion, sexual orientation or gender, nor shall the government deny them the equal opportunity to procreate, adopt or to have legal guardianship over their wards.

  63. The government shall not permit any person to compel another person into marriage without the free and full consent of the intending spouses.
  64.  
  65. The government shall give recognition to the rights of guardians as guardians of their wards under the law.

  67. Article 15 Right to Private Property
  68. The government shall not deny any person, nor permit any person to deny any other person, of the right of lawfully acquired private property without due process by a competent tribunal upon determination of a harm requiring restitution or for necessary and proper public use.
  69.  
  70. The government shall provide just compensation for any private property seized, or limited in utility, for public use; nor shall the government deny the right of the property holder to appeal such seizure to a competent tribunal for a redress of grievances.

  72. The government shall uphold the law of obligation for lawful contracts between mutually consenting parties without prejudice to the claims of either party to the contract or of any other party.

  75. Article 16 Freedom of Conscience
  76. The government shall not abridge the freedom of conscience or of free worship, or the right to change religious or political affiliation, or the freedom to practice, publicly and privately, any teaching, observance or creed.

  78. The government shall not provide any support on behalf of any sectarian religious belief, nor shall the government compel any person to accept any religion, creed, belief or political philosophy.

  80. Article 17 Freedom of Expression
  81. The government shall not abridge the freedom of expression or association, nor prohibit the people from peacefully assembling to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
  82.  
  83. The government shall not compel, or permit any person from being compelled, to belong to any particular organization.
  84.  
  85. Article 18 Civil Participation
  86. The government shall permit all adult citizens to take part in the governance of the nation through freely elected representatives.
  87.  
  88. The government shall not deny the equal access of all citizens to public service, by either appointment or candidacy for office.
  89.  
  90. The government shall uphold the will of the citizens by ensuring the consent of the governed through periodic, transparent and genuinely free and impartial elections.
  91.  
  92. No adult citizen shall be denied the right to vote, by secret ballot, in any election based on color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, socio-economic status or religion.

  94. Article 19 Rights of Labor
  95. The government shall not deny, nor permit any other person to deny, the right of the people to form trade unions or to discontinue employment with any employer; nor shall the government permit any person to impose dangerous work conditions on another person without their informed consent.

  98. Article 20 Rights of the Guardian
  99. The government shall not abridge the right of guardians to choose the provision of education and health care, and to make legal decisions, for their wards within the commonly accepted common law standards of minimal welfare for the ward.
  100.  
  101. Article 21 Intellectual Property
  102. The government shall provide for the protection of intellectual properties of persons, affording them exclusive rights, within a reasonable time limit.
  103.  
  104. The government shall not construe any fair use of intellectual properties, not constituting an actual harm, as a violation of the law.
  105.  
  106. Article 22 Enforcement of Rights
  107. The government shall guarantee protection of these rights, under the law, by enforcing these standards on all constituent governments within the nation.
  108.  
  109. Article 23 Disparagement by Construction
  110. The recognition of such rights under this constitution shall not be construed as to permit the government or permit any person to deny or injure any other person's rights guaranteed herein.

  112. Article 24 Amendment Process
  113. The people have the right to amend these rights by a fair process established by law, and including the participation of all citizens, by either referendum or through elected representatives.
