Gen 8 ZU Main Team Notes

I'm technically a beginner.  I used to play on Showdown as a kid a few years back, but I mostly just put my favorite Uber and OU Pokemon on my team in AG and tried to brute force my way through battles with no strategy.  This is my first serious team.

Team was built starting off of Ninetales, because Vulpix and Ninetales are some of my favorite Pokemon.  Team is meant to be mostly offensive.

Shiftry and Luxray are the primary offensive pair, usually what I use first.  Gurdurr and Silvally-Poison are the bulk of the team.

Silvally in particular is best for being switched in when the opponent is about to faint, poisoning them with Toxic, poisoning their replacement with Toxic, using Rest to heal, using Sleep Talk for the two sleeping turns, then using Last Resort when waking up.  Then whenever it's health gets low, I use Rest and Sleep Talk again.  Now that I'm writing this and thinking about it, I'm probably going to swap out Toxic for Poison Fang.  Early versions of this team had Silvally using Grass Pledge or Poison Fang instead of Last Resort.

Ninetales is meant to be a speedy mixed scarf user, and Frosmoth is a U-Turn user.

I choose either Shiftry or Luxray depending on what type I think my opponent's team might use first.  After that I use whatever type matchups seem best.
