100% Route Theory Palace HP and Magic Bean before Sonata

Theory Route: Palace HP and Magic Bean before Sonata (JP)

* There are some pros of the Theory route if it happens to be faster. First of all, it is currently possible to beat the postman to anju if you don't do h&d 1 before room key, so this route uses up some extra igt before room key to avoid the need for this. Also, this route does not do monkey text skip (because of the HP text), so it should be easier for a human to consistently execute. Also, this will save a bomb (or 2 bombs if you use a bomb in butler race) which is good because this is right before STT which uses a lot of bombs. (Note: For Butler Race, you can jump on the fire platforms without hitting the switch to skip the switch cs which is a bit under 2s, but this saves a bomb and is more lenient than it might first appear. An alternative option is to just slash the switch with your sword and then jump to grab the ledge and this is about the same speed as the bomb strat because you can goron roll for longer instead of pulling a bomb.)

current = 45.66 + 1.98 + 20.57 + 68.83 = 137.04

Theory:
*Hidden owl > Superslide past SCT guard > superslide to swamp gossips grotto = 37.46
*last mega in grotto ae > enter bean side > buy bean > exit bean grotto > gainer (can use torch) to connecting grotto > enter sonata side > palace hp > enter grotto > enter sonata side = 40.22 + 14.87 = 55.09
*Enter Sonata room > equip deku > sonata = 25:46.82 to 26:18.69 (camera shifts to deku) = 31.87
*Deposit Princess > turn goron right away > enter butler race = 17.81

theory = 37.46 + 55.09 + 31.87 + 17.81 = 142.23

on enter sonata segment, monkey text skip saves 31.87-20.57 = 11.3s
in clock town, ISoT storage wastes about 45.66-37.46 = 8.2s
Thus, overall monkey text skip saves about 11.3 - 8.2 = 3.1s
