I want to study psychology, because I'm very interested in it. A few years ago I found out how fascinating this topic can be. There was a psychologist at TV talking about her work with psychopaths. Since that moment I couldn’t resist and started to read about this topic. I bought many books about psychology and got more and more fascinated by it. I always wanted to understand the purpose of how people act and what they try to say with their specific facial expressions, words or gestures. That's what I hope to learn during the field of study. Particularly the work with a psychopath interests me the most and increases my ambition to become someday a forensic psychologist . It's not just the wish to help people that motivates me to learn psychology, it's rather the fascination of all subjects that are taught studying the field of psychology. Before I found out what I really want to learn I started a commercial education, but found out that it's not the kind of job I want to do for the rest of my life. Because of that I cancelled my job and started to search for something more interesting. Eventually I can’t' really define one specific aspect of psychology which makes me want to study it, but I cant' imagine any subject to be negative or boring. Ultimately that is in my opinion the reason why studying psychology is the perfect choice for myself.
