  17.
  18. For some reason I'm trying update my private nameservers but the system is telling me that the domain is not found for some reason.
  19.
  20.
  21. David M.
  22.
  23. What nameservers are you using?
  24. You

  26.
  27.
  28. Trying to set these private nameservers to work with the new dedicated server that we got:
  29.
  30. 104.203.236.217 -ns1
  31. 104.203.236.218 - ns2
  32.
  33.
  34. However it goes through and says that the name servers already is there, however when I try to remove it then it says the domain isn't found so I seem to be stuck in a loop haha
  35.

  37. David M.
  38.
  39. I do not see the dedicated server on your account. I see the domain "hostoverlord.com" on it. Do you have a separate account with us that has the dedicated server?
  40. You
  41.
  42. For the dedicated server its to a datacenter in Dallas.
  43. David M.
  44.
  45. Are you trying to update the nameservers for the domain "hostoverlord.com"?
  46.

  48. You
  49.
  50. I'm trying to set the private name servers and then set them on the domain name. Mainly at least update the ips on the name servers
  51. David M.
  52.
  53. If you are having trouble setting up private nameservers for a server that is not part of our network, you should contact the company that hosts your dedicated server. I did not find any dedicated server on your account with us.

  57.
  58. So setting the name servers and getting this error on your website?
  59.
  60. "Unable to delete name server. The registry said: Domain cannot be found."
  61.
  62. https://core.surpasshosting.com/domains/nameservers/id/4176#The changes are done on the dedicated, however I'm needing to update the dns on the domain name.
  63.

  65. David M.
  66.
  67. The instructions should be similar to this: http://www.hostdime.com/resources/update-dns-nameservers-domain-registered-hostdime/.
  68. You
  69.
  70. Yeah that has been completed already. However I'm trying to edit or remove and add back in the private name servers with the updated IPs in your Custom Name Server Tools page. Before I was able to do this just fine before the move to enom last year. Would this be the reason why I'm getting the errors now?
  71.
  72.
  73. David M.
  74.
  75. What I think is best, is to create a support ticket to investigate further.
