  1. Springing up with an intense force, Eugeo drew out the Blue
  2. Rose Sword that he had been gripping onto the entire time in a
  3. single stroke.
  4.
  5. “Enhance......”
  6.
  7. Spinning it in midair, switching it to an underhand grip, he
  8. supported the grip with his left hand as well and thrust it into the
  9. marble floor with all the strength he could muster.
  10.
  11. “—Armament!!”
  12.
  13. Close to half of the pale-blue blade sunk deep into the floor.
  14.
  15. Bashiiii!! Accompanied by a sharp, explosive noise, the marble
  16. floor was instantaneously covered in a pure-white frost.
  17.
  18. As crystalline icicles pointedly stabbed upwards, a frigid wave
  19. burst forth at a breakneck speed.
  20.
  21. Approximately five seconds after activation, the frigid wave
  22. with a breadth close to ten mel engulfed Kirito and Fanatio, along
  23. with the four knights, at their feet.
  24.
  25. It appeared the four knights finally noticed the strange
  26. phenomenon with that. The faces covered by their helmets
  27. jerked and turned to look at him.
  28.
  29. But it was too late.
  30.
  31. While Eugeo put all the strength he had into his two hands, he
  32. shouted out loud.
  33.
  34. “Bloom—Blue Rose Swoord!!”
  35.
  36. Countless pale blue icy tendrils grew upwards in an instant,
  37. towards the four knights, Fanatio, and Kirito from their feet.
  38. Each tendril was only as thick as a pinky finger. But all of
  39. them grew prickly thorns, densely packed together, firmly
  40. digging into their prey's legs.
  41.
  42. “Nhn...”
  43.
  44. “Wh-What!?”
  45.
  46. The knights collectively cried out. Innumerous icy tendrils
  47. had already crept up to their waists and abdomens along their
  48. legs. There were some who belatedly attempted to prune away
  49. the tendrils with their great swords, but the tendrils wrapped
  50. around the blades repeatedly upon contact, shackling them onto
  51. the floor.
  52.
  53. The knights assailed by the tendrils, from their chests to their
  54. heads, even down to their fingertips, were frozen into ice
  55. sculptures incapable of the slightest movement. Eventually, from
  56. the tendrils that obstinately entwined around their quarry while
  57. letting out sharp 'kin' noises blossomed a limitless number of
  58. large roses, colored in a profound blue and preceded by the
  59. reverberation of an exceptionally lucid chime.
  60.
  61. Naturally, all of that was cold ice. No honey or fragrance was
  62. produced by their solid and transparent petals, but in their place,
  63. the roses began emanating a white chill. The air within the entire
  64. cloister was shrouded in a thick mist at once, glittering and
  65. sparkling. The source of the chill—was the captured knights'
  66. Lives.
  67.
  68. The speed of reduction was exceedingly gradual, but they
  69. could not muster the strength necessary to break their bonds
  70. while the ice roses leeched Life from the entirety of their bodies.
  71. In the first place, this art ritual wasn't meant for killing enemies.
  72. Eugeo decided on the art's nature solely for the goal of retarding
  73. Integrity Knight Alice's movement.
