Auriona says 'And what do you think of what Alayla Sedai had to say?'

Sybrina says 'I think I am not experienced enough and I need more time to train and, if the Creator
be good, discern my path.'

Auriona nods once, appearing satisfied.

Sybrina says 'And that I should check my tongue less I spend more time on the paths.'

Sybrina frowns.

Auriona arches her eyebrow and smiles slightly.

Auriona says 'Oh?'

Sybrina rubs at her thumb blisters absently.

Sybrina nods quickly obviously embarassed.

Auriona searches out your gaze.

Sybrina says 'oh.  I...um, we had an argument about the man...Lamont.  '

Auriona says 'We?'

Sybrina says 'Alayla Sedai and I.  I mean and me, yes that.'

Sybrina says 'No I.'

Sybrina wrinkles her brow and blushes.

Sybrina says 'Lady Amrilyn will not be pleased with that mistake.'

Auriona nods once through a puzzled expression.

Auriona says 'I see.'

Auriona says 'Lamont is a complicated character.'

Auriona says 'Obviously, you are aware of his past.'

Auriona says 'And present.'

Sybrina says 'Only stories.'

Sybrina says 'Aes Sedai, I mean, only stories, Aes Sedai.  Auriona Sedai.'

Sybrina nods.

Auriona says 'Breathe, child.'

Sybrina nods and bites at her left thumbnail.

Auriona says 'So then, I don't need any details. '

Auriona says 'Bite your tongue like you do that thumb or yours.'

Auriona says 'But more gently.'

Sybrina looks down and nods taking her hand quickly from her mouth.

Sybrina clenches her thumb she was biting into her fist.

Auriona says 'In time you will be able to confront the world as a proven initiate of the White Tower.'

Auriona says 'For now, however, you are small.'

Auriona says 'I see that you're observant. Continue to train your eye.'

Auriona says 'See things a bit more broadly, perhaps.'

Sybrina looks around at the ground and nods.

Sybrina says 'Auriona Sedai, I do not wish you to think me weak minded for my wariness of the
Vescovi man.  '

Sybrina says 'If you need assistance with...those places we went to again, I wish to help.'

Auriona says 'I do not think you weak-minded, Sybrina. The opposite is true.'

Auriona says 'Lamont Vescovi is a dangerous man capable of atrocious behavior.'

Sybrina nods quickly looks at her hands folded together in front of her.

Auriona says 'I hope you don't think me compromised by looking past those facts, but'

Auriona shrugs slightly.

Auriona says 'It is no matter.'

Auriona says 'We must forge unfavorable alliances at times.'

Sybrina says 'I...dont know.  I will not leave him alone with the defenseless.  not again.  It was
my fault, and I will not let it happen again.  I told him...I told him I did not trust him.  He did
it because of me.'

Sybrina swallows hard.

Sybrina says 'He did it becasue of me.'

Auriona says 'Indeed he did.'

Auriona says 'He fed your fear with cruelty.'

Auriona says 'Sometimes men are the beasts that we make them.'

Auriona says 'Sometimes the way we treat a person causes them to prove that they are what we think they
are.'

Auriona frowns, her face darkening.

Auriona says 'But it is not your fault.'

Sybrina shakes her head.

Sybrina says 'I should not have lefther alone.'

Auriona nods once and looks you up and down.

Sybrina says 'Just like Lyssa.  Just like the wine baron's little girl.'

Sybrina puts her hand up to her face and turns away.

Auriona watches you intently.

Auriona draws an embroidered kerchief from her sleeve.

Sybrina drops her hand and lets out a breath.

Sybrina says 'I should...get back to my tasks.  I have much to do and....'

Auriona says 'As you will, Accepted.'

Sybrina nods.

Sybrina curtsies.
