This is a survey paper discussing CAP theorem in the context of distributed computing.
The authors did not solve any problem themselves. Rather they discuss the strategies proposed by others to cope with the problem of trade-off as implicated by CAP theorem.
No universal solution has been proposed in this paper. Rather the applicability of different strategies has been discussed.
