[13:12] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 When last we left our group, they had gotten themselves into Tenpony Tower with the help of a merchant who works from there. They had set Primer up in Doctor Helpinghoof's clinic to try and make sure she survived Keen's rather unorthodox but strangely effective fix-up.
[13:12] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Keen also managed to find some information on his long lost sister, while the rest of the group learned that Tenpony really does live up to it's reputation of luxury. What they do now, we shall see...
07[13:13] * +SmartCookie sits on his couche and silently observes the room.
07[13:13] * +Desert_Storm is not getting up. This bed was so comfortable, you'd need a spatula to pry her off of it. she snores quietly.
15[13:13] * +Karina wakes up from a fitful, and annoyed, sleep. It's hard to enjoy luxury when your hatred for the fact that it exists is constantly growing. She climbs out of bed and starts putting all her gear back on, cloak included.
07[13:14] * +Keen is currently asleep on his sister's moldy old mattress. It wasn't a Cloudsdale cloud on a balmy summer day, but it was as close to home as he felt in over a hundred years.
07[13:16] * +SmartCookie gets up from his couche and gears up again. He then searches around the room for a pen and paper.

07[13:18] * +SmartCookie eventually finds what he was looking for and scribbles on them: "Out, checking shops. May drop by, check on primer. - Cookie." He then leaves the room and heads for the elevator after putting the pad on the nightstand next to Storm.
07[13:20] * +Primer is having a disturbing dream where she is lashed to a boulder and a blue eagle fly down to peck out her liver.
04[13:20] * +SmartCookie closes in on Karina and asks: "Headed for the clinic aswell?"
07[13:20] * +Desert_Storm stirs a little. She opens on eye and sees nopony in the room with her. Perfect. She stretches out over the entirety of the bed and goes back to sleep. This made up for all those night watches, and it was amazing.
15[13:20] * +Karina nods as she enters the elevator and hits the button for the clinic's floor.
07[13:21] * +SmartCookie enters aswell.
15[13:23] * +Karina rides the elevator up and exits it, heading straight for Primer. She wants to get Primer and get out of here as fast as she can.

15[13:25] * +Karina looks for Helpinghoof or to see if Primer is awake when she steps inside.
04[13:25] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Doctor Helpinghoof is reading some displays on instruments hooked up to Primer. He turns around as the door to the clinic opsn and looks to Karina and Cookie; "Oh, good morning."
07[13:26] * +SmartCookie nods at the doctor and asks: "What's her status?"
07[13:26] * +Desert_Storm tosses about, finding it difficult to fall asleep again. Something was bothering her. Her eyes lazily opened. The room was still opened. She spots Cookies note and trudges out of the room, slipping her gear on as she headed for the elevator.
[13:27] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof shakes his head; "She is stable, although I can't say for sure when she'll wake up, given the extent of the modifications. However, she is showing increased synaptic activity over yesterday."
15[13:27] * +Karina "Is that good?"
07[13:27] * +SmartCookie nods and says: "Of course. Well let's hope it's for the better than for the worse..."
[13:28] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof nods; "It means her brain is working; possibly rebooting itself after the shock and trauma."
04[13:29] * +SmartCookie scritches his chin and says: "I still got some things to get done with... Mind if I go down to the shops?", looking to Karina.
15[13:29] * +Karina nods. She sits down and starts rubbing her eyes.
15[13:29] * +Karina "Go ahead."
07[13:30] * +SmartCookie trots outside and heads down the the market level of the tower.

07[13:31] * +Desert_Storm hops in the elevator. She guessed the others had already taken it. To the Clinic then.
15[13:31] * +Karina looks around at all the equipment and thinks about everything she's seen. She looks back at Helpinghoof. "So you guys don't have it very rough. How'd you get all this stuff?"
07[13:32] * +Primer starts to mumble and one of her hind legs twitch.
[13:32] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 In the market level of the tower, most of the shops are just starting to open up, with boredl ooking shop keepers turning over signs and unocking doors. A cart comes up through the cargo elevator to the level and enters, going around form shop to shop delivering things that were brought into the tower earlier that morning.
07[13:32] * +Desert_Storm trots slowly out of the elevator, in no hurry.
04[13:34] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof looks to Karina; "Well, before the war, this place was the headquarters for somethign called the Ministry of Arcane Science. If you've never heard of the Ministries, they were big government factions established during the war."
[13:35] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The door to the room Keen is in opens, and admits a single figure in a dark cloak. The figure trots in and stops near the bed, observing the sleeping pegasus and filly.
04[13:35] * +Primer continues to stir, Karina's familiar voice was tugging at her mind and she was slowly fighting her way to a waking state.
15[13:35] * +Karina blinks. Well there goes one theory. "You ever... go outside? Either you or your... medicine?" She looks over at Primer and walks over to her.
04[13:36] * +Desert_Storm spots Karina and Helpinghoof. With a nod, she joins Karina at Primer's side.
04[13:37] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof looks back at his instruments for a moment as Primer stirs, but isn't going to make any moves until she actually wakes up. He turns back to Karina; "Most of the time, the tower brings things in from scavengers. We aren't really in the habit of giving away things that might come back to bite us in the tail."
07[13:37] * +Keen is rather sleep deprived and is currently sleeping like a dead rock. Granted, his dreams were still rather unpleasant, something to do giving somepony an invention made of wax wings.
07[13:38] * +Primer 's grafted on prostetics comes online and the fingers twitch and scrabble weakly at the surface she was laying on.
15[13:38] * +Karina looks from Primer back to Helpinghoof. "What about to poe-ponies that won't bite you in the tail? Or is it just practice to tell all outsiders your services aren't for sale?"
[13:38] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 A glow comes from underneath the hood of the cloak, although the light does not seem to penetrate inside enough to reveal the wearer's face. The glow wraps first around Keen's head, then spreads over the rest of his body as the cloaked unicorn lifts him up with telekinesis and floats him away from the filly.

[13:39] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof shakes his head; "Our services -are- for sale, to those who can afford them. However, this palce has very strict laws in order to maintain order and prosperity here, so we can only do so much."

07[13:40] * +Desert_Storm watches Primer intently, half invested in what Helpinghoof was saying.

07[13:41] * +Primer 's breathing increases and becomes labored as mucus and other unidentifiable substances are in the way, finally she coughs several times and breathes better. Primer's hind legs curl up and she assumes the fetal position.
07[13:41] * +Fire_Lily was on the verge of waking before, and with the movement right next to her, she rolls over again, beginning to stir from her sleep.
07[13:42] * +SmartCookie walks into the shop and walks up to the counter, looking for the shopkeeper.
[13:42] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The cloaked figure takes Keen out of the room and closes the door. He takes the unconscious pegasus with him and onto the elevator, which heads up.
07[13:42] * +Desert_Storm recoils a little. "Hey, Helpinghoof. is she alright?"
15[13:42] * +Karina "What would you do if those laws you didn't have to face? If you and all your stuff was out in some other place?" She's trying to figure out how much of a doctor Helpinghoof is, not suggest that he leave.
[13:44] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof nods; "I have an obligation to protect what this tower has. We would be more willing to share if the wasteland outside weren't so... vile. Granted, there are plenty out there who could benefit from our services, and I am mroe than willing to impart what I can to others, but I have duties here." He turns around to check on Primer; "Good gracious, I think she's tryign to wake up."

15[13:44] * +Karina looks at Primer. "What if you could do both?"
07[13:45] * +Keen burbles lightly in his sleep as his dreams have seemed to have taken a turn for the... Boring. Huh. And he seems to have misplaced his genitalia. That's weird. And there's a horn on my head. Ooh, cool, so that's how telekinesis works. This is what Shimmer must have felt like. Weird. He would feel more disturbed if he weren't so unconscious.
07[13:46] * +Primer continues to fight her way to waking up, but at the cost of intense pain. "... hurts... I... *sob* I want mommy..." The burns and skin grafts grate as she moves and her lungs feel unnatural, her heart feels wrong too.
04[13:46] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof casts one look back at Karina; "We cannot always get everything we want. This is as good as it gets." He then turns his attention fully to monitoring Primer, tryign to make sure she isn't going to go into shock or have an anyeurism or something

07[13:57] * +Primer "What..." She fights back tears, she didn't dare open her eyes, for fear of what she'd see what was left of her. "What happened?" Her voice is coarse and weak...
[13:58] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof continues to monitor Primer's condition. Better to let her friends break the news
15[13:58] * +Karina "You got shot. A lot."
07[13:59] * +Desert_Storm nods. "Spirtfire did... a hell of a number on you."
07[14:00] * +Primer nods mutely, she was in too much discomfort and pain to act like a smart-ass. "... and?" She didn't dare complete the sentence and ask what was left of her.
07[14:00] * +Fire_Lily hops off the bed (It wasn't that comfy, but it was better than what she'd been sleeping on since she left home!) and stretches her legs out before deciding to find everypony else. She leaves the room to head toward the clinic, since that's where they surely were.
[14:00] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Down on the market level, Cookie is greeted at the machine shop by a tan coated stallion with a gear and wrench for a cutie mark. "Greetings customer, what can I help you with today?"
07[14:01] * +Desert_Storm shakes her head. "Keen..."
[14:02] <+Desert_Storm> "Helped..."
07[14:02] * +SmartCookie looks at him with a slight smile on his face and says: "Actually I'm looking for a workbench, if you could serve with that, but I'd be happy to brows your stock as well."
15[14:03] * +Karina looks at Storm then back to Primer. "Yes, he put you under the knife and saved your life. And now you're half robot."
[14:03] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The shop owner nods; "I do have a workstation, but I charge for repairs as well as merchandise. The cost varies with what's being fixed and the extent of the damage."
07[14:03] * +Desert_Storm frowns. For a pony who always snuck around sneakily, that wasn't very subtle.
07[14:04] * +SmartCookie looks at him and says: "I recovered a black-box from a military vessel. Sadly enough the device is not operational at this point."
07[14:05] * +Primer curls up tigher, whimpering. Her body shook and convulsed... and... and... Primer's body revolts and her stomach bucks back, sending a stream of yellow bile up her throat.
15[14:06] * +Karina tries to take cover.
07[14:06] * +Desert_Storm retreats to the corner and leans on the wall, her hooves folded in front of her.
[14:07] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Doctor Helpinghoof is always prepared for such a thing, and floats a bucket directly in front of Primer's face
07[14:08] * +Primer uncurls just enough to send the reeking stuff flowing into the bowl. She sobs wretchedly, tears and snot joining the bile, she still hasnt opened her eyes... she was too afraid.
[14:09] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof keeps the bucker handy in case it is still needed.
[14:10] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The Machine shop owner looks curious; "Well now, that's an interesting thing. Can I see it?"
07[14:10] * +Fire_Lily finally arrives at the clinic, surprised that nopony is waiting outside. Maybe they're inside? "...Hello?"
15[14:11] * +Karina gets back up and tentatively tries to give Primer a hug and comfort her. "You're alive."
07[14:11] * +SmartCookie get the black-box on the counter and says: "Here you go. I have no idea what's on it, but I hope there could be a backup of the ships terminals on it."
07[14:12] * +Desert_Storm waves Lily over. "Lily's here Primer."
[14:13] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The mechanist looks the box over; "Well, I might be able to get it working again, but I won't make any promises. As well, the condition its in might have damaged any data stored on it."
04[14:14] * +Primer releases all the breaks and weeps uncontrollably in Karina's embrace. She wanted her mommy... but that wasn't going to happen... ever. In her trauma and distress her mind was reverting further than normal during the day and she clutched at the zebra, unintentionally being rougher than she ment to be with the metallic fingers.
07[14:16] * +SmartCookie nods at him and says: "If anything you might probably be more qualified at it than I might be. I'm also willing to share the data, if you're interested."
15[14:17] * +Karina lets herself be hugged and continues the hug, not saying anything. Just being there.
07[14:18] * +Fire_Lily could definitely hear noises, ponies talking. Maybe they didn't hear her? "Hello! Is anypony there...?"
[14:18] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The machine shop owner smiles; "Really? Cool. I can think of a few people who might like any kind of historical records or information we can salvage from this thing. Where did you find it?"
07[14:19] * +Primer starts to blubber. "Im sorry. I'm sorry..." Goddesses, sooner or later she'd need to open her eyes...
07[14:19] * +SmartCookie says: "Like I said, in an crashed military vessel, outside of Manehatten." He then looks at the shop owner and says with a curious smile: "So we gonna do this?"

07[14:20] * +Desert_Storm trots out to find Lily. "There you are." She smiles slightly and motions for Lily to follow her. "Primer's... awake. Do you want to see her?"

04[14:23] * +Primer sniffs, her muzzle was filled with snot. "Y-you sure?" She asked Karina.

07[14:24] * +Fire_Lily nods at Storm, and follows her inside.
07[14:24] * +SmartCookie enters the clinic and walks up to the others, as Primer apparently is awake.

07[14:26] * +Primer nods silently, only she got hurt. That was good... right? "H-how much did Keen... have to help me?"
07[14:27] * +Fire_Lily follows Storm to Primer's side, and gives Primer a hesitant nudge. "You're... okay?"
[14:28] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Doctor Helpinghoof steps up to field this question; "Your skin was damaged beyond repair, and has been grafted with a synthetic repalcement. Your liver and pancreas are entirely artificial, and your heart and lungs have been repaired and augmented but not replaced. As well, there's those things on your forlegs."
07[14:28] * +SmartCookie looks at Primer but stays quiet.
07[14:28] * +Desert_Storm lowers her head. A moment of silence was in order. For her at least.
07[14:29] * +Primer recoils at Helpinghoof's list of what was done to her... oh hell. She was going to blow chunks again... Primer forced it down, Lily was here. She turned her head to where the sound of the filly came from. "I.. maybe..."
07[14:30] * +Fire_Lily doesn't care about a moment of silence. She's just glad Primer is awake. "I was... worried..."
15[14:31] * +Karina "How do you feel?"
15[14:31] * +Karina "Can you... function, or do you need more time to heal?"
07[14:32] * +Primer opens her crusted together eyes and looks at Lily. "I..." She peeks at her hoof... THE HAND WAS STUCK TO HER SKIN!! Primer finds out that she still had some more biel to puke up.

07[14:36] * +Fire_Lily recoils a bit. She was glad Primer was awake but... ew.

07[14:45] * +Desert_Storm puts a hoof on Primer's shoulder. Hugging wasn't her style... even if it was sort of called for.
[14:46] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof shrugs and looks to Primer; "That's up to you. I suggest the sooner the better if you wish to avoid atrophy. As well, getting used to your new condition will require yoru body being active."

07[14:47] * +Primer was still weeping, but it had abated a little. "Sure doc, I'll try." But she wanted to hug her friends a bit longer first.

15[14:48] * +Karina gives Primer another nuzzle after several minutes and goes to get back on her hooves so Primer could get up.

07[14:59] * +Primer nods to Helpinghoof. Anything to try and keep her mind off of the weirdness. She reaches out and gives Fire_Lily's head a gentle stroke, holding the fillys chin in her, sadly, cold hand. "You okay?"
07[15:00] * +Fire_Lily nods, and smiles. Things were... better now. Primer was okay... so she was too.
07[15:02] * +Primer sighs in relief. Things were all right... or close anyway. She nods to Helpinghoof. "Okay, lets get this over with."

[15:03] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof nods and has Primer walk thorugh a few tests, then does some basic reflex and kinetics testing. "Alright, it looks like you're functional, but I'd avoid any strenuous activity for a few days." He begins working to disconnect Primer from the various monitors and machines
07[15:05] * +Primer sits down, exausted for the moment. "Sure doc, I'll keep from starting anything... I don't think I can fend off a one legged radroach anyway."
07[15:05] * +SmartCookie steps out side the clinic and sits next to the entrance door.
07[15:05] * +Primer looks around, and with apprehention asks. "Mirror?"
[15:06] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof nods and brings over a full body mirror. "Bucket's right there if you need it again."
07[15:06] * +Fire_Lily sticks near Primer the entire time. She wasn't going to let /anything/ happen to her.
07[15:09] * +Primer nearly asks for the bucket, but refrains. Gotta get used to it girl. Keen got the hue almost right... almost, and there was no mistacing that her skin wasn't natural. Her right hand moved up to her head, and touches the stiff and thick stuff that was now her mane. "What's this?"

[15:11] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Helpinghoof takes a look; "Synthetic hair, like what you would find on a well made doll."

07[15:23] * +Primer looks around, still absent mindedly runnding a hand through her mane. "I havent seen him since..." The sound of her grenade rifle. An explosion. Azure wings. Lasers... PAIN!! She starts to shake, as if struck with fever.
07[15:24] * +Desert_Storm taps her chin with a hoof and shakes her head. "No, I haven't seen him since we split up yesterday. I'll go look for him. Primer, you- Primer?"

07[15:26] * +Desert_Storm had seen this before. She puts a hoof on Primer's shoulder again. The skin felt... off. No matter. "No, you aren't. Not yet. Just... stay with me. I'll go find Keen."
04[15:29] * +Fire_Lily looks between Karina, Storm, and Primer. "I can... show you..." She is hesitant because she doesn't want to leave Primer behind.
07[15:29] * +Primer nods robotically (Pun not intended). Sure, anything was better than thinking about -that-. Primer waits a minute for te shaking to stop and then stands, she looks down on Fire_lily and smiles weakly. "I can walk."

07[15:31] * +Desert_Storm shakes her head and lets go of Primer. "I'll just... go to the top and make my way down. You guys stay here."
15[15:33] * +Karina closes her eyes for a moment before walking out and to the elevator. "Well if that's how it's going to be... come show me." She looks at Storm. "This is something I also need to do..." She pauses and looks at Primer. "Do you want to come too?"
07[15:33] * +Primer looks about the clinic. "I guess my armor didn't make it? Did at least the cloak I took survive?"

15[15:35] * +Karina shakes her head and digs around in her own cloak for a minute. She pulls out a folded up, never been worn, cloak and tosses it to Primer.

07[15:36] * +Desert_Storm nods and makes her way to the elevator. She press the button with the largest number she can find. "We'll meet in the middle then."
15[15:37] * +Karina points at Primer's bags because somehow all her stuff didn't magically disappear and they -totally- carried everything with them.
07[15:37] * +Fire_Lily waits at the door for Primer to get ready.
04[15:39] * +Primer hoists her bags on her flanks, and sets the straps tight. She noted that her weapons were missing and guessed they were in holding somewhere. She follows Karina and Lily out of the clinic, stopping momentarily to give Helpinghoof a big tight hug. "Thanks doc."
07[15:40] * +SmartCookie finally heads down and back to the shop entering and looking over to the working merchant. "You need any help?", he asks?
15[15:40] * +Karina walks into the elevator and waits for Fire_Lily to hit a button for the floor.

07[15:45] * +Keen is quite surprised to see all his friends suddenly and holding a picture frame close to his chest. "Uh. Hello." He said dumbly. "How are you guys?"

15[15:47] * +Karina steps back and motions for Keen to get back in the elevator.
07[15:47] * +Desert_Storm sighs. Guess she didn't need to look that hard after all. She steps out of the way to let Keen in.

07[15:51] * +SmartCookie huffs and says: "Well if this ain't highway robbery, shoot me dead..." He however hoofs over the caps and says: "Don't try anything funny chief."

[15:52] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The merchant takes the caps and dumps them in the register; "So long as I get paid, why would I bother? Still, information is a commodity like any other." He initiates the data transfer.

07[15:53] * +Keen is very surprised by these turn of events. Okay, the rubbery lips were a little weird, but it hadn't been the weirdest thing he had put in his mouth. "... Really? You're not mad or anything?" He said out of shock more than anything.

[15:56] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 After the data finishes copying to Cookie's Pipbuck, the shop owner makes another copy on his own terminal before returning the box itself to Cookie.
07[15:57] * +SmartCookie takes the box and leaves the shop, heading back to his room. There was stuff to be listend to and read, as well as decrypted.
07[15:58] * +Keen whimpered a little and gave Primer a hug. Not just any hug, a hug that came with the release of a very present worry. A hug in which he let flash a little picture of himself, an olive unicorn mare with an pith helmet and an affinity to khaki, a royal blue mare with a white mane giggling politely in the background, and two unicorn foals scrabbling up Keen's wings.

07[16:18] * +Primer stands in the doorway to the room, looking over to the group by the elevator. "Come on you guys." She looked genuinley happy for the first time since waking up. "What is the matter? Afraid of some cloth?"

07[17:40] * +Desert_Storm takes Gasoline Dreams and gives a quick once over. They took goo enough care of it. Her polish rag is out in a flash, wiping the Tenpony hoofprints off her machine. "If you say so."

07[17:41] * +Primer pokes Keen on the shoulder. "Mind if we make a stop at the ghouls? I need some armor, and the prices here are daytime robbery."

She steps forward as the other figure approaches from the shadows. It's a stallion who seems to be dressed up like a disgusting black insect. His helmet looks oddly similar to Spitfire's, but black.
