Mikoto: You really, really have returned!

Kamui: Huh? Um, what do you mean….

Mikoto: I’m so glad that you’re safe! Kamui, my child.

Kamui: Huh!?

Takumi: For me, it happened all too suddenly. That spring day when the cherry trees bloomed, a lone prince returned to the country of
Hoshido. His name was ‘Kamui’. He was said to have been abducted by Nohr, an older brother who’s face I don’t even know. And to Queen
Mikoto, he was her one and only, true son.

Mikoto: Listen to me Kamui, you are the prince of this country. When you were little you were abducted and taken away to Nohr, and I am your mother, Mikoto. We’re family to one another.

Kamui: There’s no way… you’re my mother!? No way… there’s no way I could believe that!

Ryouma: It’s not easy to take in, but it’s the truth. I am Ryouma, your older brother.

Kamui: My… brother?

Ryouma: That’s right.

Kamui: …

Takumi: However, not only did Kamui not remember his mother or brother, but his memories of Hoshido were non-existent.

Ryouma: I remember it clearly, the moment you were abducted. At the time your father, King Sumeragi of Hoshido, went to visit the country of Chevalier, whom we were still on good terms with, and was suddenly attacked by enemies. Takumi: Kamui fell silent and both mother and Ryouma’s faces grew dark. It came to no surprise as they had been forgotten by the person they had been yearning to see. I’ve heard the story of my brother’s disappearance many times over. And I knew how much they had anticipated his return but childhood memories are always faint, even now, I don’t remember a single thing about Kamui.

Hinata: Takumi-sama!

Oboro: Takumi-sama!

Takumi: Hinata, Oboro.

Hinata: What are you doing in a place like this?

Oboro: Usually you’d be practicing your archery at this time.
