Alivi: Loretta goes through a huge depression, after isolating herself she may move out. During that time Mel will continue to try to keep her there

Alivi: Same with the post-stuff of Loretta's kidnapping- something big would've had to happen to make Mel want to put her through that

Lady Archive: ok...so so far the only IC reason we have for Centralia happening at all is to use it to get rid of another Anti...with Jack and Lori just collateral damage
Spots: But yes. Lori would have to do something to get him to torture her. So that's out of the cards unless she randomly becomes stupid
Spots: Anti but also for Mel to get more power
Spots: Any chance for Mel to eat more children is a good thing. It makes him stronger and they taste good too.
Alivi: Loretta wont become stupid- but after Jack tells her the truth she won't trust Mel ever
Lady Archive: but that will reveal him to Lori won't it
Alivi: and the fact he is eating children will easily earn her hatred
Lady Archive: ?
Spots: That's fine. Might not stop him from claiming her

Lady Archive: all the plot points are there...it also feels a bit more steamlined now which is good

Lady Archive: with only major changes being Nian is now the figurehead of Centralia and there is no Mel torturing Lori?

Alivi: Centralia is becomeing less of a Mel thing
Alivi: more of Anti-Guardian thing

Alivi: and more about Loretta's stance with the Anti-GUardians
Alivi: which is probably why it feels so streamlined
Spots: Yes. Which is good. I don't want Mel so involved in this
Lady Archive: it just becomes an Anti plot that happens to occur when Lori has changed sides...revealing that stance to them and Pitch
Alivi: Yes
Alivi: it lessens pressure on you and Mel- keeps him in character

Alivi: is less overwhelming
Alivi: and keeps the plot focused
Alivi: Cause from a writing standpoint that would've been a sideplot

Alivi: the overarching plot is that Love and War- Loretta and Jack are falling for eachother despite their differing stances
Lady Archive: now it's more about the war with an extension of the love story
Lady Archive: not solely on the love story
Spots: Which is great
Lady Archive: yes
Alivi: the Mel thing is a diversion- with it gone- it still is about the love story and the relation to the war
Alivi: but it allows for a clearer picture
