The T-34 Medium tank was created in Russia during the second world war, It was designed by KMBD (Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau) Which was founded in 1927. The T-34 was a hugely popular tank all around the world as It was very cheap but also super effective during many wars such as the Second world war and the Cold War, The tank itself was in service for over 20 years in the soviet union, Its still In service for many country today! The tank was using in around 40 countries including The Soviet Union, Austria, Poland, Nazi Germany, Iraq, Syria, Zimbabwe and many more, As of 2012, the T-34 is mostly in reserve, used in a light tank role, or treated as an infantry backup. The T-34 was the most produced tank in WW2 and second most produced tank of all time (following up its successor the t-44/45 Series) The T-34 was one of the best-protected tanks in the world in 1941. Good armour thickness was enhanced by the sloped armour shape. There were many customized versions of the T-34 which were created by different countries such as the SU-85 which was a Soviet Tank destroyer based on the design on the T-34 and the T-43 Soviet tank Which started out as a prototype to create a medium tank with heavier armour but the German t-34-85 out-witted the tank using more effective German technology and the T-43 was cancelled.
