- -Here mate, Konami are after my ass I guess.
- don't have the time to describe every scene in the game so I'll go for the shockers. I hope you'll get the general idea.
- The game starts from a first person perspective. You're opening your eyes in the hospital, and a doctor and a nurse come visit you. This opening takes place during a few days (I don't remember exactly how many days). The doctor starts by telling you: "The whole world wants you dead." The coma stuff, he doesn't say right off the bat. They try to go easy on this "Snake", as he's having a hard time awakening and coming to his full senses.
- I'll spoil right ahead cause it will take too long otherwise. You learn this information near the end of the game, when Venom Snake is shocked to encounter Paz, living and well, with a V scar. This character, Venom Snake, is NOT the real Big Boss. He is a clone, I think, we have never heard off. He basically have some memories of the real Big Boss. Problem is, his memory his deficient. He doesn't remember the facts exactly as it happened.
- Basically, the real Big Boss never was in this 9 years coma. Venom was. 9 years is a metaphore for the birth of this clone, and is a nice parallel to how a baby is born in 9 months. He is one kind of a clone. Forget Solid, Liquid and Solidus. Venom matured and looks almost exactly like the real Big Boss, sounds like the real Big Boss, and it "only" took 9 years. Problems happened though. The horn he has is a deficient bone that came out of his head, and all the debris he has on his body are the result of a genetic error and bone malformations. Basically almost everybody in The Phantom Pain has health problems of some kind. But Venom's problems are kinda huge. Also, he was born without his left arm, and his quick accelerated growth resulted in skin problems, skin gaps and deviation, and that's why he is stitched from legs to head. He required 100% medical attention everyday for nine years.
- Now, as this question has been asked a lot: yes he is voiced by Kiefer Sutherland. As for the real Big Boss, he is also voiced by Kiefer Sutherland.
- I'll add another scene you haven't scene. Remember that GDC trailer, when Kaz says "what about him?". Well, you know, I really thought The Phantom pain would open with the aftermath of the helicopters' collision, and then Kaz screaming "don't you die on me dammit!". Well it doesn't. The very first shot as I said, is Venom opening his eyes. Well, that very specific scene with Kaz screaming "what about him" and stuff, ONLY occurs after Venom sees Paz alive and well. He begins to understand he has been played, that his Ground Zeroes memories are fake, and has a huge flashback. Only then do you understand what truly happened, and it's glorious. First, you see that GDC 2013 cutscene in full, from Venom perspective. Venom was that third guy Kaz was acknowledging. But you will have to follow closely because I'm not sure I can explain this correctly.
- In FACT, when Kaz yells at Big Boss not to die on him... this doesn't happen in the realm of the series. It exists only in Venom's head. It's his very, very first memories. It's the only time, in his mind, he sees Big Boss as a separate human being. In his mind, at the beginning of his growth, Venom has his own identity. He is watching Big Boss fall in a coma, and that's the beginning of the match of Big Boss' persona onto Venom Snake (very hard to explain, sorry). Venom himself is in a coma as he dreams this. That's where the "fusion", the beginning of the cloning sequence occurs, it's his very first memories.
- In the REAL events, Big Boss is mortally wounded by Skull Face during the real Ground Zeroes event (that you get to play in the mission right after this huge flashback), and Kaz decides to ask Zero's help to clone him. Paz and Chico aren't in the helicopter and Paz doesn't die. Big Boss and Kaz along with the motherbase staff confront Skull Face and XOF.
- Right when Big Boss is mortally wounded is when Zero decides to help with making yet another clone, and one that they can use rather quick on the field. Zero just wants Skull Face's dead body as much as Kaz. The motherbase is completely wiped out as well in the real events of Ground Zeroes (as described in The Phantom Pain).
- BUT, Big Boss doesn't fall in a coma. He is just completely useless as a soldier for some time, and Kaz goes on to tell him how he might never recover. This is when Kaz tells BB about the LET project (Solid, Liquid, Solidus and Venom - that's one of the only time where Solidus is even mentioned, lol, like Kojima almost doesn't care about this character anymore). This is a helluva long of a cutscene, happens during months and years. Big Boss at first is furious when hearing about the LET project and attemps to kill Venom.
- With time, as Big Boss needs to stay in the hospital and needs 24/7 medical attention, he begins to reason himself and understand Venom might be the only way to take down Skull Face. And deep down, he also wants to get back at Zero (this is very hard to follow as there is a fine line between who are the real good guys and bad guys. Really, almost everyone turns bad and goes apeshit at some point).
- Big Boss and Venom stay in the same hospital for nine years.
- Back to the opening sequence.
- Venom Awakens. The famous "V Has Come To" is cited by a robotic female voice during a later cutscene when Zero is in his hiding place. He is surrounded by computers and A.I. and when hearing this voice, he receives a phone call from Quiet who tells him she has "found him". (this is f*** hard to describe as so much is going on and every cutscene is mixed up, you really have to make up the story yourself as some cutscenes happen sooner, some later, it's a mess, I hope you can follow me).
- So, Venom awakens in the hospital. The doctor tells him "The whole world wants you dead". Venom doesn't understand a thing and gets angry. Another day in the hospital. The doctor & nurse come back and tell him he's been in a coma for 9 years. Venom gets mad and tries to break free, and he notices he doesn't have his left arm. You then see the camera exit the first-person view only to show you how damaged Venom's body is. He goes in a shock and the nurse give him a tranquilizer to calm him down. He falls asleep several times with this method during the intro (he is a lot more nervous than the real Big Boss).
- At some point, the doctor comes back to tell Snake he needs a new identity, a new face so he won't be recognized, because the whole world knows what he looks like. You then get every f*** option you want to customize the hell out of his face (eye colour, hair colour, everything).
- BUT, huge twist. The facial operation never happens. Quiet appears out of nowhere, she is dressed in a black uniform and talks on the phone to Zero. She tells him "I found him". Venom is panicked and doesn't know what to do.
- Explanation: in fact, you learn this later in the game: she does NOT want to kill Venom. It's all part of a ruse to turn Venom into the perfect soldier Big Boss once was. They f*** up with his feelings to turn him into Big Boss, making him experience traumatic experiences in extreme conditions (ala MGS2). Zero absolutely tells Quiet NOT to kill Venom and to protect him at the cost of her life. He adds that the doctor needs to be killed because he knows too much.
- Right before Quiet "attempts" to kill Snake, Ishmael (Big Boss under bandages) jumps on the bed to protect his clone (Big Boss DOES not know of the ruse and genuinely jumps to save Venom). Quiet more or so expected it, kills the doctor, while Kid Mantis unleashes a fire with the help of his Ghost Volgin on Fire. The nurse is set on fire and jumps out the window.
- Quiet disappears. Big Boss tells Venom to get on his feet, he gives him a tranquilizer, and tells him how he has been watching him for 9 years (throughout most of the game, Big Boss still watches on Venom, and you have a lot of references about that on the mother base).
- They escape, not going to describe everything all over again, but you saw most of what happens in the trailer. Only thing I can tell you is that Kid Mantis does help them out.
- Okay Part 2 coming soon, I've told you about 20% of what going on, I'm exhausted, hope you like it. (I will edit as I go further through the summary, feel free to comment)
- -Proof I am legit: http://imgur.com/UDnnqqC
- -Yeah but Quiet being there in the hospital and talking is right at the beginning of the game. Then later you have a flashback where you see it was Zero talking to her.
- -Also, I have written the part 2 of Story spoilers and it was removed quickly. I can PM it to anyone asking. I talk about Code Talker, Skull Face and Zero as it was asked a lot. Those reddit mods removing my posts must have been alerted by Konami themselves I have real infos. Too bad we can't share spoilers. I have already sent spoilers to a couple people though.
- -You have countless proofs I'm legit with all those guys on my a**
- -Ken saying I was just joking is bullshit, it's not true, I did not make s*** up, I did not make s**** up, I did naaaaaaat... Oh hi Marc! Come on... think he will say "yeah... story 100% spoiled, me producer is very sad"?? Of course not. But ask him precisely this: "Does Quiet talk and appears in the intro Ken?". If he lies and tells you no, then you will see in a very short while he was lying as I'm sure a lot of people will be able to play the hospital sequence soon. I don't know if other people finished the game but I did. I don't live in the US or in Japan and Konami's control here was much less strict that in other countries and we did have a full preview organized here, with like I said, goodies given, meals paid by Konami, they even have a set in their office which they must have spent at least $2000 or $3000 on. It amazes me that so few people believe me in the replies of my threads, but in PM's, so many people tell me how they support me :/ Apparently I was the most talked thread here? Then I don't understand all the bashing. Ask yourself why it was so talked? Because you saw the story made sense. I'm sorry I am not very quick to update you on news, I am really lazy at writing so much but I did my best to update you and answers the many, many PM's I was sent. Also, I have other things to do. I'm a MGS fan, I know someone made a so-called "leak" last year (which was completely a**, I don't know how anybody could take it seriously, it was the worst fanfic ever), I did watch Pythonselkan videos (great analysis to be honest, he was not that far from the actual story - though I never understood that Gray Fox obsession), I did watch YongYea (don't like those videos so much, I was always expecting to learn cool stuff but he always stated obvious facts everybody knew, just gathered infos that were out there really, we never learnt anything knew on his channel, big letdown, but otherwise he seems like a nice fella and I love the voice actors interviews conducted by Fragnation), so I know the community. Oh, and I'm def not Python. I don't even know the guy, just his videos. I will watch his last analysis for sure though, it's funny to see how much of the story he will have found out. Python if you read this though: Venom is not Gray Fox, he is just another clone. You should change that in your last analysis. I think YongYea played the opening of the game right? Then ask him about Quiet being there and talking, and see what he replies. Try to find other people who have completed some parts of the game and you will see what they tell you and how I'm completely legit.
- -It's not a guess, I have played it. Quiet doesn't say "V has come to", it's an AI talking and repeating over and over "V has come to" in a robotic voice, in Zero's hiding place upon Venom's awakening. Quiet phones Zero right at this moment.
- -Honestly, Ken is lying here. Do you think he will say "yes... sadly, story 100% spoiled"? But try to push him and ask him just about the intro sequence, and ask about Quiet being there and talking. See what he answers. If he says "no she is not there", then he's lying and you'll be able to verify my claim very quickly as other people will be playing the opening shortly. FFS I provided you proof I was legit and you still doubt me. What will it be? Loyalty to your producer or loyalty to me? Lies or Truth?
- I saw that. And obviously he's lying because he doesn't want the story to be spoiled. Like I said, ask Ken-ichiro about Quiet talking in the hospital, it's just in the opening of the game and see what he answers. If he answers she's not there, he's completely lying and I bet other people like me who have at the very least completed the hospital sequence will confirm what I say.
- -Nope, it's the final cutscene so you just stick to Venom... but, there is a pretty cool mission after the ending, involving another character :)
- -Venom dies. The real Big Boss takes over and proceeds to making Outer Heaven (with Skull Face troops).
- -It's very much alike Solid vs Liquid in MGS1. Venom feels rejected, inferior and betrayed. He goes on to say how he lost everything, and wants revenge on Big Boss for following the project. It's basically almost exactly like Solid vs Liquid really. You don't see the real Big Boss that much. You play as him during the real Ground Zeroes mission. And you play as him while building Outer Heaven and talking to Zero at the ending. And you see him again in a mission after completing the game. A very cool mission. I'd say you see him for like 1 hour or so. Maybe 1 hour and a half.
- -I can promise you mine are 100% legit given my Konami. Maybe the ones that will be sent in September are a bit different.
- -Wait until September 1st. When you see Quiet in the hospital. Then it will click :)
- -I got a journalist friend who is very close to our local Konami RP, that's why. Nope, Ishmael has one eye. You will see.
- -He doesn't man! I think in the trailers you couldn't see it clearly but in the final game it's cleared he has one eye missing. He has bandages to cover his face, that's all.
- -Here: http://imgur.com/zgTwkFV
- -I do actually. Check the photo of the Kaz's sunglasses I own. Now, go to the official website to order those, here: http://mgsv-jfrey.com/en/uv-collection/11-kaz-gear.html
- They won't be sent until September. So how did I managed to a pair?????????
- -This is apparently retconned in The Phantom Pain as he never heard of the LET project before or after Peace Walker. Doesn't even know during GZ (as described in TPP). You will see.
- -(PROOF I AM LEGIT: http://imgur.com/2UlYIOU I just checked and this hasn't been released publicly. It was given to me when I finished the game. So there, I think it's an undeniable proof).
- Hi guys. Okay, so I'm a regular MGS fan, and I've just completed The Phantom Pain a week ago. I was wondering if I should spoil or not, but you know what... I'd actually like to read this had I not completed the game. Don't ask me how I was able to do this, don't ask me who I really am, but when September arrives, you will see I'm 100% NOT bullshitting.
- I'll just spoil the story and answer questions ONLY about the story.
- If a Konami rep sees this: too bad guys, I didn't sign ANYTHING :) And you'll have to wonder who allowed me to play it non-stop... :)
- Alright, so, The Phantom Pain.
- I might say it right now: it is... HANDS DOWN... the best game in a decade. Easily Game of the year (I did love The Witcher III, but MGSV is just a whole different beast).
- If you have questions about why I appreciated this game so much, I'll be happy to answer. However I'd like this thread to stay 100% Story centered.
- Might as well start from the beginning of the game, and if you like what you see, I'll spoil till the end (I might not spoil the final sequence though, as it could kill your hype, and I do want this game to sell millions).
- So... Remember how Ground Zeroes finished... helicopter crash...?
- Yeah, well, forget it, you just don't see what happens at the beginning of the game... yet.
- The game opens with Snake opening his eyes. He is in a hospital. Errr, it's a bit hard to describe all of what's going on.
- Okay, to keep it simple: you awake (first-person view). That's the first shot of the game. I was a bit taken aback as I expected to see the aftermath of the helicopter's collision... but... heh... there's a huge twist about that, but we'll get onto this later.
- The Doctor and the Nurse come to visit you and they go easy on you. They don't tell you from the beginning that you've been in a coma for 9 years. Actually, the beginning of the game is set during several days. Slowly, Snake recovers, and the doctor tells him... "The whole world wants you dead" (yeah, huge twist, Ishmael actually never says that to him). Snake starts to get angry and tries to break free, and then he sees he as one arm missing and gets even more angrier.
- Another day in the hospital. The doctor now tells him he has been in a coma for 9 years. Snake just goes mad, and the camera switches to let us see his wounded body. He is f**** wounded to hell with debris lodged onto his whole body.
- After Snake has calmed down a bit, the doctor proceeds to tell him he should get another identity. A new face. Because the whole world knows his true face. (please remember that as there will be a twist a lot later in the game)
- So, at this precise moment, you can customize Snake however you want. Change eyes colour, remove scar, hair colour... Really whatever you want.
- BUT... a familiar character comes into place, before the Doctor can even performs the facial surgery. It's very Kill Bill-esque (for those who know the Tarantino's movie, Kojima totally ripped this off). Someone is sent to kill Snake. Guess who it is...
- ...
- Have you guessed? Hint: it's a female character... huge boobs...
- Yeah, it's Quiet. She then grabs her cell-phone, and says "I've found him." You later know in the game who the mysterious person on the other side of the phone, is (hint: I think you know exactly who it is).
- Quiet now proceeds to kill Snake... BUT... The doctor and the nurse come back in the room... and...
- Ishmael, who was on the bed next to Snake jumps onto him to protect him, while Quiet kills the doctor, and Kid Mantis gets in action, sets part of the hospital on fire and uses Ghost Volgin. The nurse is set on fire and jumps out the window (and dies, obviously), while Quiet gets away.
- Ishmael proceeds to help Snake, telling him he has been watching him for nine years (remember "watching him", there's a twist about that later as well). XOF units arrive and begin to shoot everyone in the hospital. Ishmael guides Snake out of the hospital while Mantis actually helps them pushing XOF forces out with illusion and the Volgin on Fire. A bit later, Snake and Ishmael get in a ambulance who is set on fire, and they collide. Ishmael escapes (you won't see him until later...much later in the game) while Snake is on the ground, helpless. As a soldier is on the verge of executing him, Mantis helps Snake out with a Giant Whale illusion.
- Ocelot then appears out of nowhere on a horse and commands Snake to get on the horse, otherwise he dies (very much alike Kyle Reese in The Terminator shouting to Sarah "come with me if you want to live").
- They then escape on a horse, while Snake tries to push soldier forces aside with a shotgun.
- To be continued, my friends...
- (and again, 100% legit. If you don't believe me now, you definitely will when you play the game in august or september... and believe me I have played the same game :) )
- Questions?
- -They have already given us all the Buddies in the previous presentations, sadly no other. D-walker, D-Horse, Quiet, and DD. You can play as Gray Fox though and a couple other great characters :) Hence maybe why the lack of buddies.
- -Err, I will write a full summary, got too many replies.
- Basically, yeah and no. Ground Zeroes happens in The Phantom Pain, but in a very, very different way. Ground Zeroes as you played it is a misrepresentation of an event the real Big Boss lived, only experienced by Venom Snake as he is in comatose status during his growth.
- -Huh no no, it's not Solid Snake, it's a whole different clone, one I think we never had heard of. Totally didn't expect that but thought it was really cool and matched the themes of the game perfectly. I can see some people complaining though, like for Raiden in MGS2... But really hope the game is critically acclaimed at least for its gameplay and cutscenes greatness (not even mentioning the music... f*** awesome).
- Nope I didn't explain Skull Face yet but I will write a full summary tonight.
- Happy to see at least one optimistic fan ahah. I really didn't know that Quiet speaking and appearing in the hospital would upset people so much. I didn't make the game, I personally thought it was a nice twist, it's just there in the game, I'm sorry for bringing it first but again, I'm not trolling.
- -Well I don't think they can cause I didn't sign anything. I went in their office with a journalist friend of mine who works for a huge french website, there were two other journalists that day, and my friend knows Konami France RP very well. He was nice and I just gave him my word I wouldn't say anything, but I didn't actually sign anything. That guy offered me sunglasses and that's it. My friend got sunglasses and a Diamond Dogs jacket. But apparently my post was removed so I guess some guys from Konami know the moderator here and ask for huge spoilers removal. The press wasn't allowed at all to talk about Quiet's presence (and talking) in the hospital.
- Anyway, I don't see how that twist was that bad, I really loved it personally because I totally didn't see it happening. You'll see, you don't even need to apologize man, you will play the game 24/7 believe me, you'll just see I was right and I hope you will enjoy it anyway. Take care buddy :)
- -Remember the very first trailer of the game? You already could hear that Sutherland was voicing Snake and Ishmael at the same time.
- And turns out Ishmael is Big Boss, Venom Snake is a clone from the LET project (a clone we hadn't heard of, can't remember if they ever mentioned another clone beside Solid, Liquid and Solidus, but this one is different as he has the exact same appearance as Big Boss- bear the scars and horn- in the span of 9 years).
- My description of the events aren't worthy of the awesome cutscenes, but I think you will love it. I did anyway.
- -Venom Snake is a Big Boss clone, part of the LET project. He is a clone with accelerated growth, took nine years to look exactly as Big Boss (kind of a metaphore because a baby takes nine months to grow, Venom Snake took nine years), BUT he needed absolute medical treatment everyday until awakening, and as a result of growing up and old so quick, they had to stitch up some parts of his skin, that's why he has so many scars. As for the debris and horn, it's a defect of his quick bone growth, some things went wrongs and he got an abnormal bone that looks like a horn (and grows bigger and bigger as you progress till the final).
- -Yeah it's strange but both Big Boss and Venom are voiced by Kiefer. There is a good explanation for it though ;)
- -Nope, you shoot soldiers in the final product. Mantis and his Volgin Ghost on Fire are actually helping you out.
- -Yup. You know I customized the face for like 10 full minutes, only to see my choices reduced to ashes. I didn't understand it until the last part of the game.
- The face thing... it's a theme of the game. Eventually, you will face the real Big Boss near the end of the game, and you get that the face customization was some kind of bizarre clue to let you know you're not actually Big Boss.
- -The doctor at the beginning tells you you need a new identity because the whole world wants you dead. So he's talking about facial plastic surgery. You are free to shape Snake's face however you want.
- BUT. The change is never made as the doctor is killed before he even could change Snake's face.
- -I'm not bullshitting.
- Alright, here goes:
- 1) Chico is well and alive, you see him grown up but he only appears for a specific cutscene with Paz, who is alive and well. You understand during this cutscene that the events of Ground Zeroes as you played them never happened this way.
- 2) Quiet is the top Elite cybernetic soldier of the Skulls Project, led by Zero. I will develop in my full summary of the story, but basically she is stronger than most Skulls. Skulls are sent to challenge Venom Snake to shape him as strong as Big Boss. Quiet is there to help Venom out. She doesn't tell Snake right ahead that she knows these "enemies."
- 3) Eh? 6? Not sure what you meant by that (forgot some of the MGS lore, though I love the series), but you meet Eli (Liquid) in person. As for Solid Snake, he only appears in the final cutscene involving Zero (and... in a surprise thing, but I won't spoil this as even the man who could have spoiled it didn't say anything nor did his friends knew, f*** amazing). Solidus Snake is mentioned by Big Boss when he confronts Venom Snake and explains the LET Project, but that's about it, no other mention about him, you never see him (but I haven't beaten 100% of the game so who knows)
- 4) You recruit Gray Fox during a mission. And... you can select him and play him during a very, very cool mission involving Naomi Hunter.
- 5) Hard to say, I'd like to say none of it, as I thought I would call the hospital sequence, but Quiet appearance completely took me aback. The rest of the game is filled with huge twists, and really, even though I had seen every trailer, I would never EVER had gotten the story right. But in terms of landscapes and cutscenes, I'd say 10% was shown (not in full obviously). There a lot of cool and great cutscenes, and hell, you can play as Gray Fox. None of it was shown. As well as two others very cool character... All I can say is... if you thought Ground Zeroes had fanservice, you are in for a hell of a ride.
- 6) Both :)
- -No, not at all. Quiet is quiet, Chico is Chico. I explained in another post that you do see Chico and Paz against in a very specific cutscene where Venom Snake begins to understand he is not the real Big Boss (Ground Zeroes doesn't actually happen).
- -You are 100% free not to believe me but like you mate, I had no f****** idea she would talk right in the beginning. This was a big surprise, and that's why nobody talked about this in the previews. Listen, you will see for yourself in September, and if you don't like the idea, then complain to Kojima. This was kept as a big secret. She can actually talk... She almost doesn't speak for the entire game though, but she does speak to Snake from time to time (not during missions, but during several specific cutscenes where they are alone and cutting out codec conversations). Thing is: she is working for Zero. Only Snake (and Zero) know she speaks throughout the whole game. That's why Snake develops a special bond with her, but it's kind of fake at the beginning, as she is made to have this "bond". She is a double agent, but eventually, she falls for Snake.
- You will see in September, you will see... hope it won't disappoint you, I loved it personally, what a twist.
- -Sorry, it's a bit hard to answer to everyone, reddit is a real mess with posts, I hadn't noticed your question.
- I will write the full story later tonight, right now it's easier and quicker for me to spoil parts of the game.
- As for the final boss battles, you won't believe me right now, but wait until I develop the full story so you can get the full idea.
- There are four major boss battles in the final 10 hours or so. First one is Venom Snake against Liquid in the Metal Gear. Second one is Venom Snake against Skull Face. Third one is Venom Snake against Kaz (he kills Quiet and Venom goes completely mad and wipes out the entire motherbase and soldiers). Last one is Venom Snake against... Big Boss.
- -Because she is there originally to fool Snake into making think she's an enemy. Snake thinks she wants to kill him at the beginning of the game, and that's why you have a boss fight afterwards. She's 10 times stronger than he is, she's there to challenge him and elevate him to Big Boss' potential. In reality, her main mission is to protect him at the cost of her life.
- -Well, nope, just Africa and Afghanistan. BUT, Africa is big (and towards the game you get to South Africa). There are loads of buildings to explore though, but yeah, bit of lack of variety. No snowy area sadly.
- As for Chico and Paz, they make appearances in the game and they play a huge part in one of the final twists.
- Chico and Paz are both used for a key cutscene, it's at this moment that "Snake" understands he has been played. When he sees Paz, living and well, with the same V scar, he just doesn't get it, as he saw her explode. He grabs Chico and shouts at him, asking him how the hell she survived the bomb explosion. Turns out.... do you really want me to spoil this?
- -Huh... it didn't hit me while playing tbh. But then again, MGS games have always had futuristic stuff ahead of their time. Also, she isn't dressed "naked" in the hospital. She's wearing a black uniform. And she WAS using a cellphone. You'll see anyway.
- -Alright. There are lots of flashbacks throughout the game. One of them involves Zero talking to Quiet (while she is staring at Snake in the hospital), and this flashback happens while Quiet is tortured by Kaz and Ocelot (Snake is unaware of this torture scene and develops a love story with her throughout the game - until her death - that I can develop too). That's one of the very few cutscenes where you actually see Zero in person. There is a big twist there, as you'd expect Zero to tell her something like "Kill him" but he doesn't. Instead, he tells her (not 100% accurate, forgot some words) "Do not fail me. Pretend you are here to kill him so we can shape him to his image. Get rid of the doctor, he knows too much. One last thing: protect him at the cost of your life."
- -Wasn't allowed to take any picture while playing the game. Fact. Only thing I got left are those glasses and my memories.
