* NOTE: Using Google Chrome's Translate functionality is very helpful throughout this process.

1. Create a throwaway email account, referred to as "temp email" from here on out.
2. Access the Square Enix German Site to register a new account with your temp email: http://eu.square-enix.com/de/home
3. Click "Registrieren" in the upper right-hand corner
4. Enter your details and choose "Germany" for the "Land" option.
5. Once registered, go here: http://www.computerbild.de/gutscheinaktionen/Final-Fantasy-14-A-Realm-Reborn-Betakeys-8292764.html?action=register
6. Type your temp email address in the box, click the check box and push the button labeled "Betakey anfordern".
7. You will receive 2 emails in your inbox, one of them will contain the code which looks something like this in the email: "Ihre Key lautet: ABWE PF7A 8G2W QKX7 Z974"
8. Now go here: http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/preparebeta/index_na.html and register using the key you got in step 7 and the square enix account you created in steps 1-4.
9. Finally, download the game from here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ARR-Test/threads/7065-Download-the-FFXIV-ARR-Beta-Test-Software
