Morgana, originating from the part of the royal family that used to rule over the Eastern provinces, grew up in what one would consider rather humble surroundings for a noble family. As had been almost sort of an odd tradition in her family line she had never actually been to any of the Eastern provinces, though she was raised to disdain its people and the culture came with it. Undoubtedly the feeling was mutual as the family came under attack repeatedly by those who sought to avenge some long held grudges.
When her eldest brother Elias came of age one of the family's most loyal vassals gifted him a Drake egg bearing the family colors. While Elias cared little for the egg, far too busy considering his official ascendence into the world of adults, Morgana watched it and cared for it brooding over it every day. When Elias got married merely a few months later he allowed Morgana to keep the egg as her own, figuring he would have no use for such an aggressive beast in his surely orderly province to be.
Named "Bello" by Morgana it quickly became clear that this Drake was no ordinary beast of war. Growing to a truly monstrous size in only few years Bello became a fearsome sign of the nobility, towering over all other Drakes at the noble court, with his heavy scales proudly bearing the family colors.
By the time Morgana came of age her personal pet-Drake had replaced any Knights and Paladins as protectors, some creditting it to the almost uncannily strong bond the two shared, other more evil tongues claiming that the Paladins had refused to serve Morgana any longer for she disrespected the official representatives of the church in many ways.
While Morgana, and Bello in particular, did have a few brushes with the church here and there, she is a devout follower of the faith and seeks to ascend into sainthood by providing innovative and masterfully executed architecture, employing a mix of golems for heavy tasks, well experienced guildsmen for more precise parts of the construction as well as men of wisdom and intellect to overcome any obstacles that may stand in the way.
