Race wont stop me from loving you

We were never meant to be divided ,
It's almost like the devil attacked and we were blind sided.
He made me hate you because the color of your skin,
But loving you should have no basis to the skin your in.

I noticed the world seems to have us at an odd,
But I promise you we both look like God.
Your spirit and soul reflect our creator,
But satan tells us otherwise because he's a hater.

No matter what people tell us we should do,
I am still going to love and support you.
If all the world turns to you and attacks,
Then I promise we will be connected fighting at each others backs.

Don't let people pull us apart,
Our friendship is beautiful like a great piece of art.
I see you for who you really are,
Let's allow our friendship to raise the bar.

In the coming days things my get worse,
But we won't let our unity disperse
I feel like no matter what we face,
We can stand hand and hand empowered by grace.
