Inn Time 5

[20:03]	Keesh	[It's late morning, and the last of previous evening's travelers have headed off in their respective directions.  Business seems have picked up a little as knowledge of the inn's existence slowly spreads.]
[20:04]	Keesh	[Currently, the girls(...?) have the establishment to themselves.]
[20:05]	Keesh	[The sky is dark and cloudy, but the temperature moderate.  A smell of electricity seems to hang in the air, and lighting can be seen over the distant mountains.]
[20:06]	Hypathia	"Rain rain, come here again so I experiment on you againnnnnnn" She sings along hoping it would rain so she would have to work less.
[20:07]	Keesh	stands in the center of the crossroads, looking at the mountain ridge.  The dark goggles slide down, up, and down again on Keesh's forehead, gauging whether or not they're needed out here.
[20:09]	Keesh	decides on "down" after all, and looks at the many wheel tracks embedded in the ever-muddied-ever-dried dirt.
[20:22]	Keesh	"...Yesh...  I think one day I'll pave thish."
[20:22]	Gilder	heads to the rooms, and starts making sure they're cleaned for the next guests.
[20:22]	Keesh	crouches down and puts a hand on the dirt, seeing if its possible to conjure enough arcane power to turn the dirt to stone.
[20:28]	Hypathia	"I could summon Golem again!.. though... when I did that, just a bunch of rocks floated around and broke all the glass of cups. Ack..."
[20:29]	Tarathiel	leans against the entrance to the inn with folded arms, towering over the runt-lizard (as usual).
[20:29]	Tarathiel	"I could flatten this way easier than magic. Easy."
[20:33]	Tarathiel	then thumps it with her tail, leaving a thick outline.
[20:34]	Keesh	glances up at Tara.  :|
[20:34]	Keesh	"You really don't know anything, do you?"
[20:36]	Keesh	moves out of Tarathiel's shadow.  N-not because it's looming or anything!
[20:37]	Tarathiel	huffs and looks away.
[20:37]	Tarathiel	"I know some things, at least."
[20:38]	Keesh	"And I'd HARDLY call that messh a golem, Hype.  Are you SHURE you're a demon shummoner?"
[20:40]	Keesh	[While cleaning the rooms, among the usual trash and dirt, Glider finds a few copper coins next to a stool, and a crumpled piece of paper with words in a language she can't read.]
[20:44]	Gilder	takes the coins, and the paper, and goes downstairs to see if he can find Hypathia.
[20:44]	Keesh	"There'sh no shame in being a regular shummoner shummoner, you know~"
[20:55]	Keesh	squints down the three forks in the road, seeing if any travelers are coming.  Nothing as far as the eye can see.  However far it is that Keesh's eyes can see in daylight, that is.
[21:07]	Keesh	starts meandering over towards the old ruined guard tower across the street, thinking.
[21:15]	Tarathiel	wanders over as well, with little else to do. Gilder's inside, so he's obviously taken care of everything there.
[21:16]	Hypathia	"That's no fun!  That'll be like.. a mage who wants to be a wizard.  BOOORRRIINNG I say! Though.. necromancer mmm~ That sounds fun!"
[21:16]	Tarathiel	calls back to her.
[21:17]	Tarathiel	"You could make this your evil lair! Magic types need one, right?"
[21:19]	Hypathia	"Not really, I need like.. sacr--test subjects more than a lair. I never did get taht.. why do you want to give yourself away like that. It boggles me."
[21:20]	Keesh	points up at the tower while walking, very know-it-all in tone.
[21:20]	Tarathiel	"I plan on staying alive myself."
[21:20]	Tarathiel	scratches her head.
[21:20]	Tarathiel	"Uh, thanks for the offer, though?"
[21:20]	Keesh	"Thish tower ish definitely a liability.  Horrible to look at, could be ushed to shiege the inn."
[21:20]	Keesh	"We'll have to do shomething about it."
[21:22]	Keesh	"Might be a good exshpanshion to the inn if profitsh go up in the future~"
[21:22]	Keesh	then looks back at the inn and realizes maybe the inn should have been built on the OTHER side of the road...
[21:23]	Keesh	hopes no one notices...
[21:26]	Keesh	steps inside the tower.
[21:27]	Hypathia	"Mmmm.. maybe I should take over the tower and make it the lair! EXCELLENT IDEA!"
[21:29]	Tarathiel	follows the innkeep.
[21:30]	Tarathiel	"We'll see..."
[21:31]	Hypathia	"Eh!? You guys went in before me!? You all faiL!" SHe pouts before following the others inside before it begins two rain.
[21:32]	Keesh	[The interior of the tower is miserable.  Though the stone walls are mostly intact, the stone spiral stair around them is beaten and worn, more like a barely-climbable steep ramp.  The rusted remains of a ladder lay in a pile off to the side.]
[21:33]	Keesh	[Debris is strewn everywhere, and there's naught else within.  Dim light filters in through many holes in the high ceiling above.]
[21:34]	Keesh	[The tower is a good twenty feet in diameter, and twice that tall.]
[21:34]	Tarathiel	gives several bricks a solid thumping, testing the masonry.
[21:34]	Tarathiel	"It looks pretty solid, at least."
[21:35]	Keesh	takes off the dark goggles.  This is more like it~
[21:38]	Keesh	"Tara you take your filthy claws off that wall!  If it cavesh in on ush you're paying for it!"
[21:38]	Gilder	follows the rest of the group towards the tower.
[21:40]	Tarathiel	glares at Keesh.
[21:40]	Tarathiel	...
[21:40]	Tarathiel	then glances at her claws. They're somewhat clean, but she picks at a fleck of dirt under one of them.
[21:41]	Tarathiel	"Just making sure it wouldn't crash down on our heads anyway. Feels like it was built to last."
[21:41]	Keesh	"But you don't KNOW that!"
[21:41]	Keesh	"Idiot..."
[21:41]	Keesh	looks away.  >:T
[21:43]	Tarathiel	promptly hefts him over her shoulder. It has been a couple days; this was overdue.
[21:44]	Tarathiel	"And neither do you, 0x1drunt0x1d."
[21:45]	Hypathia	The girl then pokes it with her worned out stavff tapping it pretty hard several times. "OOohhhh, it IS solid!"
[21:46]	Keesh	tries a graceful maneuver of using the momentum of being picked up to jump out of Tara's arms!
[21:46]	Keesh	lands on Tara's shoulder anyways.
[21:48]	Keesh	"For the love of Ashtilabor, let me go!"
[21:48]	Keesh	wiggles.
[21:49]	Tarathiel	just grips him tighter. One arm is more than enough to manage.
[21:50]	Tarathiel	"Stop wiggling now, and I might not toss you out the door here."
[21:50]	Hypathia	"Ooohh~ keep her in your grasp Tarathiel, I wanna go 'sploring. Might have some regeants I can use. Like.. Daedric bones and what not."
[21:50]	Keesh	continues to wiggle.
[21:51]	Keesh	"If you tossh me out the door at leasht I won't be getting manhandled by you!"
[21:53]	Tarathiel	ignores the loudmouth next to her head and glances around, giving each part of the room a long look.
[21:54]	Tarathiel	Something glimmers in her eyes, and her breathing slows slightly.
[21:54]	Tarathiel	"... Hey, Hypathia. Wanna make a deal?"
[21:56]	Tarathiel	"I take the tower, you take the stuff?"
[21:57]	Keesh	"THEY BOTH BELONG TO ME, I PAID FOR THEM!"
[21:57]	Keesh	beats against Tara's back and kicks.
[21:58]	Gilder	"Can I do anything to help?" Gilder asks Tarathiel.
[21:58]	Tarathiel	unceremoniously drops him onto the stone floor. Half out of shock, half from a plan. She whirls around.
[21:58]	Tarathiel	"Oh! Uh, didn't hear you walk in..."
[21:59]	Hypathia	"Hmm.. maybe.. maybe.. I sorta like the tower too.."
[21:59]	Tarathiel	"... Um, watch him?"
[22:00]	Tarathiel	nudges Keesh with her foot before facing Hypathia again.
[22:00]	Hypathia	"Lemme have it one day out of the week and we got a deal!" She grins and looks for a set of stairs to go upwards.
[22:00]	Tarathiel	"I'll throw in dishes for a month."
[22:00]	Keesh	quickly scampers out of Tara's reach.
[22:01]	Keesh	"No one getsh it, it'sh already MINE!  You don't have the money to rent it from me anywaysh!"
[22:03]	Tarathiel	"I wanna live in here. I'll let you use one room for... 'experiments' occasionally?"
[22:03]	Tarathiel	continues to ignore Keesh, leaving him to Gilder. She follows Hypathia.
[22:03]	Keesh	"You get the shervant'sh quartersh, and I think you should be happy you're all girlsh in there!"
[22:04]	Hypathia	"Done deal but I get to put my stuff in there that people are kinda antsy about like.. human bones, dead babies. That fun stuff!" She has no qualm about doing more questionable things as the girl didn't care for the stairs condition before going up on it.
[22:06]	Tarathiel	"I pick the room. Otherwise, good?"
[22:08]	Keesh	"Hey, pay attention to your bossh when I'm shpeaking to you!"
[22:09]	Keesh	picks up what might be an old lump of coal and throws it at Hypathia's torso.
[22:12]	Tarathiel	It bumps offer harmlessly, but not without getting her attention. She turns to face him, grin all teeth.
[22:12]	Tarathiel	"Ah, so I finally work for you?"
[22:12]	Keesh	"Not you, her!  Did I look like I wash throwing thingsh at you?!"
[22:13]	Keesh	points at Hypathia, even though Keesh's aim WAS bad enough to hit Tara.
[22:14]	Hypathia	"Sounds good.. oh nice throw. Good thing you're not part of the calvary. You'd die!~" She giggles before going upward even more.
[22:15]	Gilder	"I think events have left your control." Gilder tells Keesh calmly.
[22:16]	Hypathia	laughed as she did only to have karma slap her across the face and slid on some oh so wonderful grit tumbling back down. "CUrse this damned outfiitttttt! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA------"
[22:20]	Keesh	looks at Glider.
[22:20]	Keesh	"They shtill work for me.  What'sh that you got there?"
[22:20]	Tarathiel	leaps to her aid in a flash, gently catching her. It's like landing on a bed of fluff and silk, except made of half-elf-dragon.
[22:21]	Tarathiel	doesn't put her down immediately.
[22:21]	Tarathiel	"Are you alright?"
[22:24]	Gilder	"Well, the question is how much value are they bringing you by doing this? It's interesting to contemplate what they can do on their own initiative."
[22:25]	Keesh	frowns.
[22:25]	Hypathia	"Well then... thank you~" She even gives Tarathiel the "My Heroooooo!"  Look before thanking them once more before asking to be let down. "That was fun!"
[22:25]	Keesh	"They can use they own inishiative on their OWN time!"
[22:26]	Keesh	points to the paper in Glider's hand.
[22:26]	Keesh	"What'sh that?"
[22:27]	Tarathiel	, unused to the reaction, puts simply puts her down.
[22:27]	Tarathiel	"Anytime..."
[22:28]	Hypathia	"Also there's really nothing up there unless you can make use of rocks and dust.."
[22:30]	Tarathiel	"Well, you could still use a bit as a lab, right?"
[22:31]	Gilder	"I have no idea, honestly. I found it in the guest's room."
[22:31]	Tarathiel	finally notices the letter Gilder carries.
[22:32]	Tarathiel	"Someone left a letter behind?"
[22:34]	Keesh	[Paws for a sec]
[22:41]	Keesh	[We're good.]
[22:41]	Keesh	motions for the note.
[22:45]	Hypathia	"Oh, well you guys look at that letter or whatever, I wanna see what's on top first!" As soon as wthe girl was put down, she was already making her way back up the stairs, this time watching her step a bit more carefully.
[22:47]	Gilder	hands it over.
[22:47]	Tarathiel	watches her steps for a moment before turning to Gilder and the letter.
[22:50]	Keesh	smooths the letter out on the wall and tries to make out the words.
[22:54]	Keesh	[The staircase leads up to an observation area with a wooden floor and a waist-high stone railing.  Normally, there would be a timber roof to provide shelter for any guards, but the roof has long since collapsed.  More than half the upper area is blocked off by decaying roof, and from the way the floor creaks, crawling around on top of it might be considered foolish.]
[22:56]	Hypathia	"Oh.. mmm.. what piece of crap... gonna probably fixs this up if I Don't want to become my own experiment.."
[22:57]	Hypathia	looks around to see if there's any good and stable footing for her as she stood at top of the stairs browsing around as much as she could.
[22:57]	Keesh	[Hunched against the stone border is a massive skeleton in a semi-seated position, though most of its torso has fallen out of place.  It appears humanoid, but would be at least nine feet tall if not more, and the bones look much stouter than that of a normal humanoid.]
[22:59]	Keesh	"Let'sh shee, let'sh shee...  Dwarven?  No, no...  Ushes the same runesh, though..."
[23:03]	Keesh	"Tara can you read...  wordsh?"
[23:04]	Keesh	was about to name a language before realizing that Tara, of course, is an idiot.
[23:07]	Hypathia	"Oh hey!" She turns around and screams down below to the others if they could even hear her. " BONES! BIG ONES I FOUND A BONER!" She has no idea what she just said there just taht there were bones, big ones.
[23:07]	Tarathiel	snorts. "Of course I can read."
[23:08]	Tarathiel	looks towards the stairs, confused.
[23:08]	Tarathiel	"... What?"
[23:12]	Keesh	welcomes the distraction from the note that is totally readable but Keesh just doesn't feel like reading it right now!
[23:12]	Keesh	"We'd better shtop her; never know when we could ushe a virgin maiden in the future."
[23:13]	Keesh	turns to Glider.
[23:13]	Keesh	"She'sh a virgin, right?"
[23:14]	Tarathiel	looks between the two of them. o O ( ... What!? )
[23:15]	Gilder	"Wait, what?"
[23:16]	Keesh	takes that as a "no".
[23:17]	Hypathia	The girl immediatly rushes without a care for her bearings now. SHE FOUND BONES! The rest could hear stomping s from above the creaking and possibly weak floor.
[23:20]	Keesh	strolls over to the wall and starts scaling it like some kind of gecko and/or spider human.
[23:27]	Gilder	starts heading upstairs too, concerned for Hypathia.
[23:33]	Hypathia	She begins to inspect the bones to see if they're still in a good condition  and praying they're not too brittle. "Oooh these are some nice big bones... I.. wait, what are you?" She squints at the corpse trying to figure out what this thing was before it died.
[23:39]	Tarathiel	Between a slavedriver and a humble slave, Tarathiel will take the latter anyday. She follows Gilder upstairs.
[23:42]	Keesh	[The bones begin to "ripple" slightly, as if they were underwater.]
[23:43]	Hypathia	"Oh. uh.. that..s that's not supposed to happen I think..... yeah." She takes the femur without thinking and began to back away from the thing.
[23:45]	Keesh	[The rippling continues around the skeleton; the femur Hypathia holds seems to be unaffected.  A vaguely humanoid shape now distorts light slightly around where the skeleton is "seated"]
[23:47]	Hypathia	"Guys? You might wanna check this thingy out, looks like an angel or something I stole from. Really shiny!" Slowwly the girl made her way back to the stairway keeping an eye on the thing's reaction.
[23:50]	Keesh	crawls up to the observation deck and is immediately blinded by the ambient daylight despite the clouds.
[23:50]	Keesh	tries to remember where the goggles went.
[23:50]	Tarathiel	steps in front of Gilder, clenching her fists. This doesn't look good...
[23:55]	Keesh	[The distortion continues to coalesce, but very slowly.  It remains transparent, like extremely-fine glass, and seems to be of the same shape and size as the skeleton.  "Massive" is the only adjective that can really be made out at this point.]
[23:56]	Keesh	"What the hellsh ish going on, I can't shee!  Shomeone tell me shomething!"
[23:57]	Tarathiel	gulps as she finds herself nearly eye to eye with the first thing she has seen since her dad.
[23:59]	Hypathia	"Its a really, really big boner thing!" She yells, slightly scared now. Then She recalls the rather large kitchen knife she had for chopping meat on her side. "Oh.. this isn;'t going to do anything. "
[00:01]	Keesh	"Shomeone ELSHE tell me shomething!"
[00:02]	Tarathiel	"It's... Some kind of giant ghost."
[00:02]	Hypathia	"Big?.. White? I don;'t know but I think I pissed it off!.. "
[00:02]	Tarathiel	"What did you take, Hypathia?"
[00:02]	Tarathiel	shouts back to her without taking her eyes off the... 0x1dthing0x1d.
[00:03]	Hypathia	"Its... femur. But he's not even using it anymore~! " She pouts before getting ready to deal with wahtever that thing is with the otehrs aas backup now.
[00:11]	Keesh	[The distortion is more discernible now, though still transparent and quite colorless.  It's some kind of ogre, or possibly a freakishly large orc, dressed in a sleeveless tunic, and looks female by the size of its chest.  It has long hair, pulled back in a ponytail.  Its face is an enigma.  It sits against the edge of the tower, arms clasped around its stomach.]
[00:12]	Keesh	[Its head moves around, but does not seem to be looking for or notice anything.]
[00:18]	Gilder	"Put it back, then! It wants to use it now!"
[00:20]	Hypathia	"Not if its gonna attack us! I Just saved our butts!"
[00:23]	Tarathiel	"Give it the bone, Hypthia. I'm pretty sure it will attack us unless you do, in which case you're doing the opposite of saving us."
[00:25]	Keesh	finally puts the goggles back on and manages to observe the situation.
[00:25]	Keesh	backs away slightly.
[00:25]	Keesh	"...Hypathia, did you just dishturb the dead...?"
[00:28]	Hypathia	"I wanted its remains so I can take a chance at Necromancy okay?" She looks at the group and then the thing, deciding on keepgin the bone. "Oh deal with it then, its just one guy!"
[00:30]	Keesh	glares.
[00:31]	Keesh	"If it's just one guy then YOU deal with it!"
[00:31]	Hypathia	"Fine! Just because of that, I'm bringing its whole body back to the inn just to spite you!"
[00:32]	Tarathiel	"Good. Keep it out of my tower."
[00:34]	Keesh	"It'sh MY TOWER!"
[00:35]	Tarathiel	grabs Gilder's arm and drags him aside, leaving a clear path between the ghost and Keesh.
[00:35]	Tarathiel	"Take care of it, then."
[00:39]	Hypathia	"Then you should help SLACKER." She glares daggers at Keesh, baiting her into helping, hopefully.
