  1. Well not much can be said about the process used to learn my monologue, though I can easily divide it into two parts and say where I went from there. The first part, after having read it over once was designing the character back story for my Head of Year. From what I can gather, the man in my case, is rather scatter brained and a little all over the place. Often trailing off in his thought process to which I found useful for taking pauses to remember the next line, as seamlessly you can make it appear as if the man I shall call Tobias Reed, is simply drifting off into another bound of thoughts. So creating that absent mindedness of the character was a major help in going forth to helping learn the monologue and one that I found to be rather helpful. Another thing that helped having then set the character persona was the tone of his speech pattern, just remember how he was suppose to speak and then remembering them lines in such a way helped verbally imprint it in my mind. With this process, I was able to come up with a clear view of what I wanted to portray and display right off the bat.

  3. My evaluation of this, now taking a step back and looking at it as if someone else was doing so, was that as follows. The creation of the character was great for ensuring a set tone and that the words would come across easier to remember due to the fact that they could now be verbally ingrained into ones mind, much like an actor taking up a well known roll and rehearsing his lines, you can bet your bottom pound he would do so in a voice and tone befitting of said character to help him prepare. In conclusion, I am pleased with what I have come up with and used as it is already proving to be a marginal help and most likely a staple foundation in what my future in drama may entail.
