Genki searched the remnants of Moe's laboratory for the hard drive that he spoke of in his video message. There was a lot of junk laying around. Jars filled with what looked like left over pieces of brain, hands, and the odd wire here and there. After a couple hours of searching he finally found what looked to be the hard drive spoken about. Plugging it in and then using a wire to connect his port on the back of his neck he instantly connected with the device. Files upon files began to download into Genki's modified memory, his brain being filled with countless possibilities of research. Gravity, modules for becoming stronger, faster, even more durable. Most of which was completely unheard of till now by Genki. There -was- however mention of a device that could double his energy supply but weaken his ability to enhance himself through ki.

Genki didn't know how to control his power yet, so this meant very little to him. He grabbed several wires around the broken down lab and began to get to work on a small blue hued orb that resonated with an energy signature. It was going to direct any overflow of energy, stockpile it and then keep it like a reserve tank to call upon whenever his body was in need of more power. It was a long shot but with the device in hand and several hours of welding he felt like he had the prototype ready. There were several things to consider. He wasn't going to put it into his body just yet, he still needed to find out where the mod could go, and if it didn't work, what were going to be the draw backs. Genki didn't want to get sapped too hard and not be able to do anything, there was a chance that if the module backfired that it would leave him helpless.

Instead Genki put the module into something else. A little tiny robot toy that he had found in the wreckage. Placing the orb inside he wired the device to each appendage and then finally where the brain would be. Placing a small chip into his memory slots he began to upload his cognitive files on to it before placing the chip into the head of the small bot. Wiring the device to this, he waited to see results. Without much time needed to pass the robot was looking around, staring at Genki then it's surroundings. Clearly the device worked, but there was a chance that it needed some more output if it was going to power Genki.

He rummaged through the wreckage a little more, finding a sort of engine made for space pods. Though it was made originally for rocket fuel Genki knew of a way to replace the conventional fuel injector with that of a ki based one, using his original device prototype. He ripped out the fuel deposit, replaced it with the prototype, then took what components he needed from the engine itself to make it work with his inner gears. He slit himself open using his Multipurpose cut yourself open and hopefully not kill yourself tuner and looked inside. Moe, clearly left a spot for such a device and luckily, being only half cybernetic, made it so as he slipped in the device he was not completely rendered useless. There was a grinding sound at first while he was wiring everything to his circuits. After a short moment he got the gears turning again using his own perpetual ki, forcing it into the blue hued object to begin the syphoning and the output all at once. It was self sustaining, but made Genki feel like he had energy for days. The project was a success for the most part, but he knew that being a prototype he needed to find something a little more sustainable, like a reactor core to give him that extra little bit.
