  1. GGG Nome King (Defensive drone specialist)
  2.
  3. I'm told this one was an outside commission to produce a drone-based support unit, probably a 'pitch to the lowest bidder' sort of thing. As a result, this one is a little different to satisfy client demands, but the GGG flair in some of the systems is unmistakable, for good or ill. Not particularly large, sturdy, or quick, the usual traits of a powerful frontline unit were sacrificed to create something 'with heart and lasers'. Not to be confused with mazers, because this isn't that mech.

  20. When trying to come up with basic weaponry for the Nome King, GGG's engineers went back to the drawing board again, but finally they settled on a series of rapid moving drones that spam lasers. They're flashy and annoying, but their strength comes in numbers.

  27.
  28. As an end of round action, deal 1d3 energy damage to all enemies you are Locked On to. If a talent, system, or other effect would apply an effect to the target of your drones, choose one target to receive this effect.

  32. Finneler Aegis
  33.
  34. This oversized shield doesn't offer much in the way of armor when used traditionally, but does house a series of sensors and program suites that grant onboard drones the pinpoint accuracy needed to shoot down incoming attacks. When asked why they made this into a shield instead of an internal system, we were dismissed with the notion that they 'ran out of room inside the mech' to house it.

  42. When wielding this shield, your mech's drones gain a new function. Once per round as a reaction, when an enemy deals damage to your mech you may fire one of your drone system's weapons at the incoming attack (regardless of if the attacker is Locked On to or not). Reduce the damage you take by the damage the drone does. Afterwards, disable that drone system until the start of your next turn.
  43.

  45.
  46. Alliance Shuffler Nexus
  47.
  48. An unusual drone nexus that is designed to be externally mounted on a mech's hands and wielded like a weapon. While some would say this defeats the point of being a drone nexus in the first place, the minds at GGG developed some kind of revolutionary protocol that lets this thing reconfigure other drones on the mech temporarily into an attack formation - even the ones that weren't designed as weapons. As evocative as usual, the designers of this particular system say the secret is the 'loud roar' of the program telling the other drones to 'grasp victory'.

  52. Smart Drone System
  53. End of round action
  54. Requires Lock On
  55.
  56. When you install this system, choose one of your mech's arms. That arm is considered to be wielding a weapon while this system is installed. As an end-of-round action, deal 1d3+X energy damage to one target you are locked on to, where X is twice the number of drone nexuses you have installed.

  65. Activate this drone nexus as an action. It fires itself (yes, the whole drone nexus) and attaches to any friendly mech within range 15. While attached, the nexus becomes an external system to the attached mech (and conversely, no longer counts as a system for your mech - unless you attached it to yourself for some reason) and can be struck, exploding for 2d6 explosive damage and 1d6 heat damage to all mechs in blast 1 (self) if they don't pass an agility check (unavoidable for the attached mech).
  66.
  67. A mech this nexus is activated and attached to causes Locked On enemies to take 1 Difficulty when targeting them with attacks, and the host mech gains the following reaction:
  68.
  69. Barrierable Formation x1
  70. Reaction
  71. Trigger: You take damage from an energy weapon attack by a Locked On target
  72. Your mech gains resistance against that attack.

  75.
  76. Newtype Drone Conversion
  77.
  78. Part of the contract GGG signed included stipulations to allow them a measure of creative freedom in the design process of this suite - and it looks like they pushed even that to its limits. What kind of person comes up with a way to convert conventional weapons into drones? What purpose could that possibly serve? Apparently someone just got bored and thought it was a cool idea.

  83. Choose one Main or Auxillary weapon wielded by this mech. It becomes a Drone system and gains the Smart tag. In addition, it no longer needs to roll for accuracy, may only be used as an End of Round action, its range becomes Sensor Range, and it now requires Lock On. It must still be wielded or integrated in order to be used, and still counts against integration limits. You may no longer use talents associated with this weapon's former type.

  86.
  87. FINAL Guardian
  88.
  89. The names GGG uses for their systems are usually hit or miss as far as their function is concerned, but this one is spot on. It's a defense system that sacrifices the user's drones to detonate and absorb attacks, acting as a sort of last, reactive armor. I got a look at the original schematics for this thing and "EXPLOSION SHIELD!" was written in the margins. Go figure.

  95.
  96. As a reaction, you can exhaust your drone nexuses as a last line of defense for yourself or your allies. When an enemy deals damage to you or an ally's mech, as a reaction, choose one of your drone nexuses. This nexus becomes destroyed, and the target of that attack gains +4 armor against that attack's damage. This armor can temporarily exceed the cap of 6. This protocol is Limited (X), where X is the number of drone nexuses you have, and you can repeat this reaction against any number of unique attacks.
