First off, I have been apart of the staff team for quiet awhile now. I had big goals once I was accepted and promoted to a Moderator on COD Zombies. I was the happiest man alive when I was being interviewed on teamspeak with all the moderators and administrators listening to my responses. One of my biggest goals was become a offical Global Adminisitrator for AEM.. I loved AEM so much, and I still love it now..
There is a big problem though, and I am sure you all know about it. All the old staff members have left, resigned or demoted. Now it's just not the same. It's not as fun as it was before, everything is different and Minecraft is getting boring in general. There are many bugs on all these servers for months now, and nothing has been fixed. I've tried helping, nothing has changed.
Nick and I have been good friends for years now, in-fact I brought him to this server, and ever since he's been doing a great job as a Administrator. We've spoken about all these bugs, not being fixed and all these staff members resigning. We've thought about leaving with them, but we chose not to. We didn't want to leave the network and let it burn as we watched it, so we've decided to stay for awhile, and see if change would come to the server, try to help save it, and grow while we lasted. Seems like nothing has changed, which made me extremely depressed.
The time has come, I am now offically resigning as a staff member on AEM Network.
Don't take this the wrong way, I still love you all very, very much and I am not angry or frustated at any of you. You guys changed my life, you all changed the way I thought, and I had an amazing time with you guys. The memories that was created with all of you is insane. All the friends I have created from your server, all the exciment and joy you generated for me is absolutely breath-taking. The community, the staff, the owners are incredible.
Because of you guys, all the players that welcomed me as I joined the network for the first time. All the players who congratulated me when I became a staff member, all the players that made me laugh, because of you guys. My life was changed.
I would love to also leave in peace, I would love to hop on the server time to time, and check on how it's going. I would still love to build for the network, if I ever do get the chance.
Like Nick said earlier, please do not follow us. Please DONT leave the server with us, we are not leaving for anybody, and we are not being forced to leave. We're just moving on with life..
